And Stevenson averaged 5.0 for NE on 2.25 times the carries Cook had. And was the only RB on either team to have over 1,000 yards

Which team would you say had the better rushing attack?

NE with their backs averaging 5.0 and 4.4 YPC

    OR

BUF with their backs averaging 5.7 and 4.6 YPC

Harris had, by far, the better ol blocking for him all 4 years. Barely saw the field his rookie year and missed 30% of the last 3 years. As they say, best ability is availability.

And the 14 games he's missed over the last 3 years, is exactly 14 games more than Singletary missed. He can't help us if he can't stay on the field. That's not an opinion it's a fact. Harris also had a better line to run behind.

Better OL blocking against stacked fronts and defenses that didn’t have to respect NE’s passing game like they have to respect BUF’s.

James Cook averaged 5.7 YPC last year, but no one should try arguing that BUF had a better rushing attack.

We did not get significantly better on the ground today. Averaged the same yards per carry in a much friendlier run offense and has missed about 30% of the last 3 seasons. He's just a different type if runner.

They both were drafted the same year, Singletary has 50% more rushing yards and more than 3 times the receiving yards. Both have 20 total tds in their career. Career scrimmage yards Singletary- 4,177  Harris - 2,375. Yards pet touch Singletary - 5.0  Harris - 4.9

When it comes to YAC, BUF’s offense is friendlier for RBs. Harris had a washed up Cam Newton and noodle arm Mac Jones to take the heat off the running game…teams played the run time and time again. Defenses have to defend Josh Allen, preventing them from doing the same against Buffalo.

Cook, in his rookie year, averaged 5.7 YPC, a full yard higher than Devin. Cook and Devin share a lot of qualities, Buffalo needed a physical presence at RB to pick up the tough yards. The less we have to rely on Allen to do that, the better.

People just keep repeating this ridiculous cliche for years now.

Keeping a very good starter for under 5 million a year, on a team with extremely little depth at running back, and no proven starters, was  a no brainer to me.

And anyone who has watched the Bills closely over the last few years would never say that the running game is not that important any more.

It’s not a ridiculous cliche, it’s 100% accurate. You shouldn’t pay big money to RBs, and they aren’t valued how they used to be. That doesn’t mean Buffalo shouldn’t have kept Motor, as those are two different things.

This has be an early April Fools joke.

Averaged 0.5 catches and 3.25 yards per game last year

Over 4 seasons played in 40 out of 66 possible games, started only 4, caught all of 64 balls for 793 yards, 8.9 avg and a whole 4 TDs?  That averages out to 10 games per season, 1 start, 1.6 catches and 19.8 yards per games and a whole TD a year?   Plus 15 carries for 123 yards and 0 TDs and 9 fumbles?

Sign a 5'6" unproductive player for 2 years $13.5 million max with $5 million guaranteed?   An average of $6.75 per year?   What a waste of resources!!!

McKenzie, who is 2" taller, over the same time frame played in 61 out of 66 possible games, started 25 of them, caught 119 balls for 1137 yards, 9.6 avg, 11 TDs.  Running 36 times for 160 yards 2 TDs and 2 Fumbles.  Not to mention he's in the 2nd year of a 2 year $4.4 million deal - that had only $1.25 million guaranteed.  This year has a base of $1.75 million plus workout and roster bonuses worth $467,647

If this signing is real...   WOW!!  UGH!!!

LOL. Wow. You realize he was out injured almost all of last year, right?

Based on how he plays OG.  It’s simple.  He can’t open holes in the running game.  Slightly better in pass protection.  I watch football…..

He is significantly better at pass protection. He’s one of the Top 20 guards in pass pro.

    Be more accurate.

Not gonna lie.. signing McGovern doesn’t exactly hit when the Chiefs are dropping 20M per on a Tackle and signaling they may not be done.

Oh well… let’s see how this plays out.

    Wait...what?

    A few things:

    1. KC signed a RT to play LT to replace their starting LT who is pretty dang good.

    2. This literally JUST started. Patience.
