The point of all this is the Steelers have been on SNF 33 times over the years. The bills just once. Everyone knows their history their story and all about Mike Tomlin and the terrible towels. What most football fans do not know is about the Buffalo Bills. So why not tell the Bills story. Who they are how they were built. Talk about Terry and Kim and Sean and Brandon. No one outside of Buffalo knows what has dramatically happened the last 3 years. Instead we’re getting a whole quarter of steelers and Rooney family history. Shame on the SNF football crew for not doing any homework on the Bills and explaining their story and who they are. I left the game knowing all about the steelers history and then the bills and Josh went into super hero mode. Why did it happen. Well maybe because Allen has the 2nd best QB rating in the NFL in the 4th QT at 114. The audience has no idea who these players are and how they mesh to form a great team. Such a disappointment and a lost opportunity to let the nation know what is going on with this team.

Here is my problem on what the announcers were saying during this broadcast. The steelers are on national TV like 5 times a year. Everyone knows their story. They are the six time Super Bowl Champs. The Rooney Family ownership. The terrible towel. Their coach Mike Tomlin was on the TV screen more times than I could count. How about talking about the Bills Owners. The Bills coach and Josh Allen. I heard the Duck ? word so many times I wanted to vomit. Bills get one Sunday night game in like 15 years. But no NBC is just going to talk about everything Pittsburgh. Why not let other football fans find out about who the Bills are and what their all about. Just a disgusting decision to broadcast it that way.

My way of thinking is we beat them with a 2 tight end sets with Sweeney and Knox. Both are good blockers and they also can really catch the ball. This will be the first time in a long time we come into the pats game with the better TE. We must not be afraid to attack Gilmore. Smoke can beat Gilmore because he is smaller and quicker. That’s the kind of Receiver Gilmore can struggle against.

The ceiling for this guy appears to be absurd... and the floor seems to be ticking up a little more every week. At this point we’re all just waiting to see if he hits his ceiling and how quickly he gets there. If he gets there while this defense is still in tact, we may not just be battling for a wildcard.
