Cook did not go about it the right way. If you want a new contract, don’t take to Twitter and don’t get your brother involved either.. Get it done with Beane behind closed doors..

This will be his last year in Buffalo. If you can get a 2nd or 3rd for him, do it..

Blah blah blah, I don’t blame the guy one bit. RB’s generally have a short lifecycle in this game.  He wants to be paid bank to maximize  his earnings.  If we don’t pay him, someone will. IMO he’s a talented player, good runner and an under utilized pass catcher.

He’ll have a solid year, & hopefully we can negotiate a deal that he and BB can be happy  with…

I watched some game reels yesterday from his time with Cleveland and there were definitely some targets he could have come down with. Here's a good sample game that I posted earlier in the thread:

Some of the targets are absolutely uncatchable, but there are a couple that a bigger more physically gifted WR would have come down with.

But we're talking about the 5th WR on the depth chart so as long as he can get some decent separation and catch passes that hit him between the numbers he'll be worth his roster spot. If Samuel ever gets injured which feels inevitable Moore can step in and do some of the same things.

About 38 seconds in had his man beat deep and made a nice adjustment on a mediocre to bad pass. Nice grab at 1:15 as well… a lot of those were uncatchable garbage.

I don’t get why people are writing him off like he is gonna be lucky to make this team. Cleveland put a tender on him that guaranteed him 3.4 million this year so he will likely make more or close to that in guaranteed money.

He is an equivalent player to John brown and Cole Beasley when they joined the bills

here are the starts for all 3 for the 4 years prior to joining the bills:

Moore-  joined bill at age 25

      200 catches 2162 yards 9tds

Beasley- joined bills at age 30

      228 catches 2355 yards 17 tds

Brown- joined bills at age 29

      167 catches 2534 yards 17 tds

Moore is just getting to his prime while brown and Beasley put up similar numbers during their prime

He’s played on two bad football teams, with bad qb play and 3 different OC’s.   He was also a   pretty good football player in the SEC.

It’ll be interesting to see what he does with a good OC and QB.

Why did we lose to Ravens?

Why do we see the most man to man in the NFL?  And that’s with Josh ***** Allen.

Dont you agree separation was a major issue last season?

What did we do to fix it?

Don’t you get sick of Josh getting pummeled after 6 seconds and no one can get open?

    Let’s not let fact get in the way of an old tired argument;

In 2024, the Buffalo Bills' passing offense ranked 9th out of 32 teams in the NFL with an average of 227.9 passing yards per game. Oh and 2nd in points.  They were top 10 in pass rush and points.

The Bills offense wasn’t the problem!

    cautiously optimistic.

tj sanders is exciting - is he just a taller Ed Oliver ?

Walker - is he just Jordan Phillips but w a back injury - a pars defect isn’t something that “heals”

Landon - man I hope he turns into maxx crosby. But he feels at worse - a carbon copy of Groot and AJE. Only had 6.5 sacks last year ….. would like to see more finish ….

What as the system and how was he being utilized?  Need to do a little research there!

    The Athletic: Team Summary

Favorite pick: Landon Jackson, Edge, Arkansas

"Had the Bills drafted Jackson in Round 1, I don't think anyone would have batted an eye. Despite being high cut and stiff, Jackson's combination of explosiveness and raw power will keep him in the league for a long time. His play style and motor fit the mold of what Buffalo wants on its defensive line, and he could be a future starter with Joey Bosa and AJ Epenesa set to be free agents after the 2025 season." — Dane Brugler

Day 3 pick who could surprise: Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

The Bills whiffed at cornerback in the first round of the 2022 draft (Kaiir Elam) but hit a home run in the sixth (Christian Benford). Though I don't think Maxwell Hairston will be a bust, it wouldn't be a shock if history repeated itself with this year's sixth-round corner outplaying expectations. At 6-1, 185, Strong is a smooth cover man and posted one of the best three-cone times (6.56) in the entire class." — Dane Brugler

I agree,  LJ’s  my favorite pick.  Love his motor, you can’t teach desire and enthusiasm.  Fortunately he has all the tools to boot!

He’s amassed 97 pressures, 15 sacks, and 70 stops in 3 years playing EVERYWHERE—from nose tackle to edge rusher.

This guy is playing in arguably the best conference in country and making plays in the backfield, spinning out of multiple blocks getting to the qb and making tackles down the line.  He has some ability instinct speed & athleticism.  Work on conditioning technique and pick your spots.   I’m willing to give him a chance. That combo of size and athleticism isn’t common but I agree he is a developmental talent.

Listen to his opinion on Walker (1:07:55 in the video).

Again, the more I watched & read on him, the more I dislike this pick. I don't dislike the player, but it's rare to hear someone say "he's just not good" about a prospect overall. He's big, and that's about it.

  9. I see what and why they did what they did; it’s not rocket science opposing qbs are getting too much time and come

3rd down / getting off the field is an issue .

The Bills  sack rate and pressure rate fall below the league average. I believe they rank 21st in sacks and 19th in pressure rate.

Pressure metric; The Bills' pressure rate is below average, they aren't consistently putting pressure on opposing QBs.

Sack metric:  The Bills' sack rate is also below average, indicating they aren't consistently getting to the quarterback for sacks.

One other area of concern lingering from the regular season was their third-down defense. Only three teams (Carolina, Atlanta, Indianapolis) in the NFL were worse in the regular season than the Bills,

We surely threw a lot of bodies at the problem (fa & draft).  I’ll give it a solid B and stay tuned to see if it worked.

Too much redundancy.  1 edge 1 dt 1 cb should have been it….overkill.  Should have grabbed a speed wr, s or lb and te and called it a day.
