I'm feeling pretty confident about Rousseau. I remember when we drafted him, people on this board were like, 'oh all his sacks were coverage sacks, that doesn't count.' Or something to that effect. Really?!? That's funny because that's perfect for when McD runs his cover 3 and only has 4 people on the line and doesn't blitz a 5th player. One of the best quotes from Sean when he was talking about Rousseau after we drafted him was "you don't just luck into 15.5 sacks."

I know it was public knowledge on the rookies in their measurements from the draft, but I haven’t read anything what Epenesa was playing at now in OTA’s. In college he was at one point 280lbs. He was powerful. I understand the reference of a feather last year as 255lbs. Didn’t suit him.Are you guessing or did you read he’s at 275lbs. somewhere? My interest is simply his frame makes sense fir him to be 270-275lbs.
If you get a chance to reply or anyone else for that matter is it’s published where Epenesa is hovering these days.
*****, thanks for reminding me. I totally forgot that they had him lose weight.
I grabbed it from https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EpenAJ00.htm
I doubt its been updated since he's been drafted though. So your guess is as good as mine, but I would also like to know what he's weighing in at in OTA's.

6'5 275lbs Epenesa, 6'7 265lbs Rousseau, 6'3 275lbs Basham. Those are some BIG Dlinemen. Bigger the better in the trenches. I like Epenesa and Rousseau a LOT more than both Oliver and Star. Yes I know, different positions, but Rousseau can play inside, and height is a huge advantage against opposing QB's.

The playoff game against the Ravens really gave me a lot of hope. It was hands down his best game as a pro. He was huge against the run and a key factor in Buffalo winning. All in all, I'm 50/50 on the guy panning out. It really comes down to him staying healthy and not going down the Torrell Troup route. He's a likeable guy and I'm rooting for him. I think certain Bills fans put too much pressure on him thinking he's gonna be the next Kyle Williams.
Sounds like half the people on this board...
He's had 3 years in the NFL, missed time due to injuries, and hasn't really done much.
Unless he somehow plays like an all-pro this year, this will most likely be his last season as a Bill. He'll be easily replaced with another draft pick who'll probably do a lot better.

I remember watching this after we selected him and I got pumped
but he looks so young there and it’s only been 3 years
took him 2.5 years to grow facial hair....

Day 2 crush? Is that like waking up with an unknown woman in bed next to you, after an insane night of drinking..
and Shes GORGEOUS?!? 😲
Nah man, Day 1 is for 7.5's - 10.0's
Day 2 is more like 6.5's - 7.4's
I'd rather trade all our 2-7 round picks to try to get back into the 1st round... maybe a couple hotties will fall to the mid-late 1st.
We might get lucky and end the day with 2 8.0's or higher.

While I understand the point, what’s the solution?
How do you maintain competitive integrity and let’s the players have more say in where they go?
Instead of the draft being the way it is, have the teams with the top 5 picks collectively choose the top 5 prospects, then let those players choose which of those teams they want to play for? idk...
Anyone know of any good players that grew up Bills fans? I would like an idea of who would have chosen to be on the bills, if the draft wasn't the way it is.
-
I've always wondered what teams would look like if there wasn't a draft, and players could choose to play on their favorite teams or have a choice of the 3 closest teams to their hometown.
On a side note and a little off topic, the argument that you guys are using is the same argument I was using when players/people complained about players not getting enough money, salary cap stuff... etc.. It's part of the game, if you don't like it, get a normal job.

hahahaha!! Suck it Brady!!

This year yes, assuming we don't draft one at 30(which I don't think they will). Next year is a different story though.

Hes been doing a very good job tackling SEC RBs the last few years. He is a very good tackler. Let’s to put on around 10-15lbs and woth a 6’3 frame I can see him doing that... he has a similar frame to Levi Wallace. Tall and long.I'm not really knocking his tackling ability because I haven't looked into him, but damn.. he's one skinny dude.

6’3, 185 - 4.4-4.3 speed. Great tackler... if he is there for us at # 30 would love this guy.
Damn... Is it just me or have we been seeing an uptick in skinny players in the NFL??
Some of these players look like they have no muscles on their arms and legs....
I've seen high school football players with more muscle than some of these guys, jeez...
edit- with those skinny a$$ arms and legs, I highly doubt he's gonna be able to tackle any RB that weighs more than 210lbs.

this shows how much money each team will need for the draft.
it currently has us at just under $5.4M

Nah, I don't think so. It has the cap set at $182.5M and the adjusted cap set at $188M which would be right if you add our rollover. I think we literally have a little more than $15M right now in cap room.
good point, I didn't see that. Looks like 15M it is.
-
It also looks like the Bills will need 5.4M for their rookies, assuming we keep all 6 picks and don't move in the draft. Let's just round that to 20M to make things easier. What do you guys think the bills will do?
Didn't Beane say not to expect any major signings in FA this year? I'm assuming he means players from other teams, not Williams/Milano.
Maybe cut 1 or 2 more players, and extend Williams and call it a day?

I see a shade over $15M on here https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/
It had me confused for a second too, but that 15M is still from a salary cap of 173M. It'll go up to at least 183M, hence the 25M in cap space.

Good idea, drive great players towards the NBA and MLB.
There's only so many NFL players that'll be able to go to the NBA or MLB....
Just because they can play 1 sport, doesn't mean they can play the others(at least well enough to stick on a team).
