Proud of this team, but out coached badly tonight as they had no answer to the blitz and the d game plan was obviously horrendous.
he’s probably a nice guy but
i have absolutely no need to
ever see Singletary in a bills uniform again. He’s horrible in short yardage and his drops are inexcusable. Need an upgrade here
What happened to him? He’s plan seems to be to run into the closest guard in the backfield. He’s blowing it

Anyone remember tackle football in the street in the winter before heavy salting became the norm?
Or walking to the ice pond wearing ice skates?
Hitching cars?
Was there any better feeling than hitting someone clean out of bounds in the street?

I don’t disagree but idk how bills fans can say that after one above average season. I bet the redskins were thinking the same thing with RG3. I have complete confidence in mcbeanes decision making but we haven’t been good in 30 years. I can’t just dive into that hype until we actually win something substantial

Love this line up. We’re playing a lot of teams with aging/won’t be there next year qbs. Lotta teams with overall pointing down

Sign Fitz to backup Allen next season please. Bring him back home.
Can you imagine these two, that would be incredible for Josh, fitz, and the fans

Dolphins kicker likely cost me the FF championship (15 points in our league) unless Allen balls out. Thanks you a-hole.
Same. Isn’t is poetic the last leg of ff will fall on Josh in foxborough

There's no such thing as a meaningless game where you play the same opponent the next week. Handing over a mental advantage could be drinking poison. I already acknowledged that I'm fine with playing the backups in this scenario but purely because of the injury concerns. Do you really expect McD to address the team and tell them to intentionally lose? He wouldn't be able to look at them after. To be clear if you have a desperate team of starters vs a team of backups actively trying to lose in an NFL game the score would be something like 55-3. That's not the team morale I want heading into the playoffs. Give me a swaggering Bills squad against the Ravens over a simpering one against the Dolphins trying to pick their dignity back up off the floor.
The dolphins would have to win that game and would throw everything they had at our back ups only to play them at home right after. I’ll take rested starters and their game plan vs jackson getting hot in the playoffs. Not a good look but it’s definitely smart

I really don’t think Big Ben can hold up. Bye week 4 and some tough defenses down the schedule. They’re one medium hit from being sunk the rest of the season. Which means hopefully 2nd seed or playing them

Meanwhile, Hill does a backflip into the end zone for KC. That was ***** classless. All my years of watching football I have always said KC is one of the most classless organizations I have ever seen. They always rub it in, doesn’t matter what decade and who’s on the roster.
I hate the celebrations though so I understand people won’t agree with me.
Or how every player has to have a big signal when they get a first down. Come on

I don't see how a centralized bubble or bubbles can work. As I understand it, both grass fields and artificial turf cannot handle multiple games in a day or even days. So you likely need multiple cities with multiple fields that can handle an NFL game. LA comes to mind with the Coliseum, Rose Bowl, SoFi, wherever the hell the Chargers played last year. College teams are still playing so that might not even be an option.
Even if they works out good luck keeping people from breaking the rules. Should be interesting

Might be a blessing in disguise. Steelers bye was week 4, they’ve been jerked around by other teams COVID situation 2x, old qb, and we play them week 14. Let’s pray the cookies crumble just right for us

Every single qb run I scream why TF are we doing this! Seriously how necessary are these to dabolls game plan. This is a joke and I hope he get caught in a polar vortex on the way home

Getting a bunch of key players back after the bye too 👍

What do we have to do to get a good punter? I’m so sick of seeing borjo out there

Toss up game.
Some would say we got away w/ a few ourselves (Rams, Pats). It kind of evens out.
Hate losing on a hail mary, but that's football. This is a test for a young team w/ tons of promise - how they react to it is literally everything.
I’m dead inside but not mad about it. What can you do about that ending, hopefully it’s a lesson going forward

You have no idea what the response to him was. Don't assume. But to be honest, just saying "Allen looked terrible" without providing any specifics or observations to back up your claim does sound kinda dumb to me too. Just in general, blanket statements like "Player X sucks" or "Player Y is terrible" don't demonstrate a high level of football intelligence or observational savvy. It's not to say the person making those statements may not POSSESS same, but they aren't SHOWING it, and the board would be a pretty boring place if everyone did likewise.
I thought Allen looked overall solid the last 2 weeks. He missed pulling the trigger on some open throws, but he also showed much improved patience with the short passing game against the Jets and much improved ability to check into and out of the right run play for the job against NE. Those are parts of his QB vocabulary that he has to develop. It's not on him that the NJ turf monster in swallowed Kroft on a wide-open path to the EZ or that two sure Davis TDs didn't stay on the board (one drop, one penalty). He had the ball in his hands rushing a lot - 11x vs the Jets and 10x vs NE, and his only fumble was a strip-sack where 9 out of 10 QB would have coughed it up. His only pick was evidently a miscommunication with his #1 WR.
Repeating the same thing over and over and over again without new information or new argument is called "crusading". It may pass as reasoning to you. It may satisfy you. But it's not allowed here.
Regardless of the outcome today I would like to
effectively apologize, I have become what I disdain the most which is a dummy with a wrong opinion. . I clearly know nothing about the bills or football so apologies and go bills

We played like dog ***** against a patchwork patriot team that has a qb that cant throw a football and we should have lost.
Minus saying we won....there is nothing else positive about this win.

Hey man you seem lost with whatever insult responses you’re talking about but I’ll digress. I don’t need to explain a thing to you or anyone, feel free to ignore and move on when I express my displeasure with a player. Josh was setting records the first 2 weeks and has stalled on offense the last 4. I don’t need an excel sheet to confirm that and I don’t need an equation to make you happy. Talk about a crusade it’s just a football not trying to split an atom. I’m not shouting doom from a bell tower my observation was he/the team have not played well recently. I hope you don’t police everyone who doesn’t write out everything

Perhaps it would be a better strategy for a discussion board, to explain what you see in Allen's play that leads you to describe him as "terrible", rather than assailing the guy you're responding to with cracks about "blissful ignorance" and being "so much smarter than everyone"?
Specifics, please, and not just throwing out a number (passer rating) that has been widely criticized as "broken".
Considering that response to him saying I sound dumb, I’m content with with my answer and reasoning. I don’t have specifics, but JA and the entire offense had looked terrible the last 2 weeks against terrible teams. The last 4 weeks have looked bad. I don’t need statistics to see if we continue this level of play against Seattle we’re gonna get rag dolled.

Seattle & Arizona are terrible defensively. No reason outside McD that Josh shouldn't have 300+ vs both (and 30+ points).
I would feel more confident saying that about the jets and deflated pats. “No reason” hardly holds up with the bills

Why would I be concerned with a 300 yard passing game against the Jets and a game where we ran the ball against NE with the wind and 7 DB look all game?
Both teams forced Allen to do what he hasn’t done... take the short stuff (Jets) and allow the running game to take over (Pats).
I think Josh is going to have to step up against Seattle and do much, much better than he did against KC. Won’t argue that. I also hope Brown is finally healed up, because Davis is not ready to be that WR2.
104.6, 146.7, 128.9, 115.8, 77.6, 73.4, 90, 65.5. Those are his ratings week by week and the last 2 weeks will be the easiest he gets all season. Congrats on a 300 yard game against the jets, somethings not the same but idk what it is

I mean, you claim Allen looked terrible today... that makes you sound dumb.It must be a heavy burden knowing you’re so much smarter than everyone. If you aren’t concerned with his play the last couple weeks I envy your blissful ignorance

Except we didn’t. It woulda been 3rd and about 3 with a chance to hold them to a fg.
it’s funny to me that you are accusing somebody else of hearing only what they want but then say foolish things like “we lost the game”. That’s dumb. Don’t do it.
How many times have you seen that before, NE marching down field end of the game. One can be happy with our record on paper and still see the glaring flaws a team has without being dumb. Think bigger my dude
