Cian Fahey Fired From ESPN After ‘Ignorant’ Behavior at Bar
During 2017, ESPN parted ways with hundreds of employees and it took less than two weeks for an employee to get shown the door, but unlike the others, this wasn’t part of the layoffs.
Cian Fahey, who was a regular guest on Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones’ radio shows, and had a NFL podcast for ESPN saw his tenure end with the Worldwide leader in sports after an incident at a bar.
Fahey explained via Twitter:

...good call....unconscionable that you can go to 4 straight and not atone for your mistakes enough to win at least ONE.....

...not surprising......even NFLN's "expert" Terrell Davis said "AB is much better off with the Raiders and Carr versus a potential disastrous QB situation in Buffalo".....who cares.....

If he has 850 yards rushing, I don't think that will mean he's improved.
...850 yards rushing means he's heading for a gurney sooner than later........need a long term franchise solution at QB and not a quick injury exit.....850 is absurd.....

Yes, all three of them were there on day 1.
Before Olbermann, Bob Ley would co-host Sportscenter with Dan Patrick, and they both had a running gag at the end of the show where they would both hold a pose, as if the show had just done a freeze frame. When in actuality it was still LIVE. It was quite funny.
Anyone else remember them doing that?
...Oberman became a "first class Richard" as a political yapper......

God bless Shaq for his heart. What a terrible tragedy. The picture of that child’s bright beautiful face breaks my, thinking of her last few moments of her life. It’s just not right, being in a suppose safe haven like your own home and then being under attack like that! In this last year, year and a half Shaq has more than demonstrated everything and more of what this administration has professed. His heart, compassion, determination and integrity has been sterling and makes me proud that he’s a Bill and I personally think that he should remain one for a very long time. I hope Beane comes at him with a long term contract now instead of waiting until the season end and/or just letting this guy walk.
May God give this family comfort during this time of need and have Mercy on this child.
nicely done tribute.....just a senseless tragedy........one assumes to be safe in the comfort of their home..........

Can’t see him getting fired until after the 2020 season, unless the team absolutely tanks before then.
.when the Jets fire Gase, I'd make him the 1st interview....

I 100% agree with this. Which is why if he didn't know something in the AFC East that happened in the last year or so...that's bad.
12 years ago? That's being a little too critical IMO.
...well shouldn't we discuss his parenting skills like Andy as long as we're getting hypercritical?....go figure...........

I think it is more like what is the justification to even say that when
We were top 5 last year
We biult on top of what we had last year as far as improvements
Our schedule is easier
If your gonna say we are gonna be worse....then give me a REASON why we are gonna be worse that makes sense
...strictly his opinion which he does not justify......and I could care less......we gave up what, 3 or 4 200+ yard rushing games last year?.....I'd take a solid #6-10 that NEVER did that versus fallacious, statistical ranking last year which I thnk was based one on stat(correct me if I'm wrong)....

What would need to occur to extend or fire McDermott?

...FAR more reasonable.....plenty of new personnel, coaching changes, and with the battle cry in 2018 that Daboll had no talent to work with, some pretty good offensive potential in 2019 for HIM to step up HIS game IMO....
