The article took a mysterious turn at #1.
Typical fluff piece on Allen.
Potential aside, he should be 16 or 17.
Do you see how the media provides the narrative of the agenda the team is trying to accomplish. Shameful tactics.

It’s all about 2020!!!

Cousins was ALWAYS overrated.

Any “vet” who cannot practice the entire week doesn’t deserve the kind of cash he makes. He’s gone.

Good luck with the ride back unless you hang out in a lot or bar for a good while. Even IF you can make it work, I wonder what the surge pricing would be for that? I was trying to get home from a restaurant/bar 1.5 miles from my house at the same time a Braves game let out about 3 miles away. Ended up paying almost $30 for 1.5 miles because the wife refused to walk it (late at night, crossing a highway, she’s NOT the prima dona type).
I answered his question. If he wants advice on getting back, he should start a new thread. ?

Biggest improvement comes in year 2. He should be putting up Goff and Mahomes type numbers if he is truly a franchise qb.

If he isn’t a franchise qb after year 2, move on.

This is such a horrible take.
What’s so horrible about it?
Chiefs look just ok. Good teams can beat
them. Steelers are a better overall team.
Rams are the real deal. Chiefs not so much.

Mahomes just looks ok. Chiefs are not that good.
Rams vs. Steelers in the Super Bowl.

I disagree with your opinion. And I'm not spiteful. Marrone is just not a good coach, in my opinion.
I’m just saying you shouldn’t hate the guy for making a personal business decision. Try to be a bit more objective.

I must have missed Mariota sitting 5 weeks to have it heal.
He must be one tough hombre.

Haven’t met him face to face, but when I do, the first thing I’ll say to him is “I’ll have the Number 2 Value Meal with a Diet Coke...Super size it!!”
Peterman working at McDs now? That’s more his level, mentally.

His time here wasn't "cut short". He bailed. He literally took the money and ran, because he thought he was too big for the Bills and the Jets were going to give him an offer.
Lol. Still believing the Jets rumor ?

Really, how many wins do they have?
Marrone is not a good coach. The Bills won in spite of him coming in and destroying the offensive line and having a terrible offense. They won because of their defense.
Sound familiar? He's doing the same thing in Jacksonville. He is an offensive coach and always has bad offenses.
I was not mad he took his out clause in Buffalo. I was fine with it.
So spiteful.
They almost went to the Super Bowl last year. They have a ton of injuries this year.
Marrone is a great coach and was building a winner here before his time was cut short.

A good coach can turn a team around in his first full year...

You referenced a reporter as if it was gospel. It is you who is delusional. So answer the question. Do you believe everything you read?
Its similar to believing every twit out there. Everyone is a reporter now and its 98% BS.

When you quit, you are a jerk and walked away from your team. Having your time cut short implies that it was not your choice.
No it doesn’t. It implies he left before he should have. His contract was not up.
He didn’t just up and decide to quit, there was a lot going on that he did not like. He had an out and took it. If he was treated right things could have been different.
To verbally abuse the man because he made a good business decision seems crazy. Yes, it was selfish but look at what he has done in Jax. Turned that franchise around. While we continue to spin our wheels.

Are we still numero uno?

He can't wait to leave and is going to trash the Bills after he's gone, just like he trashed the Panthers.
Like they don’t deserve it. This year has been a disaster...

Cut short? He quit.
Correct,
when you quit, your time is cut short.
What’s your point?

Right...give up your dream job as an NFL QB making millions, something you’ve worked your whole life towards, bc pittsfordave of twobillsdrive wants you to. What a ridiculous thought.
Not because of me or this board. For his teammates.
Look at where he is now. What difference would it have made (monetarily) if he just quit last year? A few measly hundred of thousands of dollars is a small trade compared to sacrificing your team and entire year. Also his reputation would still be intact.
We’d be in a much better position this year if he would have just taken responsibility and quit before it was too late. Selfishly, he didn’t.
”me” players never make it, especially on McDermotts team.
His reputation will forever be remembered as Bills lore. A typical villain.

I like Doug a lot. He is the best coach we’ve had since Levy.
It is too bad his time here was cut short, he had the potential to do great things.
Doug is a great family man and a good friend.
Helen is a great Mother and wife.

Did the opening day QB (Peterman) influence WR Corps makeup?

It’s apparent both McD and Beane have issues evaluating talent. I think it was another mistake and not a strategic move.
I can’t believe this staff believed Peterman was the best out of the 3. Just crazy.
