  1. Couple of weeks back I tried to watch Thursday Night Football (Broncos at Chiefs) using Twitch.

Didn't work for me when I tried - "not supported in your region" or words to that effect - using a PC and web browser.

I was in London but might be in the Netherlands (depending on work) next week when the Bills are on TNF.

Just a small warning for any international fans trying to use Twitch for the first time to see Buffalo next week.

I could try a VPN but I have never tried before, maybe some regions outside of the USA are supported?!

  2. I was unsure where to post this, my thoughts are that if the NFL wanted Jacksonville to play 2 games in London, one designated as home and then the other one as away then they needed to play the away game at Buffalo first then have the home Atlanta game as the 2nd game.

Practically I believe it wouldn't be possible because Tottenham played Liverpool on 30 September and that the Jaguars home game is always at Wembley.

This year Jacksonville has "gained" an additional home fixture. I hope this "experiment" ends this year or is significantly modified as one team gained a significant advantage.

As a European I am kind of down that a decent amount of Bills fans have negative opinions of European fixtures after this negative 2023 experience. I didn't personally attend but it was a beautiful day and the stadium was at least 85% Bills fans, it should have been an unforgettable day that lingered in the memory.

  3. I think there should be a maximum 6 players that are ST only - LS, K, P, combo KR/PR, 2x Gunners.

A player like Hines being a real backup RB plus both KR and PR is a bonus. Kumerow has played real WR snaps and can be WR #5.  Can only hope that Gilliam plays more FB on offence next year.

  4. In the CIN @ KC game, my wish is for either a lop sided beat-down or a catastrophe of similar nature to 13 seconds, not bothered as to who wins.

I want the loser to be questioning their HC, GM, offensive and defensive schemes, roster construction etc, in a similar manner to we are currently feeling but even worse considering they have made it further this season.

  5. I would like Buffalo to seriously consider Darnell Washington.

He is a Gronk sized TE  at 6 foot 7, 265lbs. The write-ups state that he excels as a run blocker.

My reason for wanting him is that so he can be a blocking TE and red zone threat whilst freeing up Knox to run routes. I would like him (Knox) to be the second read after Diggs, can Knox be a high usage TE like Kelce, Waller, Kittle, Hockenson etc?

Buffalo has shown faith in Knox and extended him, we should be looking to utilize him more as a pass catcher.

We can then also run 3 TE sets with Morris as the number 3.

  6. From the posts in the thread, PFF seems to give Buffalo 8 picks in the 2023 draft and PFN only gives 6.

Do we have to wait for the Super Bowl to conclude to be certain of how many picks we have or is one site or both incorrect?

  7. My vote is for the wrong leg amputation!

I am in the minority, the Bengals loss was worse to me.

We sucked for 60 minutes on Sunday.

The only players that caught my eye in a positive way were Shakir, Beasley and Milano.

At home, in Buffalo weather, there was nothing but excuses and a damp squib.

At least in Houston and at KC we were in the game and had chances.

Last week we couldn't even decide that attempting the FG in the 4th quarter was the sensible thing to do being down 3 scores?

    Who gets Carr?

Not entirely sure. Carr has played in California or Nevada all his collegiate and professional career.

I don't think he'd be suitable for a team with harsh weather - in my view, the best options are a West Coast, Southern or a dome team.

Thinking out loud, LA Rams - offensive guru HC and Kupp, Stafford is mid 30's and out injured. Baker Mayfield isn't the answer.

In terms of AFC East, Miami is his only real fit. McDaniel could be what he needs to resuscitate his career.

Because outside of Allen the others are just bandaids at WB for a year or two. It would be very JETSY to go out and pay a huge amount in draft capital as well as money for Lamar or Rogers. I think Lamar is done in maybe 2 years if he already having knee issues.

A lot of Buffalo fans are wondering, can we win a Super Bowl with McDermott ...

In the next two years, do you think that NE can win the AFC East with Mac Jones as QB1?

It isn't even in my top 5. It really isn't. The Bills played their worst game of the season on Sunday, they deserved to lose to a team who arguably are more talented in any event. It was disappointing, but this season stopped feeling like a potential Championship run weeks ago to me. Too beaten up with injuries, especially on defense. Hyde and Von done for the year, Ed Oliver playing with more strapping than an Egyptian mummy, Jordan Poyer playing with a torn knee, Tre White looking like a shadow of his former pre-ACL self. And just not enough offensive talent to overcome, which some of us worried about going into the year. And that is without factoring in the adversity of the storms, Damar Hamlin and everything else.

I didn't find Sunday painful. Disappointing, but not painful. Last season was painful because that still felt like a Championship chance at the point it ended. This didn't to me. Where we go next is interesting. The Bills have focussed the last two off-seasons on running things back, on keeping the band together, on the "one more heave" approach. That option isn't really available to them this offseason. There is going to be more roster turnover than there has been since probably 2019. The regime needs a good offseason and it needs to show progress in some of its weaknesses next year. The window is open a little narrower the next two years (until the cap explosion comes and Josh suddenly looks like an absolute bargain). The pressure is on this regime, no question. But the Bills are not gonna be reactionary following this loss and nor should they be.

There is no doubt that the Bills deserved the loss on Sunday.

The Bengals were also down their number 1 CB, down 3 OL and their DE's were playing banged up. Their OL stood up, why do we have excuses on the injury front and they don't? We were down more players for sure but our opponent still had substantial injury issues and played a great game. They had 1 week to patch up their OL on the fly, Hyde/Miller as a combination have been unavailable since November.

Do you really believe that McDermott can lead us to a Super Bowl? If so, what is it based on? I wish it to happen - the only way I can foresee it is if Josh plays like the previous postseason with a minimal margin for error.

Do you believe that the current defensive scheme as it is run now can defeat the Bengals or the Chiefs in the postseason?

I will always support the team. The fact that we were never really in with a shot to win the game at any point on Sunday is what gets me down for now.

  11. The most painful season in my ten years of being a Buffalo Bills fan.

We giggle at the other AFC East teams, who do you have at QB? Mac Jones, Tua, the Zach/Mike/Joe combo - we have an undisputed top 5 guy, after so many years of waiting and we have a weak OL, an underutilized TE on a big $ contract, a true top 5 WR and virtually nothing else in addition to a seemingly impatient OC.

Speaking only about the four Divisional round games, the teams that ran the ball for the most yards won. Jacksonville was doing well with Etienne and Hasty and they suddenly stopped running.

We had the USA radio broadcast on the BBC here in England. Mike Mayock was tipping plays - Hurst was wide open 2 seconds before he caught the TD. The pass to Chase where he was 1 on 1 with Tre. The British studio analyst (Darren Fletcher) was saying the "Buffalo Bills have a team that is not in the image of the city of Buffalo". Ouch.

We draft Elam, Cook and Shakir and we don't give them the opportunity? Are we so flooded with talent for them to sit on the bench?

I always feel that McDermott is disingenuous when speaking, he is always hiding behind reviewing the tape or his spirituality. If you mess up, own it. Beane appears genuine and I still have more faith in him compared to McDermott.

No change at either OC or DC would indicate that ownership is content with the season and how it ended.

  12. I am currently in England.

Is there any app that can access WGR without VPN etc? Website is completely blocked.

I used to use the Simple Radio app but WGR has disappeared in the last 10 days and I tried Tune-In but it seems you have to pay a subscription for that.

Are there any other local radio stations that has Bills content or does WGR have a monopoly of sorts?

    Any advice gratefully received.

  13. Outcome today feels a lot worse compared to the Houston game - we got humiliated to the same level as Tampa last Monday.

Why cannot we have a game plan to play in snow? We heard that the Bengals are so pass happy etc - look what happened Mixon and Perine produced. Perine was, it seems, dragging 10 guys with him and always falling forwards.

We could not tackle. Tre got scorched today. Could not stop the run. Didn't attempt the field goal when we should have in the 4th quarter.

A start to finish disaster, unfortunately.

We can cope with the regular season, win 10 plus games but fall against the elite teams.

People were pining for the 1 seed and we don't have a team that excels in those conditions.

I give credit to the Bengals, they came to play and were almost flawless.

First step - fix the offensive line - out top 5 got outplayed by the Bengals backups. Josh undisputably has the worst OL compared to Burrow/Mahomes.

Blessings to all Buffalo fans from Europe.

  14. We are undoubtedly a better team with Poyer on the field.

Having said that his salary and contract status seems to crop up regularly as a discussion topic in comparison to every other Buffalo Bills player.

Best case scenario with him I think is for the Bills to win a Super Bowl this year and he can leave to potentially grab a better deal elsewhere.

Similar to what Von did last year, win a Super Bowl and "seek a new challenge".

  15. Looking at the flow charts I would like the route going NE loss - MIA loss - PIT loss and then circling back that NE becomes the 7th seed.

I am wary of PIT, it will be a super emotional game should it happen with the links to Damar, Tomlin etc - can be both and advantage and a detriment.

I get the feeling that NE will be easier to deal with, then MIA and then PIT. Whoever Buffalo faces I will be confident, NE again in 7 days seems like the most appealing route.

  16. In the first match up between these teams the Raiders missed some golden chances.

There were at least two throws that Carr made that hit Mack Collins between the 1 and the 0 on his jersey and he barely got a hand on the ball. Such are the margins any given Sunday.

The Raiders can definitely win this game. I wish that the potential milestones for Jacobs and Adams can spur the offense and at the very least give KC a hard, physical game. Stidham will surely be motivated for another 300 plus yard passing game.

  17. So glad hear of the improvements to Damar's health. Long may these improvements continue.

I would recommend everyone to watch the 50 minute Zoom call posted earlier in the thread by the two Cincinnati doctors and the medical liaison. It is well worth your time. I watched it all kind of in awe.

The two Doctors who called in seemed to embarrass themselves by attempting to be smart and ask such invasive questions in complete contrast Dr Pritt and Dr Knight.

Damar is in great hands and it looks like he will receive great on-going care and treatment.

The on field medical personnel at Paycor stadium have done an amazing job - Bills/Bengals/Independent all worked together in harmony. All credit to them.
