But you didn't answer my question...

I know more about the Bills, how they are going to do, the inside's and outs of the team, than you ever will.  So please don't tell me to hang it up for the night #######.

Looks like he left for the night, I would have too if I was him.

Yeah, I heard he's repping for a temp hire agency now.  I'll bet that endorsement earns good money.

When someone has a valid point against you, its tossed aside.  We get it.  When the Bills win the Superbowl this year, don't act like you saw it coming.

And they lost. Get better. Don't tell me. Show me. They drafted 3 stiffs at DE to fix the pass rush but hey they're addressing the problem so that makes it ok

Why don't you stop being negative about everything and start enjoying football.

Nobody to run with Tyreek Hill. Not the squib. Tyreek Hill.

    But they did win.

And whose to say we won't since we will be contenders for years to come?

None of your previous posts were worthy of a response.

Or you just didn't have one worthy of being posted.

I mean it’s been 12 hours into the offseason. Sheesh.

Yeah, the Rams got a Superbowl, but they are going to be in cap hell for years to come.  They could have also easily lost the SB and all those moves would have been for naught.

I’m trying to figure out what you’re bitching about the reasons why the Buffalo has not been to the Super Bowl yet are not talent related

Kansas City, LA Rams...those teams have done it better because (and I'm not sure if you know this) they won SB's.  Made big acquisitions to give them an edge either before or during the off-season.

When the NFL starts awarding the Lombardi to the best regular season roster, please let me know.  I'll change my criteria on success in the NFL.

I really can't take you seriously with the third paragraph.  Stop falling back on hyperbolic arguments and whining about the pandemic.  It's an indication you're whining.

What big acquisition did KC make? Does Diggs not count for the Bills?

And they became the Super Bowl Rams by identifying the problem and making the right move to fix it. They then augmented that move with other moves to bring in players at positions of need midseason.

The Bills don't have enough speed in the back end. Waiting to see how that's addressed because we were all clamoring for Levi Wallace to be replaced last year and he wasn't. Now we have White coming off an ACL and the DBS are still too slow as a group.

They don't get after the QB well enough and they've drafted three DEs in the last two years who don't consistently rush the quarterback. Now you subtract Hughes from that mix and they still need to be significantly better in that area.

They've replaced Butler and Phillips with two different guys. Better? I don't know. Saffold at LG, better at age 34? I'm not sure. Line depth took a hit with Williams gone though because he's not there to step out to RT in a pinch now. Tommy Doyle needs to be the swing tackle this year which is moderately scary.

So far they are different. I'm not sure if they are better. I'll say again, last year they didn't get better. Their deficiencies were the same as the year before. Run defense in general, CB2, pass rush, interior line play and RB.

Yes, they need more speed at CB, but who were they going to sign in FA that was going to get them that?  They didn't have enough cap space for Jackson.

They needed pash rush, they drafted 3 DE's in the first 2 rounds the last 2 years.  They are trying to fill that hole.  All those guys are super young.

The experts so far have praised the signings so far as upgrades, I'm going to go with their opinions.

I love how you avoided my question… explain to the board which organizations have done it better since 2017… take everything into account. The draft, free agency, player development, winning games and anything else you want to add…

It did affect every team, but if you can’t compute the fact that the Bills had planned their signings around the idea that they could be competitive now with the ability to spend in the future and then that was taken away from them by the fact that the cap didn’t increase, that’s on you.

If you’re failing to recognize that this front office plans things out in advance and has a legitimate plan, then I’m also sorry. If you wanna talk about milk and cookies, you live in Candyland where every player on the team has to be a Pro Bowler and every free agent signing has to be below market value for things to please you.

They’ve objectively built a top 5 roster in the sport and you’re asserting they’re mediocre.

Everything he's saying has a negative spin on it even though we have no real holes, just areas we can upgrade (who doesn't?)  The other teams are signing big names because they have cap space, mostly because of rookie QB contracts.  But after all the signings so far,  I still see the Bills at the top of Superbowl favorites list.  So what does that tell you?

The bad UFA contracts have far outweighed the good ones.  Star's is at the top, and 2 good ones at market value don't overcome that level of stupid.

As long as McCoach has the dominant voice in personnel, they'll always shade toward defense, spend good money to do it and all at the expense of Josh.

They're SB contenders sure, but going from perennial playoff team to winning a SB is a bigger leap than people understand.  And right now, Buffalo is taking the pedestrian and safe approach consistent with a risk averse HC.

I'm not sure you can say that.  They have limited cap room because they have a good roster.  You need to chill and give it some time, its day 1.

    Rams would have been tough.

Sick of hearing about Cinci.   That defense they deployed to turn Mahomes into a pumpkin doesn’t work against Allen.  He would’ve just ran all over it.

KC got super complacent second half versus Cincy.  They went up 21-3 and thought they could cruise to a win.  KC played their absolute A game against the Bills and we still should have won.

I disagree, I think the Rams would have beaten them and I frankly think they would have struggled with the Bengals.

They may have lost to the Rams, they were a good team, but it would have been close.

We would have best the Bengals though, at home.  We would have been 5-6 point favorites.

I'm really leaning toward blaming the cap issues on Russia...everyone's doing it now and people believe it so...why not?

BADOL is at the top of the quality posters here.  He gives it to you real, not with milk and cookies like most homers want.  Ergo, he hurts people's feelings when things go wrong and people start making excuses.  Like blaming cap issues on something that affected every team.

Beane and Co have put together, in many experts eyes, one of the deepest, most talented rosters in the league, with the best QB in the league, and they are, literally, SB favorites at some sports books.  Sure, every team has holes and they are trying to fill them and improve the roster like everyone else.  What more do you want from them?  It's unrealistic.

  14. The knee-jerk overreactions on this board are hard to take.

The truth is, we're 4-2, lost to two good teams, we're going to be 5-2 on Sunday and probably have a 2 game lead in the division.  Miami is starting Tua, which in my option helps us a lot as Fitz is playing well, and NE is struggling.  I think we beat the jets and pats next two games to go to 6-2 and everyone will make a 180 be happy again.

  15. I think the tools available to analyze quarterbacks to see if they are going to be successful at the next level are much more advanced now than they were when Leaf and Boller were coming into the NFL.  I haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise that Bean and McDermott put a ton of review and studying of Josh Allen to see if he would be able to be successful under the coaching staff.  So I am going to believe that they know what they are doing.  The GM/coaching staff has shown that it can make things happen, so why doubt them now?  Allen may never develop, but it's not from a lack of trying on anyone's side.

Also, there is no way McDermott or Bean are gone in the next 2 or 3 years.  Even if Allen doesn't pan out, I don't think the Pegula's would fire them because of just that one decision.  A lot of people had Allen high on their draft boards.  There is always risk involved with these picks.  You just have to regroup and keep at it.  There have been so many positives in the last year and a half that barring an absolute meltdown, they will be here for I would say at least 5 more years, but I would say for a long while.  This organization needs stability at the GM and coaching positions that it hasn't had in a long time.

  16. I was using the New York Times playoff simulator to see how the Bills could get in with a 9-7 record.  It is actually very feasible.

I have the Bills winning @ Chargers, home to Colts, home to Dolphins and @ Dolphins.  That gives the Bills a 9-7 record, 3-3 division record and 7-5 conference record.

When I put the outcomes of the other games, I didn't put anything unreasonable.  For example, I have Baltimore beating the Browns, Colts, Cincy and one other team to get to 8-8.  I have Miami losing to the Pats twice and I think they end up 7-9 or 8-8.  I have Jacksonville winning the South and Tennessee getting the 5th seed.

So Baltimore gets to 8 losses, Miami 8 losses, the Jets get to 8 losses, and then the only other team I would consider would be Oakland, and we have the tiebreaker on them, not to mention they play the Pats, Chiefs, Chargers.  I think 9 wins will get us in in many cases.
