The left’s lack of self awareness is astonishing

Worth noting - this is before Trump won - it’s worse now

I'm with you, the far left is nuts.  Unfortunately, the far right has convinced you that they are THE problem.  The problem is the oligarchs and them spitting bullets of mind control,...(Volbeat Counting Days) convincing you they are not the REAL problem. Please, slowly convince yourself that you're brave enough to get off the maga horse, and walk on over to the center, where the sane, thinking, REAL patriots are waiting.

I respect your hope - truly. But I’m far less optimistic. These people have been programmed for decades, from Rush to Tucker, soaked in Fox News, and now fed by algorithm-driven rage and Russian-backed propaganda. That wiring doesn’t unravel easily.

Yes, there’s a line for everyone but what worries me is how far they’ll keep moving it. And by the time some reach their so-called breaking point, the damage will already be done.

We might want the same things deep down, but the path they’re on is driven by grievance, not goals. And when this particular grift runs out of steam, they’ll just hitch their loyalty to the next manufactured enemy or techno-messiah probably whatever narrative their programmers decide sells best next week.

Hope is good. I’m just not sure it’s enough anymore.

    They are infected.

I guess I was saying there's plenty of hope that maga will be quenched, but as you and I said, they will hitch their horse to another similar wagon.  As for the grift, they let the manufacturers leave, and many rightly so, but the REAL grift was handing even more money to the 1% that sent manufacturing away to bring it back.  I need to stop calling them stupid, even though they are, and they're already convinced you're worse than Satan.  If I can chip away at a poster here, a Facebook commenter there, I can maybe make a difference, before the fascist state sends me somewhere really nasty, that sets an example for other "free Americans" that might have a similar opinion.  If they're doing it to naturalized citizens, YOU'RE NEXT.  I welcome it.  Every time a fascist government tries to stop free speech, is another example of them showing who they truly are.  I'm ready, willing and able to be that patriot.

If it was the 1960's, and the rainbow hand was black, what would that make you?  The lack of self-realization, that unjustified justifications have done to your brains, is astounding.  No really, the stupidity amazes me a little more each and every single day.

Who'd have thought that a search for a better life would end you up at an El Salvadoran gulag or Alligator Alcatraz, while numerous trips to Epstein Island got you a huge tax cut.  It's about time the people, that have been screaming "wake up", actually wake up themselves.

They’re infected and sadly, there’s no cure.

They’ll defend the indefensible because their entire identity is wrapped up in the game.

The real tragedy is they’re too far gone to see it, and they’ll always be on the losing end.

I'm a little more hopeful.  There's a line for everyone, and while they will seemingly endlessly extend that line, everyone has their breaking point.  In reality, we mostly want the same things.  The diatribe, that they've been convinced they must adhere to, could also be their own downfall.  At some point, you just run out of racetrack.  Then they will support the next group of lies and misinformation, probably the one Elon is concocting at the moment.

One of the ones I've already seen is they're too afraid of Killary.  The maggat brain really is about as intelligent as the literal maggot brain.  If only we could draw them back into the middle and ACTUALLY take on our corrupt government head on.  They're still too busy celebrating, "winning" tax cuts for the wealthy, cutting aid to the lazy, DOGE cuts that will in reality cost us 5 fold, and the fact no shemale will ever win the high school javelin throwing contest.  If there's an antidote for maga, hopefully it's the fact they can admit they've been supporting concealing pedophilia for centuries.  Oh, and a MASSIVE shout out to the originator of this thread, that is surely is concocting the most absurd, ridiculous explanation for this on the other site.  The guy is and always will be the biggest loser, with NC doing his best to try to steal that title from him.

Friend of mine went to SC.  Said he's a monster DT and we'll love him.  Constantly in the back field and scouts are dumb for not getting him in the first round.  He thinks he'll be a 10 year starter.

He will be staring over Oliver, or even alongside?  It's possible, but not every play is speed and timing backed with power into the OL.  Sometimes they have big guys that push you around.

Not undersized... maybe bit under weight... at 6'4"... I was expecting a 6'1" guy when you said that... guy could easily put on another 20-40 lbs and yet he is athletic.. we will see if trade makes sense if Bean can use some of those lower pics to move up again.

He don't look like a 'bulk up' guy.  Looks like beat ya with speed, and too strong for you to do anything about it guy.  A clever DC could make it lethal, because Oliver can do the same.  If I thought Bobby could do this, I'd be super happy. Talking myself off the ledge.

The trade in isolation is fine.

The pick in isolation is fine.

The two together is where the question lies.

Basically, Daquan goes in to get roasted, then they bring in smaller pass rushers to give him a breather.  We're now forced into BAP at DT real soon.

What other DTs would you want?  Collins is the only guy left that anyone could make a case for imo….. and he’s a terrible pass rusher.  If we’re going to draft someone strictly to plug the run, with no pass rush ability, I’d rather take them with a later pick

But that means forcing the next pick, and that's basically your draft.

Moved up 15 picks in 2nd and moved down 10 picks from 2nd to third

for a 4th and received a 7th that doesn’t seem like that bad

Yeah, it's nothing to sweat.  Even if he wasn't 'your guy' we didn't give up that much.

Take a 1T in the 3rd and I’m good with it

Then this guy is just gravy.  There were impact players available.  I think Ed actually had some 1T possibility coming in. This guy? I dunno I guess I just don't trust Beane with choosing DT.  Don't hate it, but..
