Is this sarcasm? Turnaround? From a rock bottom low the Pegula's set.
Last year I discussed the Pegula's failures. I compared the Sabres record before they acquired the team and then after. Utter failure. And this year we are only 16 games in and about 50/50 on wins. In the bottom half of the Division. This year it is way too early to see how the team will finish, or call it a turnaround. Getting better from a bar you yourself so low it is set located underground is not a turnaround.
The Pegula's have made horrible coaching / GM choices for both the Sabres and the Bills.
And Pegula made his fortune by a lucky break in land / resource speculation. If it had not been for a new technology called fraking being advanced after he bought the speculation contracts, he would not be considered a successful businessman today. He did not gain success from managing a business or manufacturing a product. The Pegula's have definitely not shown an aptitude in their hiring decisions. Although in the Rich Mans owner's club called the NFL, once you are in, it is hard to not be successful. No matter your business savvy or ineptitude.
You still want to call what I said Sarcasm after 5 straight wins and third place in the Atlantic, tied for fourth in the league. Turnaround, why yes it is. Do you still think Housley and Botterill are horrible HC's and Gm's?
If you can't get excited about whats happening with the Sabres you either don't follow hockey or have some deep hatred for the Pegula's.

He will be brought in... The rookie symposium as a speaker about how you can piss away your career.

Maybe you should wait a little while before proclaiming that the Sabres have turned it around. After all, it's not hard to show improvement, when you were so bad the prior year. Come talk to me when they have made the playoffs in a league where it shouldn't be that hard to achieve that(half the teams make the playoffs), but somehow the Sabres under the Pegula's have been a train wreck since they took over.
As of right now, as owners of the Bills and Sabres, they have shown NOTHING in terms of being competent owners, except their willingness to spend a lot of money. Excuse me if I want more out of my local sports teams.
No one should be mad about Peterman. Instead direct your anger at the buffoon of a HC who keeps trotting him out there, and the clueless owners who hired said HC.
Sounds good, I'll come talk to you in a few months when they make the playoffs. Perhaps you should grab a beer and enjoy the game Thursday night. Because based on your comments you haven't seen a Sabres game all season. This team is hardly a train wreck any more.

So can I credit the Pegulas with the Sabres turnaround?

Top three pick or this season was a waste

Personally I could care less about what any player or coach says to the media.

The sad part is he will still have more yards then any of the Bills WR's tonight.

trade your best player?
seems like a present bills move.
smh
6 games 244 yards rushing 3.9 average, 85 yards receiving and 0 td's on the season. Yeah we will really miss that production.
I'd trade him for a 6th or 7th just to rid us of the $9 million cap hit next season.

Do a sold for Jim and bring him in. Bye peterman.
-
I'm actually thinking we get shut out, 38-0.
-
Have you seen him play and have you seen our Qb's play? No question you do this.
-
I'm building from the ball out. Spend as much as you can on both lines. Then draft skill positions on rookie contracts. If you can dominate the trenches everyone gets better on the team.
-
That and they need a Running back, wink wink
-
Since Bell is currently holding out McCoy has the second highest cap hit for Running backs in the NFL ($8.95 million). Next season that number is $9.05 million. Like him or not at 30 I don't think he is worth what cap hit.

And they are still finding ways to win games this year.

You want Optimism? Buffalo will be tied for first place next week...
KC beats NE
Miami losses to the Phins
and the Bills beat the Texans 13-6.

Plays angry, I like it.

Boss, we made the playoffs last year and we're 2-3 right now. Just wait until I spend $90 million next season!!!
-
I like 5-1 over the next six!!!
-
Sounds like someone watched Colin Cowherd yesterday. This was a topic he discussed at length.
-
He is on pace for 576 yards 40 receptions (I actually think he ends up closer to 750 yards, he should continue to develop with Allen).
Last season he had 316 yards. So that tells me that he is getting better. I'm not sure if I would cast him off as the biggest bust in memory just yet.
Allen now 3-2 in games he started & finished with arguably the worse supporting cast in nfl

I think you misread my point. At Wyoming his supporting cast sucked as well. He always looked like the Best player on the field for them. I'm all in, I think we have something we can build around!!
