He absolutely would have a similar season, maybe even better. Talent wise Allen is superior to Mahomes.

I was skeptical about Butler at first, but he may have a higher ceiling than D.K. I dont know if he lasts until the second round. We should trade back if we want him.

I just don't get this fetish for Mahomes on a BUFFALO BILLS message board. A lot of teams that needed QB's passed him by. At least the Bills got something for passing him by.
I think it has something to do with the fact that there is a sizable contingent of fans on this board that feel that if you aren't always incredibly critical of the Bills originzation and their decisions your catigorized as a "Homer". Which is why i think constantly bring Mahomes up. It reinforces their (I believe incorrect) argument that he's the greatest ever.

So Kelvin Benjamin would've caught perfect passes from Mahomes rather than dropping perfect passes from Allen? The run blocking would've blocked better if we had Mahomes which would allow for a more balanced offence as opposed for Allen? Robert Foster would've learned route running faster if we had Mahomes too? Mccoy would hit the hole? The list goes on. Mahomes didn't need the year off either? I swear the most asine arguments are made for Mahomes on this forum. Ridiculous.

I know I'm coming off as a Mahomes hater (I'm sorry) but you put Stafford in this offence you'll get similar results. Players are just too talented /open.

They had someone who's arm strength was comparable to Nathan Peterman last year. Not a good way to utilize someone with the speed of Tyreek Hill.
Edit: I'm exaggerating a bit when comparing his arm strength the NP, but still.

This is not to cast aspersions on Allen, but he's not in the same league as Mahomes AT THIS POINT, supporting cast notwithstanding.
The people around Mahomes don't need elevating. He has the best weapons in the league.
