Someone who had his private workout already set up and ready to go? Someone who allegedly had the offensive waiver in his possession since Wednesday and issued no complaint until this afternoon. Someone who makes 50 million $ being a former football player who fuels a victim mentality that has people crawling all over themselves to celebrate his success in a workout that he scheduled, he staffed, and he ran- i.e. a workout that he could have done anytime in the past 3 years. (As I think he has done similar things)

Bottom line, someone who is disingenuous and used the NFL bowing to pressure from Jay-Z who in turn was bowing to pressure from CK’s crowd, as an opportunity to attempt to make the NFL look bad. In some ways I’m sure he’s succeeded, but my suspicion is that people who don’t have a political stake in this, who don’t care about his history and care instead about football, have seen this as another step in the “Colin gets his 15” and see it as an indicator that he isn’t serious about dedicating himself to his craft.

Thats my take on it at least.

As for CK, I was hoping he’d get a shot. He may still. I was anti-kneeling cause it was stupid and I find his views and motives ridiculous. I didn’t find kneeling during the national anthem disrespectful or horrific, and I found the way our Commander in Chief responded to it to be ridiculous. I did hate the argument that it was his first amendment right to kneel no matter what his employers said, because that’s idiotic and anyone whose had a job knows as much.... all that being said- I was hoping he’d get a shot cause either the NFL would get an exciting player, or the truth about CK’s inability as a QB would be revealed. Either way it’s a win for me as a football fan. Today however has, in my opinion, proven what I’ve always suspected... CK is more than happy being the most famous former football player. He’s happy with his fat sponsorships and his meta-narrative of oppression. The acts that have been presented today do not appear to be those of a man wanting to practice the professional act of football playing, but rather the professional act of acting.

lol what a joke you are.

...if you're serving a 12 game suspension, after multiple suspensions and fines, firmly planted in the Commish's cross hairs, shouldn't you keep your mouth shut?....but as Ron White said, "you can't fix stupid"...SMH....

he definitely should keep his mouth shut. Doesn’t excuse any of the BS that’s been spewed in this thread.

Raiders' Vontaze Burfict Rips 'Total B---h' Roger Goodell for 12-Game Suspension

    Adam Wells

    November 15, 2019

Oakland Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict went all-in with comments about NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Speaking to The Athletic's Vic Tafur, Burfict said Goodell was a "total b---h" during a meeting in New York when he appealed his 12-game suspension for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle.

"He was a b---h," Burfict said. "He didn't let anybody speak; he rushed us in and out of the meeting. The meeting was bulls--t. He already had the suspension in his hand."

Tafur wrote that Burfict showed "video of clean plays that he had made, plus dirty plays against him that weren't called and that he didn't retaliate to."

i mean, do you expect anything else from burfict? I can plainly see this criminal ass rolling in for a meeting with that idiot commissioner and it going badly.

Along the same line, why did the Steelers bother calling a play down 14, 80 yards away with 14 seconds left?

Very good question. Tomlin is a unique bird he really gives no Fs. Not sure if its a good or bad thing at this point. He does have a ring so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but i feel ya they shoulda just knelt and called it a day

Cry me a river......so easy to throw out the race card  because that's what we we do these days.

Lol yes. Because the myriad of occupations this guy could do outside of playing QB for an NFL team and “urban music DJ” is the first thing that pops into some people’s heads and I am the one playing the race card. Get bent you gaslighting troll. no one needs or wants you here.

Kap is just a actor on the stage to keep disphites debating over useless garbage all day. Just do the math. Kappy sucks to hard for any team to take on the circus that will be his act. Now if he was actually good it would be worth the aggravation.  Colin should just tap out and get a job on a Sirius urban music channel or something. But he has a higher purpose for his handlers.

way to juuuuust barely hide your racism but not really.

The question isn't how many games the NFL should suspend him. It is how can you beat another person in the head on national television with multiple cameras recording the incident and not be criminally charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The play was over so this was not a legitimate part of a sporting event. It was a blatant criminal act between two individuals with intent. How is he not criminally charged and prosecuted?

According to reports, Cleveland police were seen exiting the locker room after the game, for what it’s worth.

  8. Thing is, whenever Garrett comes back (and it shouldn’t be for a long, long time) somebody on the steelers O line is going to try **** him up real bad. Browns should probably just get rid of him.

Also, top notch work once again by NFL officiating that once again let a game get out of hand. There were ample earlier instances last night that contributed to this insane blowup at the end. As always, Al Riveron should be fired.
