Take Lynch at 12 and move up a little to guarantee David Harris or the top OLB left.
-
We can take Lynch at 12 and our offense is a whole lot better. We can than take David Harris in the second round-who is a true middle linebacker. He will be a tackling machine in the pros.
Or trade back into the 1st using our 2nd and Baltimore's 3rd. Anyone remember what it cost last year to get back into the 1st?
-
I am not endorsing a move to get him, but I agree that if the Bills want him, they'll probably have use one of those 3rd rounders to get him. Even with the injury history -- and the possibility that he could sit out his entire rookie season -- SOME team will take a chance on him. The recent success of Frank Gore will drive teams in that direction.
More than likely the team that takes a chance on him will be the Atlanta Falcons.

He'd be perfect for this offense.
Power runner for a power running team. The upgraded line was made for a power running team, not a scat-back.
-
The 2nd is too high for hunt. I would rather take Pitman in the 2nd if we are going to do that.
He'd be perfect for this offense.
-
POZ in the 1st then Tony Hunt in the 2nd.

I would think if AP fall to 6 Marv should make a deal. I can't see him getting past Minnesota, Atlanta, and Houston. What would Marv have to give up to move from 12 to 6? I really thought they would trade their 2nd for Turner, but the uncertainty of that will cause the Bills to think RB eariler.
Would this make sense? Take a LB (Willis or POZ) at 12 and trade back into the 1st round to take Marshawn Lynch, likely before Green Bay. What would it take to get back into the 1st round to get Lynch?

I'm sure Buffalo is talking with them also, unless they've decided they don't want him. Offer your second straight up and throw in Roscoe Parrish if needed.

We need to worry more about Travis Henry than Jay Cutler. Who's going to stop him?
-
can't get to the site for some reason.
Making their interest in the best available running back left on the free agent market official, the Buffalo Bills hosted San Diego restricted free agent running back Michael Turner Thursday at One Bills Drive.

Didn't they let Henry walk because he was due an insanely high roster bonus? I think they would've liked to keep him but their hands were tied by the contract they had negotiated with him.
So I don't think they were necessarily ever sold on White.
That happens all the time, though. When a player is due a huge roster bonus, the team and the player re-negotiate a better deal for both parties. Maybe they didn't like his stub fingers?

I don't get what the Titans are doing. They let Travis Henry walk; he was awesome last year. They let him go without a fight because they had Lendale White, who they drafted in the 2nd round last year. Now all of a sudden, they see White is fat and out of shape, so now they scrap that idea and want to get Turner. They might as well get rid of White too. Just doesn't make sense to me why they would give up on a 2nd round pick so easily, after deciding he was good enough to let Travis Henry go.

Your privacy among other things.
According to the website, here's all you have to do to acquire said "FREE" XBox.
1. Enter your e-mail address. (This will be sold to a spammer. Expect to have your inbox clogged to
shortly after signing up)
2. Tell us where to send to send your XBox (They want your postal address so they can sell it. Expect a huge influx of junk mail)
The next two are the biggies, the "catch" if you will.
3. Consider some of our Special Deals.
4. Complete the Sponsored offers of your choice.
You will be offered numerous deals, and you will have to pick and complete some of those offers (Usually 4-5 offers). Such offers include switching phone service (not only switch, but use for a period of time), and applying, getting accepted, and using a credit card for a period of time (I see Discover Card is one of their sponsors). Failure to complete any offer to it's full extent is reason to void the "FREE" XBox offer.
But they get to keep your name, address, and e-mail address to continue reselling to others.
OK, when is Microsoft lowering the price? I think I'll pass on the "free" 360.

Why is Profootballtalk the only source for this? Has anyone actually seen it on NFL NETWORK?
-
Bad deal, particularly when Ricky Williams is available...
You're kidding, right? Ricky Williams?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
-
Why is it a bad deal? Everyone was bitching with what we got for that piece of crap McGahee and now we gave too much (which is what everyone here wanted for McGahee) for a guy who runs hard and is a team player (have you heard any complaints from him being the #2 for the past few years?)
-
How can you watch THIS MONSTER RUN by Turner and NOT get excited about him on our team? He's a freaking stud!
Too much of a hot-dog for me. That's why Nate and Willis are gone.
-
Don't have time to check, but I thought Maroney got cleared.
If true that is good news. We don't need any more competition in the RB sweepstakes whether it is Turner, Peterson, Lynch, etc.
-
Your source for this claim is a thread on a San Deigo messgae board titled: "really crazy michael turner speculation"......If Michael Turner ends up a Patriot, I'll eat my keyboard.
Where did I say source? The definition of speculation is "to think or wonder about a subject." And I put the link on there so you could see what the Charger fans are saying.
-
I'd also throw Ryan Kalil in as a possible pick if the Bills trade down in R1. Fowler isn't a bad player, but I wouldn't be suprised if Marv picks a great center prospect in an attempt to find another Kent Hull.
Trade down and get Justin Blalock the massive guard to fill the RG spot.
-
Speculation by a San Diego fan, but it could happen, in light of the Maroney situation. I myself think Turner is going to be a top 10 back, maybe top 5. Just my opinion, but the guy looks good and was awesome in college.
I am sold. Marshawn Lynch at #12.

Somewhat right. The only reason I didn't want the Bills to take Lynch at 12 before was because I thought he was a major character risk, and I didn't want another McGahee. I love how Lynch is a team guy, it is the perfect thing for this team. Like I said, my questions are answered.
