Waddle running routes today at practice. Looks like he will be a go on Sunday.

Good. No excuses. Just line up and play.

People have been making a huge deal over it, but I’ve been thinking all week their injury list is a little over exaggerated.  Not to say guys aren’t actually banged up or hurt, but this is a big game so I assume most will play.

  2. Glorified popularity contest. Even with that said, as many others have said, it’s a damn shame that Josh and Ed aren’t voted to the roster. Ed should be an all-pro this year. As a team, you could argue we’ve had a mild year, but Josh is crushing the league in TDs.

***** like this really starts to piss me off. Mahomes will have 2 MVPs and 2 superbowl MVPs on his resume while Lamar is likely to have 2 MVPs on his resume. Not saying they haven’t earned that recognition (though I’d argue CMC should be MVP in a QB down year this year over Lamar), but people not appreciating Josh year after year is getting flat out old. All because of some pre-draft bias about his ability to make the jump. The guy is true rags to riches. Zero star recruit with no D1 offers out of HS. He goes out there and shuts up all the doubters…the true American underdog story that everyone typically eats up, and people still can’t let it go. Continue to ***** on him. It’s exhausting for me, so I can’t even imagine what that has been like for him. Yes, he can sit on his big pile of cash at the end of the day, but that nonsense has to get to you as a human being eventually.

I don't care.  I see these plays with busted open receivers every week.  I'm not saying we never have them but it’s pretty damn rare.

It’s amazing how rare it is. Hardly ever happens to this team. Just about every damn yard is like pulling teeth. Amazing to me that even the best QBs on other teams have these opportunities either via scheme or broken plays. I don’t think our scheme since Daboll left has done Josh any favors on creating these types of opportunities. So, either defenses are so locked in and never make any mistakes against us, the scheme doesn’t put our guys in a position to consistently succeed and/or create these opportunities, deficient skill position talent, or it’s there but Josh doesn’t see it. The reality is that it’s probably a combination of those (or related factors), though I’d probably put a tad more weight on skill position talent and scheme weaknesses. Josh is also not seeing the field clearly this year, so I’m sure he has been missing on his share of some of these opportunities too.

IMO it is all about the hundreds of millions in estimated cost overruns.  One of three things will happen…

1 - Pegula absorbs all the overrun costs.

2 - PSL and game tix will go up even more than expected because of the overruns(this may be the reason why the VR pitch center for STH has not opened yet).

3 - Stadium amenities/bells and whistles get downgraded to minimize the amount of overruns.

Cost was my thinking too. We already know a stadium is being built, but they’ve not gone on record with much detail (outside of the Buffalo statue) to manage expectations. In other words, certain things will be cut if these cost overruns get crazy, so don’t get your heart set on any one thing - amenity, design, feature, or otherwise - because everything is subject to change. That’s bunk from a fan perspective, but likely what’s driving the secrecy and scant details.

Motion away from Ramsey is a way to start. I also think that Eli Apple being on the field will REALLY fire Allen and Diggs up

Are there two more hated corners, as far as the Bills are concerned, in the league right now? Even Jaire Alexander beef with Diggs last year was pretty much just gamesmanship. But Ramsey and Apple have made some really “trash” and bush league comments in the past. Hope they torch both of them.

Because most of you know I’m very much into this stuff, see if you can google the new year-in-construction-review progress video just posted on the New Everton Football Club waterfront stadium. I cannot help but be envious of what they’re creating and can’t help but think of how cool something like it would’ve been on a very similar downtown Buffalo waterfront site. The Everton stadium will open this coming summer and so the last months progress shows seats and video screens being installed. In a word….wow!

Thanks for the heads up on this build! I checked it out and it was really cool.

I’ve said it a couple times in this thread, but a lack of a VR/fly-through at this point just doesn’t make any sense. Even objectively speaking, I think you’d have to say the Bills have done a pretty poor job generating much excitement around the new facility. They’ve given us almost nothing. A few stills. Truly baffling. Now, we all know Bills fans are a rare breed who continue to show up and show out no matter what, but good luck with selling those high $ PSLs if people have zero expectation or idea of what they are getting. How hard would it be to throw a live cam up at the very least? It seems like once Kim had her unfortunate medical issue, and they moved on from Ron Raccuia, that anything stadium-related (outside of the actual construction) has been a complete afterthought. If either of them were still involved as originally planned, I think this whole thing would be going much differently from a fan experience perspective.
