I can get behind this, and it’s most likely the truth.

I also think  that there is a lot of disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing going on around here lately...I didn’t start the disagreement in this case, but I wasn’t going to let someone crap on my opinion with a worse opinion than mine.

Now that I got that off my chest, maybe I can do a better job of ignoring these knuckleheads in the future.👍

    It’s not that serious

Edit: A RED X???? How dare you crap on my opinion. You basically just called me an idiot.

    Wrong.

If the Bills only replaced Saffold, and hoped for improvements from Brown, the O-line would still be just treading water.

What really put this O-line over the top was the improved play of Dawkins and the addition of Torrence.

“The modest improvements at two spots that were already fine has been more important than the massive improvements at the two spots that were huge liabilities.”

    Flawless logic 👍

Dawkins, who was a question mark coming into the season, has really upped his game to a new level, and O'Cyrus Torrence, who obviously should have been a first round pick, thankfully fell to us in the second round.

These two things have made all the difference in increasing the O-line's performance, IMO.

No I’m pretty sure it’s because the worst two linemen last year BY FAR either got replaced (Saffold) or have show huge improvements this season (Brown).

How many yards does he have when the Bills are up 3 scores?

I’ll make it easy. Most of his yards have come late in blowouts. Nothing to impressive so far.

No. Not up 30-3 or 31-10. Game over. Half his yards have come in at the end of these games.

A lot of people dislike my garbage time yards post without a rebuttal. You know what that means right?

Cook will definitely earn his flowers this year but not yet. It’s early.

I said late in 3 score games. This isn’t your typical run the clock out stuff. Why are people so upset.

Theres running the clock and then there’s garbage time.

I don’t care about garbage time is the point.

As I said up 3 scores in the 4th is garbage time.

So it’s a big difference. Not exactly running to wear you down.

Would be amazing. Means the Bills had a lot of blowout wins to allow Cook his garbage time rushing yards.

Thanks for replying to my post with your thoughts about Cook in garbage time. I never would’ve known otherwise 🤦‍♂️.

You know what they call a number 3 receiver masquerading as a number 2?

They call them a number two.

If  you can do the things a number two can - and Gabe absolutely does - you're a #2. And the people who call you a #3 are wrong.

Gabe is currently on track for 901 yards and 11.3 TDs. That would make him 27th in yards and put him in a four-way tie for 3rd in TDs if you put him into last year's rankings.

Now in reality three games isn't a big enough sample size. We don't really know how he'll do yet. Duh. But he's performing well.

    He just is.

Gabe is an almost textbook example of a big bodied WR2. When people say he’s not and “we need a true #2 WR!!”, what they really mean is they want a second WR1.

No question the TEs need to be a focal point in the offense but know that Kincaid is on pace for 62 receptions for the season, which would be the 5th highest reception total by a rookie TE in NFL history. This even with DK having on 2 receptions last game. How much more can you ask for what he’s contributed so far?

I’m not blaming Kincaid for it, but his average depth of target is 3.4 yards downfield. I’d like to see that increase a lot.

I really hope the Bills blitz every play and knock Tua into next month. They will be rolling into Buffalo cocky as hell, I want them to go back to Miami in a body bag

He has the fastest time to throw in the league so far this year. I don’t know what his stats look like against the blitz but I’d reckon they’re pretty darn good.

FWIW, and I didn't watch all-22 or do my own scoring, @Bocephuz has been doing a breakdown of pass protection, and said "1/3 of the pass plays".

There were 32 pass attempts plus at least one scramble on busted protection, so that would mean ~11

They said “about 1/3” which tells me they weren’t keeping an exact count, which is fine. I watched the condensed version of all the Bills possessions specifically watching Brown on very play. Even if they’re right and I’m wrong, Brown was still blocking a very good DE without any help on the majority of passing downs and held up well (0 sacks, 1 QB hit).

I just watched the Bills 3 RBs and 2 TEs combine for a grand total of about 30yrds receiving (or about 6 yrds per player) because they're busy spending half the game playing RT. It's a problem just about every week, regardless of whether they win.

By half the game you mean 7 snaps? Cause that’s how many times Spencer Brown got help on a passing play.
