He would be more dangerous as DC of the Jets than HC of the Dolphins.
-
Probably a jaded ex-GF who wanted him to fall in the draft out of spite. I always thought it was someone close to him when he was that age and saved the tweets for future ammo.
-
No way you give up #9 for him. He's too old.

They didn't show kneeling during the anthem on TV as much.

Seems like people can't leave race out of anything...

This is bull. The Chargers have a better record than the Ravens. Is it their fault that they are in the same division with the Chiefs? They would have won any of the other 3 divisions. The Ravens won their division at 10-6 which is obviously weaker. Division winners should be guaranteed a playoff spot but seeding should still go by record
Nah, this is the same old whinnage from years back. Win your division, bottom line. The format in the NFL has been like this for a long time. Only time it really sucks is when teams go to the playoff's with a 7-9 record lol@seattleiirc.

I truly don’t understand the people that say Mayfield is as good as he’s going to get.

So he was the least accurate QB in the draft, and is now proven to be the least accurate passer in the NFL. We already knew this, just seems a bunch of Bills fans will not accept it.
50% will never get it done in the NFL.

Darnold will be in the SB short order if they land Harbaugh. He'll wear out his welcome quickly, but it will be worth it.
And we're stuck with McDumbass...

I expect them to significantly upgrade the line and add more playmakers.
They will have 100m in cap space with 10 draft picks at their disposal.
The OL is one of the hardest things to build on a team. They will need a lot of luck to go along with the money + picks to fix it completely in one offseason. IMO, it will take 2-3 offseasons to build an OL.

If it takes a GM a couple years to build an o line he should be fired. Spend the resources to build it. It has to be a priority and this off season it was not. They chose to muddle through, adding Bodine, who was suspect in Cincinnati. This offseason I expect picks and dollars to attract more accomplished o lineman.
Just because you have a lot of money to spend, doesn't mean you can fix an OL in one go. The good players actually HAVE to want to come here. And as far as the draft, you'll likely only get one starter on the OL, and he'll be a rookie. Yeah, it will take years...

Next year when they address the offensive line get a couple more weapons
Can't fix all that on one offseason.

What RB had a good season. Please tell us. And if your answer is none, tell us why that it is.
I'm not saying anyone did. Beane has to know that rebuilding an OL takes a couple years, Shady is not going to be the RB1 at that point in time, it was stupid not to trade him for a pick.

A third? If he's as washed as some on the board think why would you think they could get that much for him?
They called the Bills about him before Shady's crap season.

And you know they were offering a 3rd round pick..?
Nice to hear that McDermott is putting people in their place.
From memory, they inquired, and what I read was Beane wanted a 2nd and a 3rd, which is ridiculous. I think they prob could have gotten a 3rd from the Eagles, but that's just a guess. Looking at the situation now, any pick they got for him would have worked lol.

Should have a nice pre-season game feel to it.

Honestly I wonder if Shady was hoping to head back to Philly, and when we didn't move him he somewhat checked out.
I just don't understand what Beane was doing on that one. Just get your 3rd round pick and move forward. really asinine non-move.

I agree, it's time to be worried about him.
Yet another player they traded up for, had to have...

He would be a ~50% passer if he had WRs that can catch the ball - is that really that hard to see? Or do you just watch the stats?
Next season will be a very good test case for this theory.

But again if the receivers are crap, how can you say Josh won't look better with new receivers?
Some QB's elevate the talent around them, some do not. Allen seems to fit into the former category. We should get to find this out next season!

That's fine, but McDermott only has one more season. Then it's reset time, and Allen won't be the new regime's guy.

New faces of garbage WR's from the bottom of the barrel... Their is a reason these WR's are not on any other team.
They are in good shape in terms of the draft, and have a lot of money to spend on FA's. However, this is a little bit like trading up for Watkins to make EJ better. I just don't think it will work long term with a 50% passer.

So many positives from this game and the other ten loses, hard to find something negative
I think only losers talk about positives when perennially losing. I guess that's all they can do.

I agree with that but then what does that have to do with Allen?
He's just not a consistent passer. 12 months from now, we'll be again staring at ~50% seasonal completion even with all new faces at WR.
Josh Allen---has your opinion changed on him since draft night?

He's still 50% so I'm just waiting to see what happens with him. If he's 50% after next season, then I will be right back to where I was on draft night.
