Muhammed denied that, but don't let reality get in the way of some quality virtue signalling.

    Donald Sterling says hi.

Ya I'm sure it didn't happen when multiple players there said it happened and almost caused a fistfight and Collin's agent went out and said that it happened.  But okay buckaroo.  Don't let your reality get in the way with actual reality

There's a difference between behavior inside the workplace and outside the workplace.

Outside the context of sports, people with a functioning cerebral cortex find this concept self-evident.

Ok, Kerry Collins called Mushin Muhammad a N****r at training camp and played 15 more years in the NFL after

Only white people can be racist against black people.

Huh?  The point being made is that someone else did the flipped scenario he's saying would result in so many firings yada yada and virtually nothing happened because of it

Not sure why some of us white people are always looking for opportunities to feel oppressed or victims of prejudice and racism.  We aren't missing out trust me lol

I like how AB can throw a racist slur at Mayock and nothing is made of it.  If Mayock had done the same to AB, it would be headline news, Mayock would be fired, and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be in an uproar.

Do you forget that Riley Cooper was caught on video saying he'd fight ever N****r in here at a damn Kenny Chesney concert, and then still played in the NFL for several more years

$8K a week is not bad at all! Much more than I would have expected- Especially considering the PS guys don’t get their bodies thrashed every week like the roster players do.

PS guys get beat up way harder than roster players do during the regular season.

PS players basically are crash test dummies and are expected to keep going through ridiculous amounts of injuries

June 2007 - The NFL holds a medical conference on concussions.
August 14, 2007 - The NFL formalizes new concussion guidelines which include a telephone hotline to report when a player is being forced to play contrary to medical advice.

Le Ron started playing in NFL 2007, the risks were known.  Even when i was a kid everyone knew like a boxer you can end up with serious mental issues, the entire stereotype of the dumb football player.

It's not about being "a dumb football player" it's about having the opportunity to make an amount of money that no other avenue of life would have provided them.  There's a lot of athletes that grow up in poverty, and this is there only chance to not only bring themselves out of it, but the rest of their families, present and future generations.

the desire to compete in most athletes is strong and deep down he didn't want to retire and doesn't want to go out like this, so once he starts feeling good he may change his mind.

    Worked for Bret Favre.

The one reason he specified though was he never wanted to do what he did in 2016 again (where he was too hurt to practice each week, but was playing in games).  He vowed to never do that again to himself.  So what if that were to happen to him week 4 into first year back?  Would he retire after the year again?  That’s why I feel like he’s done

After watching Luck's interview i didn't realise he was in that much pain he is making the right choice.

However i believe he could come back after he heals up and doesn't have the pressure of having to come back as soon as possible and can relax for awhile.

The issue with him coming back after a year or 2 off and healthy is that if he gets hurt again, it's back to the same reason why he retired in the first place.

Which leads me to believe that he's done for good.

Isn't Clowney the guy who quit on his college team his final season so he wouldn't get hurt and cost himself money in the NFL ?

If traded to the Bills would he quit on this team so he doesn't get hurt and cost himself a big payday next year "cough Jairus Byrd cough" ?

Absolute idiotic comment.  If you could sit out and train and guarantee yourself 60 million dollars over playing for free and maybe having a devastating injury you would do the same damn thing

I mean, it’s possible he really is struggling to recover, but how many coaches wouldn’t love to have one of their star players sitting during pre-season? I have a feeling he’ll play in the third game, start practicing before it, and then play the opener without a problem.

    That's what I'm hoping for
