What happened with the cap space that was created when Diggs restructured? I thought that created almost 8 mil, but now we only have 4 mil after Poyer? Did Allen's extension take up more space this year?

say we trade Trubisky. What do we look like if Josh gets injured and Webb and Fromm have to step in for a few games? That should quash any current notions of trading the backup.
Exactly. Knock on wood, but if Allen got hurt for say 4-6 games or something similar, The Bills need someone to keep them a float during that span. Losing a lot of those games would seriously hurt playoff chances. Keep Trubisky without a doubt.

With all due respect, I listened to 67 seconds of that guy and found myself walking toward the steak knife drawer in my kitchen. Holy %#*!
Since I didn't see any of the game, I actually made it to 167 seconds. I got all the way to my knife drawer and may or may not have pulled out the biggest one out I could find

What if Winston and Hill struggle mightily for the Saints?
The Saints might not able to sign Marshon Lattimore?
The Bills could end up dealing Trubisky to NO in a package for Lattimore.
I realize that bringing in Lattimore would be just a mercenary hire as I don't see how the Bills could afford to re-sign him, but the Bills are going for a championship.
Is this doable? Would you do this if you were McBeane? Or is this a total pipe dream?
If the Saints struggle this upcoming season, they are going to sell Lattimore for a lot more than Trubisky lol

As someone mentioned before, with his height and hand size, he would be a great jump ball threat in the endzone.
I was thinking hail mary specialist on defense. We all know The Bills need help w that lol

My buddy is a Lions fan and has always hated Rodgers. I was alway indifferent, but as now that I've been paying more attention over the last few years, he comes off as kind of a smug tool.
I definitely agree, he acts so miserable all the time.

Was just about to say the same thing....I have no problem at all with them taking a shot at a couple of high upside edge rushers

Rodgers is a whiny b!tch. He's always miserable. If this is still about Jordan Love, he needs to remember he was Jordan Love 15 or so years ago

They were interested before the legal mess or are still interested?

The owner probably doesn't want the liability - makes sense to cover himself

Nothing like draft week where every "rumor" you hear in complete nonsense. All I got from this is that we are definitely not trading up for Etienne!

Ok got it. So night before is probably the way to get the best deal, yep. If all else fails , do the tailgate (do you need to show your ticket to get into the lot???) and then go to the Big Tree and watch it there???
Yeah, just start looking into prices/seats the week of the game. If you look months ahead they are going to be way higher. Everyone highballs at first, then they drastically drop. Theres private lots all over the place that you dont need a ticket for. You just need to pay to park. Who knows what the covid rules will be, but by the time the fall gets here, everyone will be vaccinated who wants to be.

Just buy off of the secondary market (Stubhub, etc) the night before or the morning of the game. Prices always drop because people want to make sure their tickets sell. Plus it usually is cheaper than a ticket directly from the team because a lot of season ticket holders are selling who cant make the game. Their per game price is cheaper then a single game ticket. Ive gotten some pretty good deals doing this for Bills games and other sports.

I am exactly the same. I usually obsess over the draft. However, its because The Bills have been bad/mediocre for two decades and the draft always gave me hope they could get players that would make them a legite contender and also get a franchise QB. Now that both are in place, it doesn't excite me as much. But its a great place to be.

Given how close Beane and McDermott work, I'm not sure any defensive players would be recruited by Beane without the seal of approval from McDermott.
Was going to say the same exact thing. Some of the pickups could have been more on McDermott as well. An average year for the D and people think the sky is falling

Just saw it's $8M with $2M in incentives.
I was wondering what the base and incentives were. I kind of wanted him on The Bills, but for a bigger incentive based deal. Maybe $5-6m base with incentives up to $10m. Seems like he needs a fire lit up under his a$$ to reach his potential. McDermott could have been a good coach to do it, but oh well.

They really won't be able to make a decision until the picks get into the 20's and they can see where their board is at and whether they want to move up, down or stay put. It is weird picking at 30, but I love these "1st world - team problems"

He has talent, but never lived up to his hype. Maybe I would entertain a 4th (which we dont have) if he had more years on his contract. For a one year rental for 6mil which we dont have either....maybe a 6th rounder if they coukd rework his deal
-
Nothing wrong about adding him to the TE group on a cheaper deal, but nothing to get excited about either IMO
-
I still think we got ripped off in that trade - the next years 1st was an obvious starting point, but should have gotten more than an extra 3rd imo

This is what a smart gambler should do, but this type of thinking does not belong in a degenerate thread lol.
