I mean, most logical fans knew they would take a step back at QB this season. I'm not sure how anyone could have been thinking playoffs... Either way, Tyrod have proven time and time again he's not good enough.

Wow, I expected a loss, but this is bush league play by the Bills.

Kind of looks like the national media is right about the Bills.

Wow -- everyone at FO thinks the Bills will suck, and they all seem to think that Allen will be terrible. We shall see.
This is why the Allen pick was so questionable, and why for probably the first time ever the fans were not cheering in the field house when a pick was made (not sure how long they have held that event)... Beane will either come out looking like a genius for selecting Allen when the football world said not to. Or, it will be a big "I told you so" from everyone. So for now, Bills fans will just have to accept the "Allen sucks" talk until he proves otherwise. That could take a season or two...

I don't even read the newspaper, or even watch local news, so don't care much about Sullivan other than I hated listening to him when he was on WGR with Schopp & Bulldog a few years ago. His attitude about pretty much everything was garbage IMO.

For me, D for both teams. Ralph was an F.

At least he's ahead of Fitzpatrick

You don't actually need to be a genius to realise signing Peyton Manning as a FA might be a good idea though....
I remember a lot of people saying it was a terrible idea, that he was washed up.

I hope the Bills go after him this upcoming year, along with oline signings.
Shady's last year is next. Gotta get someone to be the new bell cow for Allen.
You can get someone in the 3rd round, no way should the Bills pay for a high priced free agent RB. That's one position you absolutely do not go crazy for in free agency.

I believe this years Bills will be 7-9, slow start with so many tough road games, strong 2nd half
And by the looks of things the Ravens should be a few games better than the Bills. Hence the national media's viewpoint?

My own version of O'Scugnizzo's Pizza (grew up outside of Utica, NY). I'm a pizza fanatic, and since I moved away from upstate NY, I spent many years and much experimentation to reproduce the pizza I loved growing up. I make it for every 1st Bills game of the season.
Here is my recipe on PizzaMaking.com if anyone is interested...

God, I love making pizza, might have to give your recipe a try. My favorite pizza growing up in the area was Pizza Junction in North Tonawanda.

I guess, story-wise, Peterman. Also, Zay Jones.

Acquiring draft picks and then lighting them on fire. That goes for McD and Beane. They talk about draft capital and then go ahead and trade picks away.
I agree with this. The previous Sabres GM did the same thing. I'm not a fan of trading up, it's so wasteful.

Oh boy, Rich Gannon... Peterman better be on his best behavior!

Or mcd is just a coach who wants to give his rookie an more time to come along. If that’s the approach, why not let your other young qb get some development time. Maybe he becomes a great back up.
I thought if Allen showed he could deal with the terrible OL play in the Cinci game and make some plays, he was going to be the starter. For a while there, I thought it was Allen's job to lose, even though Peterman had better numbers the entire preseason.
Now I almost feel like Peterman is being put out there so Allen isn't "ruined" by not having a supporting cast.

He worked his rear off, won fairly the qb competition, outshined all other qbs in the league in preseason. and so the coach had no choice but to reward that. Wins inflates ego. If MCDermott thought Nate the Great was not the answer for this team right now, he is not going to risk the same thing happening as last year.
I'm interested to see how Peterman holds up these first 4 games. It almost seems like he's being setup to fail.

Gotta say, for the 3 years Ritchie was with the Bills, he was the perfect player. He stayed out of trouble, was a leader, gave Pro Bowl effort, and was cheap. But all good things must come to an end sooner or later. And I bet if you asked him now, he regrets the stunt he pulled and wishes the Bills would take him back.
It really does seem that the lack of a structured environment was his "downfall". Clearly there are mental health issues.

An NFL middle linebacker needs to be able to meet a ball carrier head up in the hole and stop him in his tracks on a consistent basis.
Made harder by the new helmet rule I think.

I think a lot of fans wanted the Bills to pick anyone but Allen out of the top four before the draft.
Rosen was purported to be more NFL ready, but he seems to have quite the attitude. Allen seems like a kid eager and willing to learn, I think it all depends on how well he is coached. Do the Bills have the coaching staff in place to develop a franchise QB?

How do we know he's "very good" again? He made some plays today, but he's a project at best...
