I'm guessing you hear a lot of things that didn't happen.
You have that backwards IMO. I don't wear special colored glasses and Bills earplugs etc.

No, that’s not the point. The point of discussion here is the Zay Jones drop. Period.
If you insist on using a dropped pass as a pretense for digressing into (yet another) critique of Allen’s completion percentage, I’m not interested as it’s been discussed ad infinitum.
But feel free, regardless. You may not want to use a dropped pass as a proof source when citing Allen’s completion percentage, though.
All QB's have balls dropped. Yes, Allen had a high incidence of that last season, however, that was not the only or even main reason his completion percentage was so poor.

Baldy's breakdown was awfully high on Oliver's play so I don't wtf you watched.
lol, I heard different. Sounded to me like he was inferring Oliver has a lot of work to do.

It’s not me who’s missing the point here.
52.8% is the point. After 2019, there will be another point to discuss. We can then correlate that point with how well the Bills did this season.

Is anyone really under the misguided impression that the greatest passers in history placed every ball in the absolute perfect position, on time, to be caught by their receivers;
You're totally missing the point. OFC no one is saying that. They just threw/throw it more accurately more often than Allen.

That, or the REALITY that national media have no incentive to put any energy into informed coverage of a small market team. They get caught ALL THE TIME spewing complete nonsense that proves they aren't putting in the time to earn their paychecks.
The all-time classic, of course, was Marshall Faulk having to make a weak apology for saying the Bills wouldn't be good b/c they needed to upgrade at OLT - when they had pro-bowler Jason Peters at OLT.
More recently, Nate Burleson apologized for leaving Tre' White off his list of top 5 rookie CBs after the 2017 season.
This is a pretty constant behavior, and since the lazy incompetent Faulk is still employed, I am pretty sure they all know the consequences are minimal.
Reporting on the Bills is taken as "vacation time" by the nationals, and they usually mail it in with little to no effort applied.
Maybe they should win some games and this would not happen? I mean the media guys you are whining about have NEVER seen the Bills win. Some of them not even born yet when the Bills were last good lol.

Hmm, I bet a woman is involved in some way

Absolutely are hard to fully be there as there is only on Donald and One Oliver size and talent in the league right now. Tell me how is he undersized stacking a double team fighting across an All Pro OG Face and making the play in the hole?
I need to find the Baldy breakdown and watch again, I can't picture the play. But from the sounds of it I could question how long an undersized player could keep that up.

Or Does Logic say the NFL has evolved and more and more players Oliver Size and Donald Size going to be successful in the NEW NFL instead of the Slobs that cannot move and just eat blocks.
It's a possible trend sure, are we there yet? Nope.

That link is a 404, but I found it.
Mayfeild's pass is better timed, and in tighter coverage. Both plays required the receiver to adjust.

That is simple, lazy logic.
Better (big boy) logic would state that, since Donald has succeeded in the NFL at his size, it's not out of the question to think that Oliver can also be successful in the NFL at his size.
Logic dictates Donald is rare, not that Oliver will have similar success just because they are the same size lol.

That's kind of the definition of homerism.

I absolutely get your point, but not for nothing when i was listening to Sal during Friday drive time with Bull Dog I think he said that even the Bills, or some commentators, thought the throw was a bit late by Allen.
It was late, which located it behind Jones. Still should have been caught.

Some of you are very sensitive
I'd like to say it's a growing trend due to the shift to outrage culture, but even in the 90's Bills Fans were sensitive.
Anyone have a link the Mayfiled pass? I'm too lazy to go find it.

Look all these Media types need to talk about the same old stuff. Remember Aaron Donald WAS TO SMALL to play DT as well. How is that turning out?
Ahhhh The Same People that said he was too small have to use that as their Narrative now. Quick Question what is the Size of the BEST DT in the league Aaron Donald?
He is undersized, so is Donald. Because Oliver is the same size Oliver = Donald? c'mon

No one should expect him to be the next Donald. And the summary by Cosell goes beyond, "he ain't no Aaron Donald."
But saying that his size is a concern when the best DT in football is the same size, to me, is silly.
Some Bills fans are upset because what was described is not an accurate representation of what actually happened.
Donald is quite the exception.

You're right.
6'1" 287 lb., Ed Oliver is too small to be as good as 6'1" 284 lb., Aaron Donald.
I remember when Donald came out, there were the same criticisms about size. One preseason game and Bills fans are upset that some media guy is not praising Oliver for being the next Donald...

He was watching Ed with his eyes closed....the same way he should keep his mouth.
I watched Baldy's breakdown and he basically said Oliver was stonewalled all night. I think fan reaction to anything negative about Oliver is just a bit over the top. He's undersized, and so far it shows. Lets see what happens the next game!

I used to go to the Bills website just to get news about the team, since the local coverage is all NFC North. That's when I discovered BBMB - it was operated by the Bills' organization. I really didn't have a problem with the mods there, although there was one who seemed to have a double standard about insulting other posters. (I won't mention names, but it's NOT one of the two who now post over here.) I did get a minor infraction once, for posting a link to an Onion article about Fitz. (He was a Bill then.) The article (but not the link) had the F word in it, so I got a slap on the wrist. The mod who did it was cool about it, though.
MASH was about the worst mod on BBMB, guy was simply an #######.

Well, winning playoff games just does not happen to this organization any more, either. I remember "the good old days" of Kelly, Thomas, Smith, Benett et al when the Bills were big winners despite their rowdy ways. I'll praise Beane and McDermott when their vaunted "culture" produces regular winners on the field.
I don't really think I was praising them. And yeah, I do remember the SB years. If they didn't party so much they just may have won one of those games...
-
One thing you can say about Beane and McDermott, that kind of silliness just does not happen to this organization anymore. Well almost, the last bit of it will leave when McCoy leaves.
Remember the good old days of Dareus getting stoned and drag racing? lol

Peterman is an ex-Bill who played historically bad football while he was here. I've read the above posts, and don't see anything worthy of clutching your pearls. Bad players get discussed on these boards all the time, and Peterman literally set records for bad football. Why on Earth should he be off limits?
Probably because he's religious. I can't think of another reason.
