    Honestly, today, not Sean McDermott.

Honestly take a look at the two Rosters and tell me that.  Give credit where credit is due.  Belichik squeezes a stone a blood comes out.  Part of coaching is what you get out of your players.

I'm not saying McDermott did a bad job, Belichik is just the GOAT.

We’re completely outcoached weekly.  It’s absolutely disgusting.  Best talent in AFC East,  but still can’t play good ball.  Time for a coaching change.

Please tell me who doesn't get out coached by Bill Belichik.  We are beat up and playing against the greatest coach of all time.

Did anyone really outcoach anyone?  Both teams were down multiple starters and had others limping around.  Rushing and passing stats were nearly identical as was turnovers.  Both teams used pretty much the same exact game plan.  Home team won by 3 which is expected when equals meet.

Compare the 2 Rosters and tell me those 2 teams are equal.  There are not many coaches BB doesn't out coach.  I think Tom Coughlin is about the only one.

The Pats - Bills content starts around 42:00.

    Some excerpts:

Burmeister: What's going on with Cam Newton?

Simms: Well, he's off. No doubt about that.

Simms argues that the Pats last week were a terrible matchup against the Niners, as the Niners are "a run-first-centric team" and Shanahan's the run genius of football. And the Patriots on defense are built to stop passing offenses. He argues Belichick tries to scare you out of runs by packing the box, but then backs away, and some of the eight guys in the box are littler guys than are usually up there and wouldn't be especially effective against the run.

Simms: "What you've got to do is go, ' Oh, OK, we're outnumbered in the box, so what, that guy's 195 pounds, that guy's 205 pounds, our right guard can block both of them with his right arm.' " And Shanahan stuck with the run.

Asked what he thought were the Pats biggest offensive problems he said offensive line injuries and post-COVID Cam hasn't been the same after missing three weeks of football. They both thought his motion is off right now. But what made me a bit worried is something Simms said about that.

Simms:  "[Newton] gets into this almost once a year his whole career. ... where his front shoulder gets way high in the air."

Goes on to say (quite a bit later) that Newton has had this problem many times before for a week or two or three and then either he or a coach figures it out and corrects it and he starts playing better again.

    ... and ...

Simms: "And now they've got Buffalo this week, and that's the perfect team for them. Again, matchups. ... The Bills can't stop the run and they can't run the ball, so they have to throw it every play. Perfect for New England. So don't be shocked if New England upset Buffalo this week."

And later, his preview of the game:

He and Florio both pick the Pats, saying the Bills strength is passing and the Pats strength is stopping the pass, and that on offense the Pats strength is running while the Bills weakness is stopping the run.

    Makes some sense.

If they're right, we'd better do a good job in the run game on both sides of the ball. Hopefully Feliciano's return will make a real difference.

Very interesting... I suspect there is more under the surface here.  He happens to "tweak" his knee in practice at the same time trade rumors are floating around about him.  It is well documented in other threads that analysts are saying he is not putting his body on the line in games, film shows him avoiding big hits etc.  Could be entirely coincidental, but I feel like he is out the door in NE.  Silent battle going on between him and Belichik right now.

Maybe they made him try to tackle someone.

I just can't see the McClap/Allen combination winning against a Belichik team even in a down year for the Patriots. And ironically this is the Pats SB/season on the line with all the pressure being on the Bills, not vice versa.

Hoodie is always  lurking....watching....analyzing game film and breaking down every singular play of his opponents. And considering he loves to take away a team's strength it will not be good for Allen since he'll bait him into throwing at Diggs being triple covered over and over which almost resulted in multiple INT's against the Jets last week.

I think the Pats jump off to a 10+ lead early and things will go south in a hurry as the Bills abandon their gameplan....

    Pats 38

    Bills 16

You have impressed again with your great wisdom.  NE QBs threw the same amount of pics their last game as JA has thrown all season.

    Rainy and nasty 21-16 Bills

    Dry field conditions 36-13 Bills

The Declaration of Independence can at best be used as a persuasive authority.  And honestly I'm not even sure how persuasive it would be.  Granted, I haven't taken Constitutional Law yet, but none of the SCOTUS cases I have read so far have cited the Declaration.

    Always happy to inform.

I am well aware of these quotes you speak of, and believe it or not they resonate greatly with me as well.  But they are in no way legally binding.  I've already addressed this I believe.

Wondered where you went. Fair enough.  The losers of a revolution are always criminals.

As far as the Supreme Court goes, you can't have the kids pick their own babysitter.  It was doomed to be a failure from the beginning.

The next revolution in this country will be the last and the end of this country and likely the complete destabilization of the world.  Unfortunately I do believe it's coming.  I've seen the AKs and piles of munitions and I'm sure there is a lot more that I don't know about.

For me it doesn't matter who gets elected.  Things won't get better for me either way.  I've already defied the odds and accomplished more than anyone I know in the same circumstances.  All this was done in spite of the government and society.

I used to be a moderate Republican, then a Libertarian and now I've lost all faith in government.  Anarchist.

I'm excited to see Feliciano back and hope he will be the much needed spark to get the running game rolling again.  There are several articles in the local media right now about him getting back to playing and there was a quote from Feliciano that stood out to me that I think paints the Bills' organization in a very good light.

"I think it's a credit to the coaches and training staff. They didn't rush me back. I was trying to get activated weeks before they did activate me," Feliciano said. "Thankfully they didn't listen to me and kept me safe."

These are the things that induce a free agent to sign with a team.  It's a small League and the word gets out. When McDermott preaches a family atmosphere in Buffalo and to come to Buffalo to become the best version of yourself, this statement from Feliciano shows that it's not all just coach speak, but something that the organization really believes in.  I read that Feliciano was really lobbying to get back on the field for the Raiders game but the Bills wouldn't let him.

Contrast this situation with the train wreck that is the Jets.  Look at how they handled the Kelechi Osemele shoulder injury situation last year.  Then how the organization handled the Bell, Darnold, and Becton injuries this year.  Night and day difference from how the Bills took care of Feliciano.

It would be easy to make the argument that the Bills had depth on the O-Line and that gave them the luxury of letting Feliciano come along slowly, but I don't believe that was the reason at all.  I think the Bills were just looking out for Feliciano because they have good people running this program and they simply were not going to put Feliciano back out there until he was ready.  I'm glad that Feliciano recognizes that, and so will everyone else in the locker room.  Just one more indication that we have the right people steering the ship in Buffalo.

According to at least one guy players don't care about these things.  They would rather play for big market clubs.

The Declaration of Independence is not a binding legal document.  It's a letter sent to King George III.  Also, there is nothing about due process in the Declaration.  The Due Process Clause resides in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.

It's amazing how much I've already learned in law school and I still have 2 years to go.  You genuinely think you know what you're talking about... but you don't.

I'm very well aware that the Declaration isn't the constitution and that's why I said viewed.  King George would be who we were declaring our independence from so that would make sense huh.   Also the current constitution isn't the constitution that we originally adopted.  That was the mind set behind the constitution and part of what the Supreme court Justices are supposed to use to interpret it.

And you are right about the due process thank you.  I just double-checked.  I'm not the one that's in law school so you'll have to excuse me for a mistake that doesn't disprove anything I've said.  It's really inconsequential.

Your still wrong about the second amendment though.  Because they would have overthrown this government a long time ago.  I can't help but notice you didn't comment or bring up what Franklin and Jefferson said.

Good luck disproving my interpretation of the second amendment when those two quotes haven't been erased from history yet.  But I'm sure you're just waiting for me to make a mistake or be wrong about something before you comment.  That way you don't have to acknowledge defeat or give ground.  You make an excellent politician.

Just because views are different does not automatically make them co-equal.

If someone starts talking about bringing back slavery, am I supposed to give to treat that view just like any other?

I'm not comparing your views to slavery.  I'm only trying to highlight the inherent falsehood of treating all views as equal.  That's a bunch of malarkey.

Slavery was always viewed as unconstitutional.  Even though there wasn't an Amendment.

The Declaration of Independence clearly states that all men are created equal, endowed by their creator(which means man can't take it away without the creators consent) with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness which shall not be infringed upon except under due process of the law.(the creators permission to take it away)

That means you can't have slaves.

That means you can't accuse people of being terrorist and put the in Guatonamo Bay without a trial.

The founders of this nation were selfless men and what we have had since is nothing but selfish men.

This includes Trump.  However, Trump makes his money from businesses.  His businesses are construction and real estate.  The economy has to boom for him to rake it in.

You see I don't look at what the media says or even what the politicians say.  I look at their circumstances.

Bush and Cheney were garaunteed to start a war because of the business they were both tied to.

Obama and the Clintons had jack squat but some how have a fortune now.  They sold us out to China and Mexico as well as other countries.

It's the same for accurately interpreting the founders intent.  Looking at the circumstances they had and we're living through.  This is why the left is trying to erase history under the guise of something they cold care less about.  If Pelosi cares about racism and illegal immigrants then why does she pay them substandard wages and why doesn't she sponsor them.

He's done it you're just being lied to.  You're getting your education from individuals who would be damn near untouchable in a socialist society.

He's the only President that I have ever seen work for the American people.  The rest have worked for the rest of the world.  He spent as much of the last four years as he was allowed by those scum bags Pelosi(ties to Cartels and not just on the take but a member) and Schumer.  Trump got a lot of what Clinton, Bush and Obama had given to the rest of the world back.  The economy was booming like I have never seen until a questionable pandemic happened.  Interesting that it originated in China.  China would have the most to gain from a falling US economy and a Trump defeat in the next election.  China also has strong ties to members of the Democratic party.

I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out if a large portion of the US population is blind, ignorant or just plain stupid.

For me it doesn't matter who gets elected.  My life won't get better either way.  For the vast majority of Americans Trump needs to be elected and the far left needs to be gone from Washington.  Even for most of the people who are voting against Trump he is the better option.  You just don't see it.

Yea I'm not opening that other thread all weekend.

It's been almost a month of hearing how awful the country is, how racist we are, and we've seen the complete devastation that public education and college has done over the last 10 years; we have surrendered and lost a chunk of Seattle to terrorists; and still, a pandemic that the media continues to paralyze too many of us with fear and horror.

Saturday night, the counter attack begins.  All hands on deck.  In 2016 it was us against the world.

Today, there is no doubt it's good vs evil.  Trump is not perfect.  He is not eloquent.  Suburban women don't like him.  He tweets.  Sometimes too much.  But he's American.  He loves this country and has done all he can to fight the forces he believes are fighting against you, America.  He doesn't play nice.  Bush and Romney did that.  Those days are over.  The enemy is not nice.  They are mean, bitter, awful, hate filled people that do not think the country is a force of good in the world.  In 2008 they ran on "change."  How'd that work out?  Today they are running on "Orange Man Bad."  That is not a plan.  They don't really like to tell you their plans anymore.  They need to keep that quiet.  Let me remind you of what the ends to those plans look like....

The Democrats have just given you a free trial in socialism.  The Democrats have shown you what they will do with power.  They cannot be allowed anywhere near it.

Not one is good.  I won't vote for any of them but for your sakes I hope Trump wins.

I always talk about this issue with my dad who supports eliminating interest on student loans and means tested partial forgiveness. But I always tell him that it is probably not that much more expensive to just do full forgiveness. Due to the fact that the massive means testing needed would probably require a massive bureaucracy that would likely cost a lot of money and it would be both easier and more effective to just make the program universal.

Individuals that actually go to school for something legit have no issues paying back student loans.

Individuals who get liberal arts degrees and don't further their education make out fine as well.  They already have income driven repayment.

Individuals also do not use due diligence when choosing what to go to school for.  You shouldn't go to school to be something that doesn't have a good market forecast.

Why should responsible people keep having to pay for the irresponsible.
