Great news! My old man and I hope to make it up for a game this season - we'd never consider parking anywhere but Hammer's!

Per the Sportslogos blog, this is a replica helmet. Perhaps it is a photo of a mini helmet, which might not have all of the exact details (decal size, etc) perfect?

Nick in England posted a link over on Sportslogos.net - they're HUGE on new logos, unis, etc.

Thanks to all that came out! I think that we represented well...and we kept the streak alive!

That obviously some hack's attempt at putting together some uniforms. Even if the Bills did change to that abortion, there is no way the Steelers are dropping their black helmets for some ****ty yellow helmets with diamond plating.
Move on, nothing to see here.
(haha - posted this before reading the thread - I see that Heitz and I are on the same page)

I will meet you guys there at 7:45.
If you guys need a flagpole let me know. I have a telescopic one that I can bring with me.
Please do! Since I'm flying up, I'll be lacking my normal tailgating gear. Packing the flag now to make sure I remember...

I'm flying in and going to the game with some friends from Kentucky. I remember the Longworth Hall lot from the last time the Bills played in Cincinnati. Will look for other Bills fans there.
Don't want to jinx us, but the weather forecast is looking good. High around 60 and partly sunny.
Just remember - we'll be in the "other" lot this time. Last time we were on the south side of the long brick building. Hope to see you there!

I’ll be at the Longworth hall lot that Udonkey has recommended. It should be noted that Longworth Hall is a long building with parking lots both north and south of the hall. I’ll be in the lot to the north of the building. The Pinto stays in Buffalo, but I’ll have a “community” grill, tables and some basic supplies on hand (paper towels, utensils, 16 pound shot glass, etc.). I’m hoping to get a couple of cars in a convoy so we can string a few together in the lot early. Late comers can walk over. Feel free to PM me for my cell number.
Kenny - I'll PM you w/ my contact info. I'll be driving a Tahoe, so will have some capacity to help bring supplies.

I previously posted this back in September, but due to lack of replies, it found a home in the archive and I could no longer bump it up.
Anyone making the trip to the Queen City? I'm no longer living in Cincy, but will be flying in that weekend to go to the Rutgers @ UC game on Saturday (www.catstix.com) then the Bills @ Bengals game on Sunday.
If you're going, feel free to reply in this thread or PM me if you want advice on where to go/what to do...
I'd recommend tailgating in the Longworth Hall lot, just west of the stadium:
I'm told that parking is $30-40/car and that they have charged $5/head if you don't park there but want to walk in. Despite the high cost, the proximity to the stadium and great atmosphere is worth it. Since it's not a county owned lot, I don't think that they abide by the "4 hour before kickoff" rule, so I'd suggest getting there before 8am to secure a spot.
Also, despite the fact that we're having (yet another) down season, we've still got this to enjoy...gotta keep the streak alive:

10/21/91 - CIN 16 @ BUF 35

I'm kidding...I've just always wanted to do that.
I saw your name as the poster and thought NO WAY! Haha...

Wife and I will be there, driving up from Louisville. Still finalizing plans and all that. Any Bills tailgate happening anywhere?
I helped coordinate an awesome tailgate in '04, but unfortunately, since I'm not living there and won't have a vehicle, grill, etc, I'm going to be piggy backing with friends that are Bengals fans.

Wow! I didn't know about the streak. Hope this will be one of the Bills 4 wins this year.
I lived in Cincy for 10 years (until last August) and will likely make it my home again one day...virtually all of my friends are Bengals fans, thus, I kept this list handy at all times. Having the upper hand is awesome.

what are your system specs like? I'm only worried about my vid card
I have an athlon quad-core, an nvidia GT7900 512MB and 4GB of ram. Well within the processor and ram specs, sketchy on the vid card.
You'll be fine...I've got:
2ghz Duel Core processor
2GB RAM
64mb GeForce 7400
Like I said above, it's a few years old...I didn't buy it as a gaming machine, but it handles stuff like this to my liking. I don't run all the high settings, but since there's no serious detailing/action, it works well.

Are you going to run it on a desktop or laptop? Kinda want to play it on my laptop but its underpowered to play games usually. I'm wondering how graphics intensive Civ 5 is. I'm just using a Inspiron 1545
Try the demo.
I'm running it on my laptop that's a few years old - Dell XPS M1210 w/ upgraded video. It definitely got hot - there were a couple times when parts of the landscape would become pixelated and/or change colors (purple grass, for example), but it was limited to small areas and generally went away.
Next time I play, I'm going to elevate the rear of my laptop higher to improve airflow.

!@#$...
I haven't played one of these games in forever. Downloaded the demo today, played it to it's limit, and now downloading the full game that I just purchased online. There goes $50 and any productivity I'll see for months.

One question...Boise St gets a bad rap for having 2-3 tough games and the rest cakewalks. Why does Notre Dame get a free pass for essentially having the same schedule breakdown?
I hate Notre Dame as much as the next guy, but they could play a schedule entirely of cellar dweller Big Ten teams and their schedule would be > than BSU.
At this point, I actually think Notre Dame's schedule is pretty solid. They have 4-5 games left on their schedule that could be losses...including tomorrow against MSU.
