Leave poor Nate alone. Tyrod spent the better part of his Bills career never throwing the ball at all! ;)

Neither player was handled well by the Bills. Tyrod should have been given those two road games at San Diego and KC and then the Pats game.  If he just kept being Tyrod he should have been replaced in a softer spot like at home against the Colts. Who gives  a rookie his first start in a game on the road against the #3 defense in the NFL. Insane.

Where is the “he’s obviously got to go, but we need a better QB first” option?

This is just setting up polar extremes doing their thing, again. .....

I know. Just curious if it is 50-50 supporters and haters or something like 80-20 one way or the other. It is hard to tell if he is really hated or if it is just a few loud people and the national media. I don't think the Bills fans are as down on him as people say.

I do think he is inactive this week and retires on MON.

You may be right. Why on earth would you risk your health for a 2-6 team with no offensive line. The Bills should put him on IR and pay him and let him go out with what was an ok Monday Night effort.

Nah but he was on a team, practicing, 10 months ago. He played in a game in January 2018. Just doesn’t look like he’s lifted a weight since then.

He likely thought he would mentor and hold a clipboard and maybe come in and play a down or two. No way he signed up for two brutal beatings.

I guess no one saw the articles and tweets saying that the players didnt want peterman to play.....Cant lose the room.  Once that happens, its over!

I saw articles and tweets saying Josh Gordon would be benched for 1st quarter against Bill's too. Fake. Idiots just make up these fake stories for likes and clicks.

You are right.  It is the Nate Peterman era.  He will lead us to where we want to go.

I didn't say he started against the Colts, but he finished the game in more ways than one.

If you are a Peterman. Great.  But why are you so angry?

Again, he didn't play against the Colts. Are you talking about the Texans where he threw a TD and 2 picks after he came in and played behind a line that got Allen knocked out after he threw zero touchdowns?

And I am not angry, I just am annoyed Bill's fans listen to these idiot national reporters that act like the Bill's line and receivers are not an issue and it is all Peterman. They lost the last two games and our QB turned the ball over SIX times with a pick 6 and had no touchdowns. His name wasn't Peterman.

It should have been over after two weeks ago when he gave up the game to the Colts.

All we can do is be huge Peterman fans on Sunday,  then hold the door after the game and wish nate all the best in his new business career selling Amway.  Once all our qb 's are back, there is no reason to keep Nate Pick 6, Peterman.

First, he didn't play against the Colts. It was Derek Anderson who had 4 turnovers and no touchdowns in a 37-5 loss.

Second, when Peterman did start against the Colts in 2017, the Bills won and he was 5 of 10 for 57 yards with a TD and no interceptions. Yes, the Bills have won when Peterman started. In fact they are 1-0 at home when he starts.

Just as correct, doctors should not let the patients run the asylum, coaches should not let the sports media and knucklehead Monday morning football expert wannabes set the lineup. Peterman should have been the starting QB against the Colts and Patriots.

Agreed. Peterman should have been QB against Colts and Patriots. Anderson wasn't in shape and didn't know the playbook.

What did McDermott get by playing Anderson? An injured quarterback who has 6 turnovers and no touchdowns against two of the worst defenses in the NFL. They were outscored 62-11.

And guess what, Peterman is starting again.

I have no idea what I’m talking about?

Nothing you say can change history. He is the worse in history.

Defending this guy is just foolish and silly.

He isn't the worst in history. You listen to too many idiots in the national media. Guys like Randy Fasani have worse career ratings. The media just lies.  I posted his home game stats in the first post in this thread. They are fine. Stop believing idiots and their made up narratives.

What’s insane is putting the worse player in the history of the nfl in the game. It won’t happen.

You have to give McD the benefit of the doubt, he’s not an moron. He has a plan. And Nate can’t be part of it.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Peterman played just TWO awful games. Both on the road. One as a rookie against the #3 defense in the NFL and one as a second year QB against the #1 defense in the NFL. He was fine against the Texans. He gave the Defense a lead. The fact he put up the only Bill's passing TD in last 23 quarters and he did it trailing by a few points in a close game shows he can play.

Your optimism for him has no foundation in reality.  The Bears are a top five defense that pressures QBs heavily and leads the league in interceptions.  Should he put up another stinker that will finally be his death knell as a Buffalo Bill.  Fifth round picks don't usually get this many chances after this many rotten performances. He's already gotten more chances than deserved.

He plays well at home. Maybe he gets a win here and gets some confidence and takes it on the road for the Jets. He started against the #1 and #3 defenses in the NFL on the road. Even great quarterbacks would struggle in those spots.

Read the rest of this board, dude. A group of people on here aren't reserved to the fact that our QB3 is playing. They're relieved he finally gets to prove (for the 5th time) that he belongs in on the team.

He belongs. He has been asked to start two road games against the #1 and #3 defenses in the NFL. Not easy for a veteran, let alone a rookie or 2nd year QB. It is a question of whether he is a future backup or the third guy on roster. He isn't going anywhere. He gets paid virtually nothing which frees up money for others on roster.

i'm so perplexed by the people that continually want peterman (a QB we drafted in the 5th rd. and have since drafted another QB in the 1st) to redeem himself. why? why aren't you over him? what has he done at all to make you think that he's good? why do you think he needs redemption? and from whom?

Want? How about supporting the ONLY healthy quarterback we have. He is QB3. QB1 and QB2 are hurt. There is nobody else.

  13. 3 minutes ago, PittsforDave said:

    I can assure everyone.

There is zero chance Peterman sees the field.  Zero. No way.

    He will not play.

Peterman is starting. They aren't putting a 35 year old guy coming off a concussion on the field. It is a PR nightmare if he gets hurt, not to mention insane. This bad line could literally get him killed. Anderson will be out through the bye. You don't play games with a guys health when he did you a favor coming out of retirement to mentor your QB.
