Long and Nsekhe should be viewed as backups, and safeguards. Ideally we still sign Williams, and draft LT at 9, and swing Dawkins to RG. And we should still be drafting TE too.

Wait, did anyone tell him it snows in Buffalo?

Maybe they misunderstood which Tyler we were getting?

I think Paradis and Humphries coming here would be a great off-season....then draft a RT with their first pick.
If we sign Paradis and Williams at RT, at 9 we'd be in position to draft a solid LT, and could shift Dawking to RG. Solid.

I don't think it's that big of a contract at all.
That's max, though, and I'm sure that includes all-pro designations/super bowl victories. If he achieves those incentives, then he'll clearly have been worth it. The base is between $84-88 million. I don't know how much is guaranteed.
$50mil guaranteed. Thats steep.

I love the centers this year, but we need a good vet here. OL take a couple years to develop, which is why if it is Paradis, could be a bridge to a young guy. Morse is the young one...
Thats a long bridge. The guy's probably going to get a massive 4 year contract. He's not a 1 or 2 year rental.

I heard Fred Jackson is still available too.

I saw some numbers yesterday that showed that Ivory had essentially the same number of carries for a loss as McCoy, and I was stunned. Obviously McCoy dances in the backfield more than he would on Dancing with the Stars...but It's definitely an o-line problem.

So by the same logic Jim Brown is/was a Raven? At least during the period when Cleveland didn't have a team?
Ha, just had that thought myself.

Well, I wouldn't consider them part of the Texans franchise...so yeah..makes sense to me.
Maybe it's better and easier when tied to a franchise that exists now with the same name, but is a new team? Like The Browns/Jim Brown?

Did you watch the preseason? Curious what led you to believe Star would be a stud.....
-
Bills wins 5.5 - Over
- Allen starts 12 - Under (But I think it's right on. I think he starts week 5.
- McCoy rushing yards 1,150 - Over
- Leading receiver yards 750 - Over
- Leading receiver catches 65 - Over - IF Benjamin stays healthy
- Total INTs 15 - Over
- Player with most INTs 4.5 - Under
- Player with most sacks 8.5 - Over - Murphy will help take pressure off Jerry. Jerry gets 10.
- 1st win week 4 - Under - I think we win week 1, then lose 3 straight.
- 1st 2019 draft pick number 6 - Over
- Bills Pro Bowlers 1.5 - Over - McCoy, White, Hyde, Poyer
-
Lets hope what he showed in the preseason continues.

Speaking of Jack Nicklaus, not sure if you guys knew this, but TE Jason Croom is his grandson.

There's this thing called depth...it's necessary. Not every guy you sign plays all the time.
