Man if gms are getting fired for not drafting Troy Franklin who is left?
“OMG Beane is so dumb for passing on this player that 30 other GMs also passed on.” Rinse and repeat every year with these clowns.

At this point I’m convinced half of y’all would be OK with Beane drafting a JUCO player so long as they play WR.

The only Beane picks I’ve disliked as much as this one are Josh Allen and Terrel Bernard. So it looks like the Bills found themselves a future stud in Keon Coleman.

Maybe we can trade #33 to KC for a box of crackers.
If one of them is Thuney or Humphrey I’d consider it

Even the draft chart says we got robbedWhich chart you looking at??? The one I’m looking at says we lost 70 by moving down in the first and gained 80 by moving up 40 picks into the 3rd.

Unless they’re able to get one of the top 3 guys without giving up a future 1st then no. This WR class is way too deep, especially when it comes to late 1st/early day 2 caliber talent. Just stand pat at 28 and have your pick of the bunch.

Yes he is a clear upgrade over what the Bills had
He’s not an upgrade over Davis because he’s not a Davis replacement. They’re completely different types of players that run completely different route trees. During that time Samuel has an average depth of target of ~6.5 yards vs ~15 yards for Gabe. Comparing their catch percentages is incredibly dumb.

Hope he gets paid, just not by us. You just know he was super frustrated during his slump this year and yet we never heard a peep out of him or saw him upset on the sidelines. Got no ill will towards him whatsoever.

The Bills only need:
- one more stop against the Chiefs
- one more score against the Chiefs
That would flip the script for at least two of the playoff losses.
Which is the easier path?
I’d bet on achieving one more score. A WR with deep ball ability would seem the best way to make it happen.
The easiest way to outscore the Chiefs in that game would’ve been having a competent NFL kicker

For someone who’s strength was supposed to be catching the ball out of the backfield his hands have been very dissapointing. He’s far exceeded my expectations as ball carrier though and is overall a very good back, but I think he has all-pro potential if he cleans up the drops. Outside of Josh and Dion he was easily the best part about this offense.

People arguing that Allen should have been MVP over Lamar while I'm sitting here thinking that it should be a punishable offense that he was given more points than Tyreek Hill or Stroud
I think it should be punishable offense than you think a WR was more valuable to their team than Josh.

I really think Beane will try to move some players for draft picks in the offseason. We have a lot of needs and not enough cap room to address them in free agency.
So you think he’s gonna create even more needs that he has to fill with rookies and bottom of the barrel free agents? Fat chance.

Mahomes getting carried by his defense??? Dang I guess he really is the new Brady.

He’s ok but more of a #2 imho. This team need a true #1 fullback to get them over the hump in the playoffs.

Be grateful that the Buffalo Bills have an HC that has taken this team to the playoffs 6 of 7 years and won the division the last 4.
No. If we still had fringe backup QBs like the drought years I’d be grateful. But we have a generational talent at QB that is one of the best postseason QBs of all time. The standards and expectations have changed. If you’re still happy to just make the playoffs then good for you, but the vast majority fans are not. Losing in the divisional round 3 years in a row with Josh Allen as your QB is a travesty.

Let's not forget Andy Reid's playoff history before Mahomes.
Great point. McDermott will totally become a SB winning coach like Reid once he has an elite, generational talent at QB. Oh wait…

Not that surprising tbh. Dude slipped big time in the draft because of character/maturity concerns. It’s crazy how some people can’t help but still be utter morons even when millions of dollars are at stake.

The defense is why we lost that game. Atrocious and embarrassing performance by them.
Didn’t Evans cause an INT in the first quarter of their game against Detroit?
There’s never only one single reason why you lose a game. Diggs was also atrocious.

Average pass rusher and great run defender. He actually had a career high in pressures and QB hits this year (per PFR) but struggled to finish. I think having Von playing at really high level benefitted him a lot last year (2022). I still want to see him get more opportunities to rush from inside on obvious passing downs. Got a ton of sacks doing that at Miami. Overall I’d say he’s nothing special but he’s a starting caliber DE for sure and far from being someone that holds this team back.

The contracts for Diggs, Von, White, and Knox are anchors holding this team back in the immediate future. $94 million in dead cap between those 4 players. Gross.

Rd 7, Pick 221: OT Travis Clayton

I was just about to mention him too. If there’s even a 5% chance Clayton can be the next Mailata it’s worth the minimal risk.
