  1. I am very dissapointed in our offensive output as is everyone else on this board. There are larger issues that need to be solved to get the offense moving consistently game in and game out. HOWEVER, we were three or four plays away from having a completely different conversation today. Below are a couple thoughts that give me a lot of optimism moving forwards- 1) Edmunds showed up BIG as did Milano. This pair is going to continue to improve and I thought this might have been one of Edmunds best games (outside of the first drive). The defense is figuring things out slowly. Cleveland did have the game winning drive, but teams are going to score points in this league. Holding any team under 20 is a win. 2) Dawson Knox played a great game as well. He has a lot of speed and seems to get open often which is a good sign going forwards. 3) Robert Foster sighting. He was targeted a couple times and had a nice reception- hopefully we will see more of that. 4) Singletary, although used sparingly, continues to prove that his yards per touch average is not a fluke. He doesn't get pushed backwards by tacklers either which has been surprising. He always seems to push through the line and solo tacklers to pick up a few extra yards. Offense needs to put together a couple good games and all will be right with the world. Hopefully Josh will hit a deep ball to Foster or Brown against Miami to give him some confidence going forwards. If Knox catches the pass on the first drive and the pass to Singletary isn't tipped on the last drive, I think we win and we can address the challenges optimistically. With that said, the offense would have had a bad performance even if we won and that needs to change if we are going to win games against quality opponents down the stretch. For what its worth.....
  2. I think a lot of people are taking their frustration about the offense and projecting it onto the team as a whole. The defense is playing very very well. The run defense has been a little rough the last few games, but aside from the first drive yesterday, the defense is playing lights out. If we were putting 24-27 points on he board and 7-2, no one would be nit picking the defense.
  3. Again, exactly my point. Unlike the Patriots or 49ers or Rams who think they can win it this year. He is being more conservative and not putting all our chips on the table this year. I don't think we are that far away and that an AJ Green and legit run stopping DT could put us in contention to win the AFC. Beane knows what he is doing and I am definitely a fan and want to win now, but I understand his approach. Sorry if that didnt come off in the original post.
  4. That was exactly my point ( said differently). This isn't the year and it is clear now. Could we improve internally and still win a game in the playoffs? Definitely. Have we been exposed two weeks in a row that we can't stop the run up the middle? Yes!
  5. If they are rentals I agree. Draft capital doesn't always turn into solid players. If we didn't think we could sign Green long term I get it. If we could have, but wouldnt give up a 1st for him then I think its a dumb move. (Aside from Cincy being stupid and not trading him anyways. I mean a 6th for a player that is walking after this year is better than nothing). Maybe Tampa wouldn't have taken a 1st for Mike Evans, but do you think it might have leaked the Bills were willing to offer a first for him? I am just shocked there wasn't a single DT out there that we could trade for.
  6. Sometimes you have to overspend and take a risk. I get what Beane is doing and like I said I will trust the process. Just weird that other teams (not this particular draft deadline) but teams like the Rams with Ramsey, Cowboys with Cooper, New England with Sonu are willing to take risks. I do not know what went on behind closed doors, but its hard to imagine we couldnt have traded for SOMEONE that could help our team in a position of need. I will stay positive and hope we can stop the run this week.
  7. Weakest the AFC has been in a long time. We have a 5-2 record staring 8-2 in the face. Patriots play a bunch of tough games down the stretch, but Beane decided not to risk our future on a small window of time. He is clearly saying this isn't our year. We need one more solid draft, and clear evidence Josh is our guy. New England and San Fran made trades. The two best teams in the league traded assets to win now. New England gave up a high draft pick for Sonu because they feel confident they have a shot to win it all this year. Beane clearly doesn't think that. Disappointing, yet understandable. Gag...gag.....gonna trust the process for another year.
  8. The Josh Norman trade is interesting. McDermott got the most out of him and knows his strengths. I think Wallace has been pretty good, but couldn't hurt as a depth play, unless Norman really has lost more than a few steps.
  9. I really want us to go big for a game changing piece. Have a feeling that we wont do anything. As fans we want to win right now, but Beane cares about 3 years from now. We need really 2 or 3 major pieces to challenge the best teams in the league. He wont fill all of those through FA.
  10. Who on this thread has ever deleted an IG photo days or weeks after posting it? Ive never known anyone to do that unless it’s of an EX. Not sure it’s an overreaction and the speculation is wild
  11. Before you kick me out just know this is my son and I wouldn’t troll
  12. What is to explain? We know each other in real life and RVABills hit me up with a text and we were freaking out.
  13. Longtime observer, first time posting. Thought this was newsworthy and wanted to contribute. Tre is my favorite defensive player.
  14. LeSean McCoy posting “what” on his most recent pic adds legitimacy to this conspiracy.
  15. Something strange is going on. Everyone loved Tre from what I could tell. When can trades happen? Is there an agreement in principle?
