A restaurant has competition and must cater to its customers to make money.
The NFL has no competition and takes advantage of that fact by maximizing profits with less than zero regard for its customer's wants or needs.
I've recently lost any qualms I may have once had about honesty and fair play when it comes to the NFL.
If you want to consider me a thief for "stealing" from unethical robber barons, so be it.
So I guess it’s ok to also “steal” from Walmart, lowes, Home Depot and all those other robber barons??

Interesting take. I've lived here since '98 and can't say I agree. I'm on the border of Durham and Chapel Hill. Does any town ever get the roads right before the population explodes? Kinda just the way it is. Restaurant scene in Durham and Chapel Hill is excellent.
much better on that part of town than over in southeast durham all we have is brier creek area.

The time of Western New York's demise go inside it with the rise of North Carolina, the infrastructure of North Carolina was primed for growth. Charlotte unfortunately did not plan far enough ahead unlike the Piedmont triad. Raleigh is just a mess.
Raleigh and Durham both a mess unchecked growth and no infrastructure. thousands of homes and town homes going up in southeast durham and barely 2 lane roads to support them. Plus inadequate fire, police, restaurants etc.

Opening day 1980 we beat the dolfins and the field is stormed . After a decade of losing and the initiation of talking proud! What a crazy time on the field taking down goal posts etc.

I had the NFL ST last year. The one feature I absolutely missed from the Directv Sunday Ticket, was the ability to record the game (e.g.. start recording at 1pm kickoff) and if I was busy with something else, not rush to the TV, but sit down to watch around 2pm. Between commercials and halftime crap, I was usually caught up by the time the game ended.
I just saved 45 min - hour of my weekend!
But, with the Youtube Sunday Ticket, I didn't have that function. Their solution was clips for what they determined were highlights to catchup, but not the actual broadcast in which I could FF through ads.
Is the functionality I miss from Directv available with the Youtube subscription and DVR option?
if you have YTTV you can record and than just fast forward however fast forwarding isn't the easiest thing to do.

Best football related money I spend every year, especially since the switch to youtubeTV.
I liked it on directv better, easier to synch with OTA Sirius XM, better user interface to find game, also ability to negotiate a deal. With YTV no deals just jack up prices. Glad I have prime and free Netflix for the games tossed onto those platforms that have even a worse UI

It seems all three picks so far are guys with very high ceilings . Really hope we can coach up these guys. Seems like they are thinking Carter switching to 1T

I drafted 2 game wrecking lineman and 2 more with potential
Good luck finding those.
Ty Robinson can rush the passer and is an excellent run stuffer, poor mans JJ Watt
That's a compliment, ill take it 😎😎
game wrecking DL is what we need

Wouldn’t it be wise to see Benford on the field fully recovered from the injuries late last season before committing to tens of $Ms in guarantees.
Agree maybe he came back to fast but two concussions could be a start of a bad direction

I got no problem with this. As a matter of fact, I think Beane, McDermott and the coaches need to get a little tougher on a lot of players.
Like someone on defense

1980 opening day we squish the fish for first time in a decade. Fans storm the field, turf torn up, goal posts sent out of the stadium.

The 1980 team.
A bit before my time but they beat a tough Jets team in the road in the first round. Then I know someone dropped an INT that woulda beaten the Chargers in the next round.
That Bills team that year beat the Raiders in the regular season that went on to win the Super Bowl
that was a great team, Fergy injured ankle and barely could move in the pocket. TALKING PROUD years!

best DL in world and great edge won't help when ya let receivers have a 15 yard cushion. Mc D soft zone with safeties deep is only preventing the big bomb not stopping dink and dunk quick passes. A receiver like worthy you hit often and hard.

I just want an offense that can attack at all 3 levels of the field. Have my doubts with Brady and the passing side of things. We finally have a good run game but the pass offense is not as dynamic. Is part of it talent sure but I need see Brady be more creative in scheming guys open for Josh. Offense too reliant on Josh buying time scrambling when guys are not open and then trying to make a play which is not sustainable. Jealous of the Chiefs and how they run their offense.
The pass offense is amateurish. There is no creativity, we run tunnel screens, very little play action and hardly any crossing routes that force defenders in zone to adjust.

Seriously guys, we never achieved anything with the white helmet. At least with the red one we went to 4 Superbowls. I also believe refs love red helmets.

The issue isn't the helmet the issue is they moved from Fredonia State for training camp!!

I am not sure if anyone cares or is interested in knowing... but I will write it and if no one cares we can delete it... but it is such a fun niche in Bills tradition...
It was 2 days before Christmas in 1990, the Bills were playing a huge home game against the hated Dolphins... So, all traditions and superstitions were on full display... no one willing to break any one of them. Kenny J (Pinto Ron) had a tradition of eating a Hamburger cooked on a shovel with ketchup before every game... only... this game... Kenny forgot his ketchup... he came to me in a panic... "JP51!! you have to find me some ketchup!!! " so I went to the tailgate next to us and told them and they went into the Mobile home and produced a 12 oz bottle of Heinz ketchup... I came back to Ken with the ketchup and said... how about I get on the hood of the Pinto and squirt the ketchup on your burger that way... Kenny said Brilliant... so, to no fan fare or anything I got on the hood of the Pinto and squirted ketchup towards the burger... well. 20mph winds had different ideas as none of the ketchup was going on the burger... but all over Kenny .... and the cheering started... I literally had to get down off of the Pinto and shake the last vestiges of Ketchup on the burger to keep with tradition... We won...
Next week Kenny comes with a 36 oz bottle of ketchup and says we have to do this again... so up I went... and used the "Blind and Blast" technique... nail his glasses so he couldnt see... then blast him with Ketchup.... and a tradition was born... as time went on we moved to a 64oz bottle, and crowds of people chanting Ketchup Ketchup Ketchup... news crews coming to film etc... then one day (me being about 235lbs at the time the roof of the 80 Pinto dented.... worried about the sustainability of the roof and wanting to continue the tradition... in the offseason Kenny tore the underside of the Top out and reenforced it with steal... (true Story lol)
as time went on, Mustard and relish and other condiments were brought in and you have the ceremony in its present form...
And that my friends is the rest of the story....
I wondered wtf started this. Thanx for sharing
