Clay is the #1 reason I get scared of the Bills spending ~80 million in the offseason. Good friggin luck with FA's.

He really fell flat this season. Should have traded him when the Eagles inquired.

I would LOVE Robbie Anderson and Quincy Enunwa to throw to isnt that sad?
Well, I wonder who Allen will have to throw to next year, and I wonder how quickly they will be labeled trash.

3 touchdowns dropped and a fumble at the 6 after another great throw but go off like a child I guess
Darnold has crap talent around him as well, somehow he's playing much better than Allen, looks like a real QB. I think too many of you are hoping for too much out of Allen. Maybe another season of 50% will bring you guys back to reality. We'll see. There is one common theme with Allen, a lot of people need to make excuses for him week in and week out.

They aren’t winning at New England
Looks like that's what McDermott told the team.

HAHA, and Houston loses in the final seconds.
Brady is on his way to another SB, lol.

too late--that ship sailed last yr. lts of people advocated it
Yeah, too late for that now. We get one more season of Allen's 50% garbage, and then we'll see what the next coach does about a QB. Allen was less than 50% today, lmao.

They can't fire him yet, he gets one more season. I expect him to be fired "black Monday" next season.

Well yeah. The eye test shows he’s better than that. But he will show improvement next year. He has to. Because if he put up those passing stats as a 2nd-3rd round pick the Bills would be drafting another QB.
Enough with this "eye test" garbage already...

Or the millions he has is making it harder to stop.

White on Blue is my least favorite Bills' uniform combo.
White on blue is the only way their uni's look good. White on white is bleh.

dude, you have to turn up your speakers.
That would make it worse

Nah, just their presentation/voices.

Maybe the iPads vs 65" TV's is Allen's way of telling his linemen they need to keep studying the playbook...

Wow those guys are hard to listen to.

What if he's at 50% next year and we're 10-4?
That would be great, but it would also be fluke-ish and unsustainable in terms of a dominant franchise for years to come.

I think the whole segment is really silly, they should just stop doing it. It was goofy enough when they did it with Rex, with McDermott it just looks like both guys are super uncomfortable.

Of course the solution is to have a better tight end. But until you do, if you want a high probability of a catch, the throw has to be better.
What you said is like saying it isn't Allen's fault when he overthrows a receiver when the receiver isn't fast enough to get to the ball.
You can only play the game with the players you have. When Clay is your tight end, you should expect those drops.
I'm very interested to see where we are at with this argument next December. I certainly hope it's not the same argument!

I don’t know. How do you feel knowing that you admitted that there were 4 drops? Whoa whoa whoa...
I feel that with better talent at WR the drops should decrease, but they will never go away, and whatever that drop differential is, it's not enough to take a 52% passer to ~65% passer.

Having a 52% completion percentage in the NFL and showing improvement in his passing are not not mutually exclusive concepts. If you do not see improvement in his passing from the beginning of this year until now, then you just do not want to see it - which, I suspect is the case.
Oh sure, I see some improvement, but he's still at 50%.
If he's still at 50% next year at this time, that is a problem no?

I wonder how the players feel about the ProBowl these days. It seems to have had more cred decades ago than it does today.

It must be all about feelings these days, else you wouldn't have such an issue simply saying "huh, I guess he's throwing the ball a bit better than I thought".
I don't follow. He was a ~50% passer in college and he's so far a ~50% passer in the NFL. So, for me to feel like he's passing the ball better than expected, the comp % would need to be higher, right? lol

I completely disagree. The SB is a team accomplishment. Could you put the GOAT on a bad team and win SBs. I think not. Could you put any of the three I mentioned on Great teams and win one. History proves it.
I'm not saying the way it is is correct, but it is the way it is For QB's anyways, they need SB victories to be in the conversation.

Just take away dropped passes, rookie. Not a hard concept.
With absolutely no regard on whether the drops were caused by bad ball placement/bad timing. By whatever means makes you feel better, it's all about feelings these days right?

Joe Flacco won a superbowl as did Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams I guess those are 3 of the all-time greats there.
That's a very silly stance. You need great stats PLUS some SB's (the more the better) to ever be considered GOAT. Just the way it is.

I think what we see on the field is systemic. It looks to me that the WR's are not coached on the fundamentals. I'm not sure adding new faces into the WR group is all of the sudden going to mean 70% completion and a bunch of wins.
