Lamar is great value at 12.  Michael Vick went #1 overall.  And Lamar is a better version of Vick.  Don't believe me?

“I could not believe what I had seen,” Vick said. “I could not believe the things he was able to do. He was a spitting image of me and the only thing that came to my mind was this kid is five times better than I was when I was at Virginia Tech

But some fools think that just because someone is more expensive, that must be better.  Just because we do not need to trade two drafts for Jackson that doesn't not preclude him from outstanding in the NFL

And he won a grand total of zero Super Bowls.  Hope you have fun watching Jackson take off and run when his first read isn't there and he gets destroyed by a legitimate NFL linebacker/safety.

Not exactly sure why but I have a bad feeling that Rudolph could be the quarterback we end up taking.

Maybe it's because him and Beane are both from the Carolina's, or perhaps it's because we traded up to 12th (a position that he should be available)

After reading his scouting report I really hope we aren't considering taking this guy!

Have you considered finding another team?  I've never seen anyone start such depressing threads.

It's all good, it wasn't widely reported for some reason. They had private workouts with all of the top 4 guys in addition to speaking with them at the combine and (for those that attended) the senior bowl. If they are then also bringing them in for a visit then that is a big deal because they are either saying yes we like what we see and we want to know more. Or it could be a smoke screen by Beane. He said he would have a couple of visits specifically for that reason. I wonder which of the other top 4 will be in for a visit?

It's been stated and confirmed by Beane that Rosen will be in for a visit.

Doesn’t bother me at all that he’s not running. We know he can run.

I like that it pisses him off that some people are trying to encourage him to switch positions. He’s a QB and a damn good one.

If he's a "damn good one" then why isn't he ranked ahead of Rosen, Darnold, Allen and Mayfield?

One scout, who covered Louisville in-season, said (at the NFL Combine) that he liked Lamar Jackson a lot on film. But said he wouldn't vouch for him early in the draft if his GM asked. You can like Lamar on-film and still have concerns about his non-football situation.

We been done that road, a main reason for no success since Kelly. No more undersized or running QBs, that can't stand in the pocket and deliver the ball. Fitz, Taylor, Manuel, Losman, etc. We had the best passing stats with Bledsoe. A traditional QB.

I will be happy with Darnold, Rosen, Allen or Rudolph.

Ok.  Drop us a line when you get to Philadelphia, or Los Angeles.

WTH happened to this guy? Has booze really derailed his career? could be a viable pick up, with tremendous upside.

Why would he want to come here?  Moreover, with all of his issues, why would Beane and McDermott even consider him?  Let me guess: "give him an incentive laden contract.  if he gets busted again, cut him!" - Typical Bills fan logic.

    and you know this how?

Did you enjoy watching Tyrod Taylor for the last 3 seasons?  Because, that's what you're getting with Jackson - he just happens to be 2, 3 inches taller than Taylor.

Rudolph and Luke Falk are nothing more than system QBs who will likely struggle mightily in the NFL.

Mike White and Kyle Lauletta are a couple of small school jamokes who beat up on pathetic teams and people (e.g. billspro) are enamored with their videogame like stats.  Their ceiling in the NFL is backup, at best.

I would consider that position too at 12.  If that value is not there, I go with highest rated my board.  What team could not use Patrick Peterson?  We have plenty more draft picks, and maybe they like a QB outside top 4.  As far as your question, open battle between AJ McCarron, whichever QB we draft, and Nathan Peterman

One little problem with that: every other QB outside the top 4 absolutely sucks.
