Oh dear god I'd somehow forgotten about that one. Wasn't that their first home loss in the post season?

That sounds right, but not sure.

What I can tell you is that I had to follow the second half of the game on my flip phone as I was getting prepped for my brother's wedding.

I was in such a bad mood at the reception 😂

I will take the bet he never gets this team to a Superbowl.  I could care less about your record unless you win a Superbowl it is meaningless.

The only thing that will keep Josh Allen from winning a Superbowl is Sean McDermott.  Get a real coach and we will win multiple Superbowls. Keep the Clapper as our headcoach and we will never win a Superbowl.

Wide right, 13 seconds, MSM.   I dont get how anyone would have MSM ahead of this one.  MSM was a wild card card, Rob Johnson at QB, that team was never going to win the superbowl.   I got over that pretty quick and still dont think it was forward.   Wide right and 13 seconds, those are superbowls slipping through your fingers.

Yeah didnt Tasker block a punt, and then they wheels absolutely came off, had hope for about 8 minutes.

Yep. MSM sucked. But when you look at that Bills team, they weren't going anywhere. The manner in which they lost was just crazy.

For me, I'd honestly put the 27-30 loss to the Jags on my list.

No they will not, they will force a square peg into a round hole. We already see this with Ford, the worst draft pick given their status ever, along with the names of Maybin.

    Agreed.

How long has Edmunds been on the team? Seems they're going to roll with him.

And honest question...how often do teams part ways with a player of Edmund's draft position after only however many years he's been with the team?

And whether they lost by 3 or 30 will count for nothing when next years playoffs cone around

Yet another way sports are so different. You lose in the NBA playoffs by 30 one game and can easily come back and win next game, but often times that close loss will F with you.

One and done and long off season, this loss means nothing next January like you said.

You must be young  to have so much optimism

I'm midlife if I expect to live to 84 yrs old 😂.

Anyway. I always call myself 'the original bandwagon fan' because the first time I remember watching a Bill's game was against the Giants in the Superbowl. When they got there the next year I was hooked. Followed/watched them religiously ever since. Every season. Bledsoe, Collins, Edwards, Losman etc etc.

Only have been to Buffalo once and that game was a stinker. It was against the Niners and I think it ended with the Bills losing 6-0.

I don't know. I just feel even after a loss as difficult as this, the team is ready... next year 😂

You won't find me saying that the season after if they don't win the big one.

Basketball is not comparable to football. Superbowl windows are short. We blew a big chance at one this year

Totally agree. Because of the cap and what we've already spent on Josh, this year was the golden opportunity. After Josh turns 30 he probably won't be breaking ankles as often. That window is now about 4-5 years. When Kelce retires we have to pray Hill slows down, gets injured or gets arrested.

  9. Who else is already getting over this loss?

Watched the highlights, which I never do after any loss. Wow.

Blame it on the coaching. Blame it on the defense (which we all know isn't all it's cracked up to be) who was gassed. Blame it on the refs.

Hell, even the Chiefs were getting called out by Romo at one point for questionable playcalling. Imagine what their fans were saying 😂

A game for the ages that has me excited for next season. Now, I know next season we have to worry about the draft, free agency, injuries, coaching etc. But that's every season.

Anyway, I haven't been this up and down after a loss ever. I had friends and family texting me saying "next year!", "They'll get there", "Bills are set". Thing is, I agree with it all. I thought it would be last night even when I was posting doom in the GDT.

Bills are set. See you next season. See you in February 2023.

Diggs, Davis and McKenzie are about all we have at WR right now. We need an impact FA there and we need a high draft pick there and a few more corners and maybe a MLB.

Impact? Not one FA wr does what Gabe did last night. He had a good season but this was his coming out party.
