Looked as if the refs knew they messed up and stopped calling any questionable ones all game. And made up for the call with the coleman pi (which could've gone either way) or if coleman falls down with him as soon as contact occurred he'd get the flag easily
Cook only ran for 20 yards on 9 carries, if they could get him going the score might not be as close as the last game. Cook and the OL improved a lot since then
Allen scored a TD on that same play earlier in the game when no one expected it. They ran the same play on the 3rd and 2 and balt was ready for it. Throwing it there would've fooled them for sure but all they needed was a yard and then they tush push
The play calling felt like the play calling vs KC in the division game. last year. It worked in that it kept them close with all the defensive injuries. This year it worked great up until the 2nd half. I think it would work better this year vs KC since they have their stars this time
The 3rd down play call would've been fine if they had Mack in to block. The sneak though has been superior so I don't understand not going for it if they were going to run
In the last play that should've put them up 2 scores, Josh was running it all the way, they had Mack run to the flat when they needed him there to block, he'd have taken out those 2 blockers and Allen scores
The last drive prevents are killer. They gave up huge chunk plays, if you're gonna give huge chunk plays then let them get it by blitzing and not giving Lamar all day to throw.
Should not have came down to that decision. Allens sneaks have been gaining 2 yrds on each plays, they ran him instead on a designed run for a loss. Woulda been a comfortable 2 possesion lead
