  1. Demarcus Robinson - what happened after his week 2 172 yard game?...still young, sitting behind 3 good receivers, wouldn't cost much to try out.

A.J. Green - still has a few years left in the tank...true #1 WR...1.5 seasons of time off to come in fresh

Breshard Perriman - 645 yards and 6 TD's sitting behind 2 1K+ yard receivers in TB...so far hasn't shown to be the rd1 guy but I'd give him a shot with Allen slinging the ball

I haven’t been following the draft class too closely, but in your opinion, is there a DE that would be available around pick 22, that would be better than say, Trent Murphy?

In my humble opinion, we need playmakers and players who can take over games. (Especially at the positions that were discussing) Yes, they CAN be found later, often takes a bit of luck, but those players are typically found in the top half of the draft.

Also, I’d be weary of taking a LB that high in the draft when it appears that we already have our 3 down LB’s in TE and MM. Is it wise to spend a 1st on a position that may only see 35-40% of the defensive snaps?

I've seen mocks that have Bills taking IDL in rd 1 or 2 and this same thought comes to me...H. Phillips and Oliver are the starters next year, no need to take an IDL until later or at all maybe...I still want to see what Vosean Joseph brings before I'd go rd 1 or 2 on a LB, especially since we play nickel a lot...there is no Lorenzo clones in the draft, he is going to be very hard to replace with just 1 guy.

    Thanks for agreeing with me...

You are asking us to discuss the merits of two hypothetical situations that are both  extreme when we have no idea what wide receivers are signed in free agency and what other needs  the team will have at that time..to say this is difficult is an understatement..

not trying to argue with you here cuz I understand what your saying, but all you really need to do is just pretend for a min that FA is done and what we have is what we have and just pick the guys you think we need most or you like the best...it's that simple :)

I appreciate the thoughts and details.

The only philosophical part I disagree with you on is that none of your proposed free agents are consistently above average "difference makers."

Your proposed salary for those 6 free agents is about 37 million. Sure...these 6 would improve depth and fill spots, but I would rather get 3 free agents with that 37 million or a little more that are younger, more upside, or more proven that are plug-n-play starters/upgrades for a similiar amount of money.

Get me any 3 of Henry, Hooper, Bulaga, Conklin, Armstead, Ngaouke, Green or whomever the Bills feel are top tier free agents at the RB/RT/WR/TE/DE, and I believe that money will have been better and more intentionally spent for the success of the Bills.

I agree and I don't see Beane going after 5 or 8 free agents this year like he did last year...maybe 3 this year...I'd like to keep Shaq and go after Ngaouke and draft a replacement for Hughes...Hughes is 31 and only has 2 years left on his contract w/ a potential out clause after the 2020 season...so it would look like - DE: Hughes, Ngaouke, Lawson, Murphy, Johnson ... Murphy would be my guy out if they draft a good DE this draft....also I feel they should re-sign Jordan Phillips...McD's defense has to have 4 guys that can rush so the rest can do their jobs

front four : Ngaouke - Phillips - Oliver - Hughes

LBers:              Milano - Edmunds - Joseph

Being completely blind in one eye, it doesnt matter if you were born with it or if it came later in life...you have no depth perception.  If you throw me a football from 20 yards away I'll have no problem catching it, but if you soft toss one to me from a few feet away I'll have great difficulty judging it well enough to catch it.

how long have you been blind in that one eye?...how well can you see with your good eye (do you wear glasses)?...Ive been blind in my left eye since I was 12 and have no problem seeing the ball where it is (my agility to actually catch it might not be great though..lol)...though lately Ive been having problems reading up close, might be time to check and see if I need reading glasses :)

I do have to say that I'm a bit amazed at how many of us are blind in 1 eye...Ive only met 1 other person blind in 1 eye...I'm curious though how many of you are blind from Toxoplasmosis and Toxicara ?

  5. for me its weapons on offense and edge rushers...I like Brown and Beasley but they need another weapon at WR...not sure they keep Gore next season or if he decides to move on, so that means they need a big bruiser to compliment Singletary...on defense they need a Bosa type edge guy...dont think they'll be able to get one in the draft if they go 11-5 or better...this would be ok spot for WR though in the 1st

My prediction is that one of three things happens with Duke:

    1. He takes snaps away from Foster, not Zay Jones

    2. He gets less than 15 plays total (less than 20% of snaps)

    3. He is inactive tomorrow

As a result the posters here at TBD have a collective nuclear meltdown.

Foster is a bit banged up...went from full to limited on the injury report Friday...wouldn't surprise me to see Foster on the inactive list Sunday...I can see his snap count being dependent on 1- how often they enter red zone, 2 - whether or not a message is being sent to Zay

  7. I don't hate Jones, but I feel in his third year he isn't stepping up much...I'd be ok with him as WR 4 or 5 when they get a WR 1 next year...Jones played 62 snaps had 8 targets and only caught 2 passes for 4 yards...would have liked to see more McKenzie in there - he only got 1 rep...need more Knox tho also - 54 snaps 3/3 58 yards

  8. I'm not understanding all the posts about having to pay our own...Fitzpatrick is on a rookie deal that still has 4 years left on it plus a 5th year option...it would be 3-4 years before they had to worry about if they're gonna pay him more $$...wouldn't be any different then if they had 3 1st round picks instead of 2 that year...I'm not saying go get him I'm just confused on why anybody cares about $$ that doesn't need to be worried about for like 4 years or so or why your worried about $$ period.
