I have serious issues. Im on here and other Bills News sites all day check for news on a huge trade and news on who we potentially will draft. At work i am staring at the computer all day, my co workers probably think I am doing something very important. Draft day Im going hard with Beer, Whiskey and Beer.

Cmon McBean lets make this happen.

I'm with you, but I had no idea the Jets would trade so early, seems like a good move after all. I'm waiting to get the notification that you guys traded up.

I'm not arguing against trying to get a good QB prospect, just suggesting that this year may be rough because, in the best case, they will be playing a rookie QB and a number of other rookies as well.  In worst case, they will be playing McCarron and a bunch of rookies.

It would not be horrible if they have a 6 win season while getting a rookie QB and other position players experience, but it would really hurt if they have traded away next year's #1 to see it be a top-10 pick (that is, if they could have traded this year's 22nd and kept next year's #1).

I agree, no reason to hurt the future. I think someone drops to you.

Depends on whether the Bills' favorite QB is still on the board and if the Bills love him like the Colts loved luck.

Personally, I think if the Bills move up, it will be to 4 through 10, not 2.

Makes sense, who do you think is their #1 QB? Not trying to beat a dead horse, I just like hearing opposing fan views. For me, its Rosen for the Jets. Keep Allen and Darnold away from me. I guess it's the flashbacks of Sanchez and USC.

I think top 10 is a distinct possibility for the Bills' pick next year.  There are a lot of glaring holes on this team.  If they trade several high picks to move up this year (like 12, & 22 and next year's first) to get a QB, then you have either McCarron or a rookie QB starting with little or no experience AND you still have a lot of holes, a few filled with 53, 56, 65 this year, but those are still rookies.

I think 6 wins +/-1 is about right for what to expect this season.

That is Jets fan thinking. To be honest, I have watched the Bill's over the past couple of seasons and knew that you guys were getting your stuff together. Wouldn't surprise me if you guys owned the division when Brady left. Good coach and GM in place. I need Bowles to leave and Bates to take over and I will be happy.

I think the Bills' next move is during the draft.   That means as soon as the Browns' first pick goes up, the fun starts.    Do the Giants stick, or do the Bills pick?

Do the Bill's give up the farm for #2? The Giants are going to ask a kings ransom.

I dont see it.  Maybe im wrong.  I think the NY media has a pretty good grasp on what the Jets want and are going to do.  The Giants are the true wildcard of the draft.

Of course they are the wildcard, they don't "need" a QB. All the writers for every team is doing is trying for clicks, plain and simple. The NY media is scrambling like everyone else. They know about as much as you and I know.

Probably waiting after the #1 pick is selected.

If the #1 pick is Allen, then all hell is going to break loose on here and Jets boards.

Idk how smart the Jets are.  Im not sure they are that coy.

As coy as all the other GM's, nobody is playing their cards. And if people think that GM's are going to base their picks to stop another team from getting that player, then they need a reality check.

we don't know anything more than we did 3 months ago

And it will be this way until the first card is turned in. The NFL is playing this fantastic, keeping those ratings up all year!

We know the Yankees are human and the Red Sox are from another planet.   Didn't know THAT three months ago.

    Ugh. The Sox will fizzle...

I have it on what I consider pretty good authority that Jets very much like Rosen so I don't believe he is off their board.  I posted this once before and a poster said "no you don't."  Er, okay, believe what you will.  I stand by my comment that they like him.  I have no scoop on Jets view of Mayfield and my Jets fans friends insist they love him.  If they like both Mayfield and Rosen a great deal it explains why they were comfortable going to three far in advance (likely presuming/knowing Darnold or Allen are #1).  And I have no idea whether they like Rosen or Mayfield more.  I hope they like Rosen -- my wish for the Bills is Allen and I don't want Rosen one bit.

Having said that the Rosen vs. Allen debate is greatly polarizing our fine board.  Can we settle on hoping for Baker at #5 or 6?  I have not heard much Mayfield hate.  I would be delighted and willing to let go of my largely unfounded passion for Allen.

It's a smoke screen, all this information linking the Jets to Mayfield, and barely anything about Rosen. Imo, Rosen is the Jets choice.

Mayfield to Jets is a done deal

Personally think its Allen they want.

    Darnold

    Barkley

    Mayfield

    Chubb

    Allen

Makes me sick to my stomach

I don't think Allen is the Jets first choice, Mac needs someone who doesn't need as long to start playing, by the time Allen can get in there Mac and toilet Bowles will be gone.

Still wouldn't be surprised if the Bills are in play for #2. A deal could've been worked out months/weeks ago.

Then why no trade yet? I don't think the Giants are trading out, they are hoping Darnold will be there, if not. Draft Barkley.

Goodness, gracious, all this draft talk has lured a lurker out from the weeds to join the fray.   Welcome!

Thank you sir! Like all of you I am on edge with this draft, I think it has to do with the fact that Brady may retire soon, and the team that gets the QB right this draft could be in control for years!!
