    Many of the things that have happened have, "happened before" as the Hybrid would say. The whole Pegasus story arc was left over, the addition of Boxey to the cast (although briefly), ect, ect.

     

    I personally do not believe that the nuked out planet is Earth. In the old series, the fleet made it to a planet called Terra that was very Earth-like. I think they will actually find the "real" Earth eventually...

     

     

    I think I'm ready for spoilers....time to start jumping to other websites to see what I can find.

    Speaking of which, they didn't really like the car I bought, I don't agree with their criticisms of it, and they had hardly any info on refrigerators when we went to purchase one.

     

    I find their products not worth the money.

     

    My credit union was able to provide me with invoice pricing and the like when I bought my car; combining that with emailing dealerships, getting them negotiating versus each other over the internet, and using pricing I found on ebay as a price point, I got a pretty good deal.

     

     

    Thanks for the advice, I will try emailing dealerships to get the best pricing. I wasn't too concerned about their reviews, I was more interested in their pricing services and to see if they had "Real" pricing as opposed to the invoice pricing we find on Edmunds.com.

    We are in the market for a new car and have gone to the various websites, Edmunds etc. All give invoice pricing on the car. Consumer reports offers a service that for $14 gives you the true cost of the car to the dealer, or at least that is what they claim, including all incentives, holdbacks and rebates.

     

    Has anyone tried this service and is it worth the $14.

    As it stands now the game is scheduled to start at 1pm. Does anyone think they may change the start of the game since its a west coast team to accomodate the viewers out on the west coast? The reason I ask is I'm about to book a flight to Buffalo and I'm concerned about the end time. Jetblue has a sale going on right now.

    Very funny clip, actually I think its better then the past season of the actual show.

     

    Its amazing how many real life "Italian Americans' pronounce Capicola. As an Italian, it drives me nuts. And no its not matza-rella or Moo-zarel, its Mozzarella (Moe-tza-rel-la)

    I wonder if DirecTV ever sued TW for saying things like, "A little rainstorm will knock your your sattelite image, buy cable instead!" or any of the other lies I've heard the cable companies give about Dish and DTV.  Probably... :(

    I thought the whole attraction to satellite radio, besides lack of commercials, was digitial quality sound. It sounds like you guys are saying the music quality is less than a normal FM station. That's horrible.

    I guess if you have an IPOD or listen to mp3's the audio would be ok. I don't like compressed audio and don't bother with the mp3 audio format. The music selection is great, I just wished it sounded better.

     

    PS my wife's car is factory installed and my car is line out directly to the back of my receiver, no fm modulators used.

    Can you hook up one of those to an audio rig? Is the quality of the signal significantly better? And can you get reception from inside a house/building, or do you have to have it in your car or outside?

    While you can hook it up to a home stereo, you need to have your antenna near a south facing to get a signal. In my office in NYC there are many ground repeaters for my XM and I can get the signal at my desk which is far from any window.

     

    The overal quality is not great. Heavily compressed audio on the music channels, talk radio sounds good.

     

    I only have it for talk, Opie/Anthony, I would not invest in one because of the "digital quality".

    Ok, so I've noticed this several times this season, but tonight I was able to prove this theory to myself. During the recaps they are not showing the actual performances that the idols did a few minutes earlier. My take is that they are using the dress rehearsel footage for various reasons. I just watched Spazz's recap and then backed up the tivo to the last song and it was a little different. Even in the camera spin around the judges desks are manned by others and not Randy and company. My take is that they rehearse infront of a studio audience, but keep the judges out so they give an honest opinion. I would imagine for editing purposes its easier to take the rehearsal footage and compile the recap earlier in the night then to do it as the show is airing live.

     

    Anyone else notice.

    Sorry, but companies don't want to have liabilities working on their payroll. If this guy or his family want to pursue this, it could get ugly.

     

    Any HR generalist out there that want to offer any more insight?
