  1. So reading through all of this, someone correct me if I’m missing any of these amazing takes

McDermott sucks and should be fired

Josh has been bad since week 6

We need a new RT, LT, LG

Groot should be benched for AJE

Dorsey should be fired (well ok, something needs to be done there)

listen I get it. It was an ugly game. We fell apart, but a couple of very important things to remember.

playoff games, nothing matters except your score being higher than the other teams at the end. Done.

    We came out healthy

ugly wins are still wins. On to Cincinnati.

Allen was simply a play maker tonight.

the refs were terrible. We got a nice little makeup call on that roughing. There was nothing close to a hold the play before. Again the refs were bad.

The refs were bad but that’s not a make up call. You can’t drive a QB into the turf and land your full weight on top of him.

The judge said if someone writes in Brown now, the write in vote won't count. With the signs I saw for Brown in SOUTH BUFFALO (basically every lawn)  he will win. People don't want a communist light (socialist) as mayor.

so small thing for me. Just watched the Labor Day parade in south Buffalo. Found it funny that Mayor Brown was walking with his supporters and waving. Walton had like 4-5 cars groups of people and she was sitting in a convertible mustang with two very obvious security guards (one on each side) walking next to the car. I’m not saying Brown didn’t have security (I’m sure he did), but to me those optics scream I’m better than walking with my supporters.

Yes, what evidence have you seen other than the word of the lawyer? All four happened to have the same lawyer and all 4 did not go to the police? I will wait for the evidence but you will take the word of a known scumbag lawyer.

nice assumption. Show me where I said I believe the lawyer. When reports start piling up With multiple potential victims and a similar pattern on the first two, it’s not easy to ignore that.

For the time being I believe Watson, especially with the scumbag lawyer the ladies have, but it will not take a lot for me to believe the women. I will definitely have to wait to see what evidence is presented and know it will slowly leak until Watson pays to make it stop.

so with four women stepping forward, you still believe Watson? With one I could see it. The more the numbers are climbing, the worse it looks on him

Am I the only one that thinks this thread title is a bit misleading?

He’s celebrating one year sober. THAT should be the major headline.

“Poyer admits he’s an alcoholic” seems...I don’t know....not quite as accurate a descriptor as it could be.

in the Instagram post he says he was an alcoholic. I took a bit of a liberty as I’m of the mindset that once you are an addict of any type, you’re always that, you just may be recovering or fighting the battle.

I took it mainly off his words. Didn’t mean for it to come across misleading.

agree with this. but if a man comes home from war, and life is upside down, and he turns to alcohol, is he a monster compared to a 21 year old heroin addict? I mean, if my future wife boned Antonio Brown, i'd be a lush too? would you? are we gonna talk feelings? I place no judgement on ANYONE. and if they come back, great on them. where do you draw a line between understandable or hero? THAT'S my point

personally, if I’m following you correctly, I don’t think anyone has a right to cast judgement without knowing circumstances. He may not be a hero in your view, which is fine, but for other athletes or highly successful people struggling with an issue, he may be a huge hero to them, for showing it doesn’t only impact certain demographics, and that it’s non discriminatory.

you win internet lmfao. My point is, please dont equate someone coming out with being a hero. it happens every day, with bigger issues. that never get discussed. ✌

the definition of hero is different for everyone. In my view, individuals who overcome or learn to function successfully with addictions or mental health issues are heroes in their own right. Just because the public doesn’t see or recognize people for overcoming them, doesn’t make them any less of a hero than anyone else.
