Man, reading the title of 39 years ago I was expecting the year to be 1960 something not 1980. I'm getting old....

Is it ever?
Deep balls sure. Getting strip sacked after 1 second in the pocket and the incomplete pass before that play. No not on Josh.

The o line better get their ***** together. This is not on Josh.

It was Hughes. He 100 percent can talk smack like that.
If it was Oliver or another young player.....or Jordan Phillips or one of our back ups in the secondary I guess maybe I'd be irked.
Hughes tho. No way. He's been a warrior his whole career at an elite level for most of it....he can talk smack. When I saw it was him I lol'd.
I agree about Hughes 100%. He was more just shouting than directly addressing the fans like other players. While I understand why players would want to do that because I'd guess they get harassed most the game they are the professionals. Like I said I love it and hate it haha. Part of it is a take no ***** attitude that resembles the fans I feel but the other part is me just wanting them to act professional at the same time.

I said in the 2nd half game day thread yesterday before the half started how I felt confident going in because McDermott does a good job adjusting and getting the team prepared. I felt he would make better adjustments than the Cowboys staff at the half and he sure did.
Obviously it's the work the entire coaching staff's putting in but it starts at the top with McDermott. I've picked up from his pressers he's a very smart, detail oriented person. Always talking about technique and strategies. Now that he has the talent it's showing what his coaching philosophy is capable of especially with the coaches and players he surrounds himself with.

I love it and hate it all at the same time haha

That West Herr commercial was actually really good

I am way more confident in the adjustments that McDermott will make during the half than what the cowboys will do. He's very good and those things so I'm feeling good coming into the 3rd. He's a smart coach.

another reason he reminds me so much of a young big ben.... living on the outskirts of stiller country I've seen a ton of that guy and for years fans of that team were more confident in 3rd and long situations than there were on a typical 3rd and 3.
This is true for me. 3rd and 6+ I know they're passing and feel confident we'll get a first. 3rd and 3 or less I'm thinking to myself "Ok what kinda of gadget play is Daboll gonna call and screw up" or that I'll be watching Gore get stuffed trying to go up the middle. I love Gore btw but we are not good at running up the middle for some reason.

Running plays so fast the camera crew can't keep up

***** ya that was fun!!!!!

Frank Gore 2 runs for 11 yards so we keep throwing the ball

Not cool
I believe 27 was the guy that hit Allen on the slide. Jon was just giving him a little extra for it. I'm ok with that

There was one play the D wasn't lined up right and Hyde was screaming at someone who was running around aimlessly to line up on the edge - which he did at the last second - then promptly blitzed to make the play behind the LOS It was crazy.
There's a clip on buffalobills.com where Hyde talks about this after the game in case you're interested
