IMO 2nd half adjustments have been bad for years for the Bills.  When we on defense at home I'd blame the fans after half time since most seemed to in beer lines but this year it is not a factor.

I think despite Bills appearing to do everything right during offseason the preseason was not long enough to integrate players into a complex defense more resources should have been put into LBs and DBs.  The type of injuries we are getting are indications of not enough reps.

...quick story about McCown.......was living at a Cleveland hotel while my late wife underwent double lung transplant surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and commuting from Rochester.....turned out to be the same hotel that the Browns used....met several players, rooks, tryout kids et al........all classy folk...THE most hated by the Marriott staff was McCown......a condescending , arrogant, "don't you know who I am" woody......destined for Canton I guess.......

Being an NFL coach is a grind.  You work long hours, don't get to see much of your family, etc.  You also have a lot of headaches to deal with and often have a short shelf-life.  Could Romo be a coach - probably yes.  But he makes a great living doing what he is doing and it's a much easier job and lifestyle.  If I was in his shoes, I would stick with broadcasting.

The White House coronavirus response coordinator said Monday that she is "very worried about every city in the United States" and projects 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths as a best case scenario.

In an interview on "TODAY," Dr. Deborah Birx painted a grim message about the expected fatalities, echoing that they could hit more than 2 million without any measures, as coronavirus cases continue to climb throughout the country.

"I think everyone understands now that you can go from five to 50 to 500 to 5,000 cases very quickly," Birx said.

"I think in some of the metro areas we were late in getting people to follow the 15-day guidelines," she added.

Birx said the projections by Dr. Anthony Fauci that U.S. deaths could range from 1.6 million to 2.2 million is a worst case scenario if the country did "nothing" to contain the outbreak, but said even "if we do things almost perfectly," she still predicts up to 200,000 U.S. deaths.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reiterated Monday on CNN that "I don't want to see it, I'd like to avoid it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 100,000 deaths."

I love Josh Allen, but the guy has some psycho in him... that being said, I don’t know if he is where he is if his development didn’t include so much up and down. He thrives by getting his ass kicked and coming back for more and to figure it out. 2018 was a lot of ass kicking that I think he needed.

...think he needs to stop putting the entire show on his shoulders.....sure he wants to put "the drought" way in the past, but he needs to hone his confidence in his teammates.......injuries have not helped the supporting cast so far this year.....NOT pointing fingers, but asking a question:..if Frazier is THE guy, why does McD periodically find it necessary to take over D play calling duties?......

The fact that people from China flew into the US via the largest airport on the West Coast (LAX) is kind of academic if you consider you know...geography. I doubt it has much to do with politics on the left coast, also, the Federal government and the CDC were in charge of monitoring and restricting entry at our 5 biggest airports servicing Asian countries.

A more accurate way to describe Trump’s Jan. 31 proclamation is as a “restriction” on travel from mainland China — not as an outright ban. There were numerous exemptions in place that appeared to nullify the goal of preventing travel into the country to stop the spread of the virus. These exemptions included people traveling from the Special Autonomous Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and U.S. citizens, residents, their spouses, and close relatives.

    Exemptions: https://archive.li/cfUMD#selection-347.0-357.1

The exemptions are listed in section 2, I did not copy them here.

Even before the restriction was imposed, Americans and other nationalities came into the U.S. from mainland China unabated. According to an April 2020 report from The New York Times, at least 430,000 people arrived in the United States on direct flights from China since the outbreak was reported on the last day of 2019, including nearly 40,000 in the two months after the February restrictions were put in place. Thousands of these travelers flew directly from Wuhan. At least 60% of the travelers arriving in the U.S. on direct flights from China in February were not American citizens, according to government data.

Screening and monitoring of many travelers was found to be sporadic, and the data shared with states was incorrect, plagued by bad telephone numbers, erroneous itineraries, and travelers even claiming they had never been to China. According to internal notes and emails received by The Associated Press, there were numerous examples of travelers slipping through the cracks in the system.

Basically, the federal travel restriction response amounted to a porous proclamation then a cluster **** that lacked the tools, resources, and coordination to be implemented effectively.

....the 8,000 passed through JFK according to what was published.................
