That's how I double checked that it was 5 years ago.

Did someone get paid to write this? I left a comment saying he was on the team 5 years ago in pre season but was never officially a Bill. Can't find the comment anywhere though

I keep thinking of other things after reading different posts. I was at the home opener against Miami after the Pegulas bought the team. The ovation that Jim Kelly got during the ceremony to honor Ralph was unreal. I don't think I've ever heard the stadium that loud for a sustained period of time. I had chills!

I punched a wall after the Music City Miracle. Boxer's fracture. My arthritis and and I were just reminiscing about it the other day.
I forgot to mention that one in my own post. I threw a desk calendar across my bedroom that day.

I wouldn't say I've I cried but I've definitely teared up.
2011- 21 point comeback against the Patriots.
Connor Gorman's Buffalo Bills "Rise and Fight Again" video on YouTube. Especially the end where it says "Thank you Ralph".
Seeing Kyle Williams celebrate with his kids in the locker room when the Bengals scored.
My sister cried towards the end of Super Bowl 27 because she was dreading going to school the next day.
I broke my vacuum cleaner when Stevie Johnson and Scott Chandler fumbled the game away against Atlanta in 2013.

I forgot that Andre Reed had a career before Jim Kelly.
I sorta remember Matt Kofler...the name, at least...he looked ok.
I remember Matt Robinson more as a NY Jet.
Did we win the Thad Lewis/Cinci game where he came back from down 14? I forget so much lol.
...but seriously, who the eff was Willie Totten?
I was at that Bills/Bengals/Thad Lewis game. The Bills lost in OT.

Jeff Saturday comes to mind.
I was going to mention him. His weight loss was probably just as fast as Wood's. Mark Schlereth is another one

They leave out the fact that Johnson started 11 games in 2000 and was the unquestioned starter going into 2001. He got hurt both years, didn't play well, and was sacked a total of 80 times in those 2 years. 80 times in 19 starts!! Alex Van Pelt even outplayed him 2001.

Whatever Pegula and his fracking empire are willing to pay 100% for, I don't care. Then I can walk away from the certain PSL attached to me ST and be happy. But hitting me up as taxpayer and then as a ST for a PSL is horse bleep. I'd give my season willingly either way on a dome.
And a dome isn't getting used in Bflo, NY for "other" things. Anyone who can sell out an NFL stadium doesn't come to Bflo. Hell most who try can't even sell out the arena.
New Era Field has been home to concerts by the Rolling Stones, One Direction, Guns n Roses, and U2 over the last couple years. And Jay Z and Beyonce will be there this summer. So the last part of your statement is absolutely inaccurate

Parella didn't go to five straight, he went to three total, but not straight. He was on the Bills for their last SB in his rookie year (1993 season/1994 SB), then the Chargers the next year when they went to the SB, and was with the Raiders for the 2002 season when they went to the SB (played in 2003).
Absolutely right. Not sure why I thought he was on all 4 Bills Super Bowl teams. Just wanted to point out that he was on the Chargers. But yeah.
-
Parella went to 5 straight too. He was on the Chargers in 94 when they lost to the 49ers. Ronnie Harmon was on that Chargers team as well. He joined them in 1990 so he was never on a Bills SB team

Did Bryce Paup ever have another good year with the Bills after his first year? I know 17.5 sacks and defensive player of the year would be tough to follow up. But I just don't remember him making a big impact after that.

Fitzpatrick to Nelson beat the Raiders, not the Patriots. Fred Jackson almost scoring on a dumpoff, the Bills kneeling on the goal line, and Rian Lindell wound up beating New England.

Nathan Peterman was the "most NFL ready" college QB last year also.
So yeah.
There's that.
Exactly what I was coming on here to point out.

Great arm and great athlete. But why did he only complete 56% of his passes in the Mountain West? I really don't watch much college football, so this is just an honest question.

They mentioned this incident in the lead up to one of Alabama's national championship games. They mentioned that because of his time in the hospital, visiting kids in the hospital was important to AJ McCarron. They went on to tell the story of McCarron befriending a young girl who was battling cancer on a trip that the Crimson Tide team took to a children's hospital shortly before the title game. She gave AJ a wristband that her family had had made with the saying "just trust" on it. He told the girl that he was going to wear the wristband during the game. True to his word, you could see that he had it on during the game. I've always respected and thought highly of AJ McCarron since seeing that story.

Elvis should have "Fight for Jesus" on his guitar for the home opener.

Matt Leinart from the Buffalo Bills marries actress Josie Loren is an actual Google headline right now

A player isn't considered an "official" member of the team if he wasn't on the regular season roster. Leinart was cut before the season started.
