nope. Id rather have my GM have balls of steel. Without them balls, who knows if josh Allen is our qb.

Just don't get Colemans magnetic hands near them.

I 100% admit Coleman was not even on my radar at 33. This is because I was conditioned by months of endless listening to WGR and all the "draft experts" basically removing him from 1st/2nd round contention. I would have bet any money Franklin would have been the pick. This is because I know jack ***** about scouting. I get my info second hand from what I listen to and 99.99% of this board does as well. To whine and cry that beane and the bills have no ***** idea what they are doing is absolutely insane to me. the fools on the radio and twitter make you think if a wr does not run a 4.3 40 time they are worthless athletes. not saying this pick will work out but looking at it now Coleman seems like a fine young man who's tape shows an absolute baller that took over games. his upside is big. excited for him and for this offense next year. go bills

I'm so glad I don't listen to wgr anymore, lived in Buffalo for 50 years and now I'm in Florida, cliche I know, I just do what the wifey tells me. As for Coleman I had him in the top half of second, in fact I made several mocks trading back into the early 2nd to pick him to go along with AD, Mcconkey, Mitchell at 28, so as to have balance with skill sets

Not one person who posts in here or has ever posts in here knows a damn thing.

    Not one.

Excuse me, but I know lots of things. The sun rises in the West and sets in the east, Josh Allen is the worst QB in the league and at noon today I'm gonna have some sippers and watch beans f*#k up the rest of the draft while I post idiotic stuff on this board, so there🤪

Its fine if its not your bag but its nothing like soccer.   Soccer is a group of men passing the ball back and forth and not scoring.   Basketball is a bunch of men passing the ball back and forth and scoring every couple of seconds.   Soccer and baseball, that I get.

    I concede.

I am no expert. But drafting a guy that slow who can’t separate or win versus press is crazy to me.

Out of all the videos you may or may not have watched, exactly how many teams tried to press him ?

Ive watched Coleman at Michigan and FSU.....

The kid has immeasurable tangibles that fit right in with our roster.......he's big, athletic, his hands are ball magnets, he's physical and can be a mismatch nightmare anywhere on the field.

Don't let the combine fool you.......yes, his 40 time was slow, however, he had the best time in the gauntlet and the pass-arounds from all other WR's there. Think about that, you pancake eating mother-****ers.

    I like the pick.

I can see what our coaching staff is trying to put together here. I didn't see it recently, but i'm seeing the roster they are trying to build and the philosophy behind it.

Regardless of what our armchair GM's on these boards think, it was a good pick.

    I have spoken.

    I'll take cheesy scram please

I feel blessed that we are getting all this expert, inside  knowledge about how Beane is making bad decisions on who to select in this draft. We have people on this board that absolutely know which players will be successful and which ones won't.  A true gift for sure.

Are you talking smack about my crystal ball, don't make me shine it up.

  6. The things that worries me about Franklin is the strong winds in Buffalo especially in winter. Ice cycles crack.

I was talking about Franklin dropping, not Coleman.

    Oh my bad, carry on.

The combine results were indicative of a lack of preparation which demonstrates a poor work ethic.

If that were true than why was he the fastest through the gauntlet. Js

When I was in my 20s and 30s I loved the Draft.  Couldn't get enough content or coverage.   Would get upset about picks, talk about reaches and value picks.

In my 40s I take it for what it is.   Teams picking players that they think will fit their programs based on educated guesses.   I don't down people on this board for having opinions, because some of you really understand the game.    Bottom line is somewhere between 60-70% of the guy's taken won't be anything beyond depth.

The Draft stopped being fun when the Bills got good.   I am more than happy for that.   It also gives me more reason to trust the guy's involved in their front office.   If you want something fun to do instead of the Draft, the NBA playoffs are a great alternative.

Sorry basketball is not an option it's like soccer except you can't use your feet with lots of scoring just as soccer is like basketball except you can't use your hands with barely any scoring. "Place Snoring meme here"

I have no idea if this guy is going to be a good WR. I have seen very little of him. I just feel like we didn’t do anywhere near enough at WR. I don’t want to even attempt to fix this today. These rounds are not where you find suitable replacements. Can you get lucky? Yes. Nothing in this league is a give. And I’m not interested in just writing years off. We lost the best/2nd best WR in teen history and Davis and replaced them with basically nothing. It’s not enough. I fully  expect led us to move way up and get one of the true studs here or trade for an Ayuk/Samuel. This isn’t good enough enough now and I fear it’s too late to make a move that will change that.

1st in no way do I want either one of SFs wideouts which leads directly to 2nd we are trying to add young talent to help balance the ledger, infusing the team with the "NEXT". because the last time I checked QBs contracts are not going down anytime soon, so no to expensive veterans receivers. Time for home grown, now as to if Coleman will be any good, how can we know our judge, give the kid a couple years, before judging him. I'll bet by the second half of the season him and Josh will be doing the wink 😜 back shoulder passes.

For all the whining and bellyaching about Coleman being our first pick (I was disappointed myself) it’s time to man up and admit that none of us are draft experts…some draft analysts had Franklin going late 1st, and many of us would’ve been happy taking him at 33.  For those in here who had Franklin going 4th round, where have we erred, and why were we so wrong?

Because we don't have the same film, we don't get to talk to his coaches or teammates and we can't talk to him face to face. For all we know he could have been a nightmare interview from hell.

Feeling pretty distraught after this draft. Looking back @ Elam doesn't make it any better either. If Pegs had any clue, BB's seat would be red hot.

The handling of this years draft is nothing less than a complete and utter debacle.

If we don't win it all this year both Beane and McClappy have to go.  In fact after this draft and viewing the plan moving forward, Id be tempted to move on from both of them now. We're decidedly worse this year with all our eggs in the Coleman basket to get us over the hump. What a joke.

1 player does not a football team make. Unless according to everyone his names Josh Allen. A team like football needs to work like a symphony you need all kinds of different instruments to make that beautiful music, especially if they're doing Pink Floyd songs.

  12. The argument that we gave KC what they wanted is irrational, absurd, and illogical. Were we suppose to take Worthy just to stop the evil empire, is that who you wanted. Do you think KCs GM told Beane that's who he was taking and then laughed maniacally in the phone. And let's not forget that we should've taken RT Kingsley in the second, instead taking a great safety prospect, how stupid can we be. Then in the third we already beat them by stealing their pick (maniacally laughing). Now on the third day we must sell our souls to the draft overlord so he can tell us who KCs gonna pick so we can beat them to the punch, Even mortgaging next year's draft if need be. KC you dirty "BASTARDSSSSSSSS" we'll get you, if it's the last thing we do, we'll get you.

Have any lived up to expectations? We hit on some late rounders but it seems to a disappointing part of our draft. Hard to buy into any hype at this point. Hard to get excited about these picks.  The last guy day 1-2 pick that was everything we wanted out of him was Tre. Seems so long ago and that was Whaleys scouting staff

A GM is only as good as the scouts in the war room with him and on the road. So maybe we need to upgrade our scouts.

Position focus: Edge, RB, WR, OL, CB, possibly P

In Rd 4, I think its very possible we move up into the top 10 range.  Some team like Min, who could use an extra pick.

    Buf trades: 128, 144

    Min trades: 108

    Leaves us with 1 4th, 3 5ths, 1 6th, 1 7th.  6 picks, matching 6 positions up above (possibly we only need 5).

I think top of Rd 4 could literally be any of those positions (except P).  I could argue for WR (def some talent has slid), Edge (Mo Kamara would be a nice get), etc.

But I think the Bills really like Devonshire from Pitt, that's been linked publicly and my Steeler source confirmed that.  Steelers are also heavily interested in him.  He's a Rd5 talent IMO.  He could certainly be our new punt returner immediately.  Pitt has very good secondary coaching, they come into the NFL with a solid foundation.

I think highest valued at each of those positions listed makes most sense per round.  And I can't see us keeping all 4 5ths.  Rd 4 is ripe for a potential trade up, if another team desires additional picks.

Instead of Kamara, I'd prefer Solomon. Longer arms and bigger hands. It does make a difference.

  15. Well I'm looking forward to day 3, I think we'll move up in the 4th because of the players who are still there, plus I think there's still some really good players that'll be there in the 5th. That and it's a sipper day for me. It'll be fun, bring the b*tching, the rational, and the absurd. It wouldn't be the draft without it all.

If we’re expecting some 3rd rd rookie to come in and be a team leader and captain in his rookie year; we have more problems than I thought.

I don't think that's what they meant, by adding these types of players, we shouldn't have any problems with them working hard and accepting the coaching, while also providing character and leadership down the road. It's a turnover league constantly refreshing what you lose. Which is an absolute must with the contracts the QBs are getting.

Bills fan in Utah here. Saw a few Utes games this year. Cole Bishop is a monster. Reminds me of Brian Dawkins as a hitter. Loves contact. Smart player with good instincts and a good athlete too.

Instincts are what make a good safety, a great safety.
