@Bob in Mich was this you? Couldn't help but notice the shirt and the dude is in Michigan. Obviously weed is prophylactic therapy for Covid - why else would this #Cult45 member be spitting on those cops?
Didn’t this guy come out and discuss this and he admitted to being a Bernie Bro but voted from Trump in the general election because Hillary was so bad?- 1

And there we go. Gun violence has killed people. Abortion does not kill a person. Case closed.
Thank you for providing the stats. It clearly shows that gun violence kills people. IMO it is no where near abortions. Agree to disagree on that point.

1. We can agree that there are a significant number of homicides arising from gun violence in this country, correct? To the extent we agree on that point, 2. the data that you seek is irrelevant. 3. Abortions do not kill people. 4. Gun violence kills people. 5. Case closed.
I've broken out my answers above by number...
1. Agree
2. Disagree...can you provide statistics?
3. Disagree...I'm assuming this is your "define person" argument
4. Agree
5. Only because you refuse to answer my question for #2
My case is closed...clearly you cannot provide any stats or just plain refuse to.

See above. You assume that abortion terminates a “person.” Under the eyes of the law, it does not. The fact remains that guns kill more people than do abortions.
I'm not assuming anything. I'm providing stats from the CDC. So again, where are you getting your stats from.

What? I'm asking where you get your stats from, not some philosophical debate.

Fake news.
But what appears to be non-fake news is that you believe that any time a woman pregnant in her first trimester has a beer or sneaks a cigarette she should be charged with a misdemeanor.
Immaterial. The fact remains that guns kill more people than do abortions.
In 2016, 623,471 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC from 48 reporting areas. The abortion rate for 2016 was 11.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 186 abortions per 1,000 live births.

Where do you get your stats from gun deaths...so I can follow you on this.

And most of those are by LE personnel or self defense.
Actually 2/3 of those are suicide. Makes you wonder if they didn’t have guns, would they still commit suicide by other means? My guess is most would- 1

In a time of crisis, I'd prefer leadership. That simply isn't in Trumps DNA.
Before World War II, Roosevelt correctly surmised that the USA would not be able to avoid the conflict. Even though the nation was isolationist, he took steps to increase our industrial base, kept allies afloat and increase our military for the inevitable time that we would be in the conflict. Roosevelt was a leader. Trump is a the buck stops anywhere but here weasel.
If I sound like I'm on both sides constantly, its because I am a conservative and see through Trump.
I don't necessarily play a doom and death card because of Trump, but the fact is, that if restriction are lifted too early, people will die. That is a simple fact. Trump should recognize that and lead his followers to an unpopular reality. This country needs a robust, testing, contact tracing and isolation policy before the country can reopen. Trump won't do that and instead tries to throw the governors under the bus.
Fair enough. Although I disagree with some of your opinions of what Trump is doing, I appreciate the respectful dialog -

Like I said. Politics. Trump does what is best for Trump. If that means embracing some form of rebellion that will lead to more death due to the Corona virus, that is fine and dandy with Trump. This is the man who said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose a single voter and that is repeatedly born out here.
Politicians being political. Go figure. You see it on both sides constantly.
I just don’t play the more doom and death because of Trump card.

Maryland has more that twice the infection rate vice Virginia. Maryland initiated restrictions earlier that Virginia. Maryland has more restrictions than Virginia. Why is Trump tweeting about Virginia instead of Maryland? Politics. Maryland has a Republican Gov, all the other states you mention have Dems. Trump is only interested in stirring his base and getting reelected. Trump cares about Trump first last and always.
It’s because in Virginia, this week, Northam passed a whole buttload of laws in line with the liberal agenda. It is political but more about trying to get VA conservatives to vote next election. At least how I see it living in VA- 1

I just hope the rest of VA outside of Fairfax County get off their rear next election. This guy is the most 2-faced politician I’ve seen. And that includes current Senators- 1

Where have I ever blamed TRump for the pandemic? This is what happens when people idolize him, they can't rationally evaluate him.
I've been saying that he/they had an opportunity to get out front when they shut down flights with China, but they didn't. They have been reactive not proactive.
Someone criticized Cuomo for bringing back SUNY students studying abroad, and fortunately he did that before Italy shut down. That is being proactive.
Yes, compared to Trump, Pence looks like a leader.
where have I idolized Trump?- 1

I'm not happy that the leader of the country, that most others look up to, is unfit for this challenge. He makes me actually like Pence.
So you blame Trump for the pandemic, yet like the person he put in charge of said pandemmic?
Makes sense ?
