If your point was that you object to the phrase "make every throw" start a thread on that. Other than that you haven't really made a point other than Mahomes is entering the NFL. So no one knows how these players will turn out until they are in the NFL. Guess we should just fire the GM and scouts and wait till they take some snaps on their team.

We are praying for you, man. Hang in there this year.

  2.

You can play Frankenstein by piecing together statements from different threads but the phrase "make every throw" is a well-known scouting cliche used to evaluate prospective NFL QB's. Right now the Bills run an offense with a limited QB sheltered more than any other QB in the NFL who doesn't throw receivers open in the middle of the field. You may enjoy that but others do not.

And yes, thanks for the top notch point that Mahomes is entering the draft. I never would have guessed if you hadn't mentioned it. Guess what, real NFL teams scout college QBs and try to project them to the NFL. It would be nice if Buffalo joined the rest of the NFL and tried that as well.

Different threads? check the 1st page but I understand how you feel right now trying to do anything you can to recover from your statement. What you said was he could make "EVERY" throw, yet he hasn't taken a snap to even show he can make a screen pass in the NFL. You're trying so hard and I admire that, I truly do. "Real NFL teams," interesting. Bills must be one of those fake NFL teams is what you're implying with that statement, now THIS is absolute gold. Love it.

  3. Mahomes goes through progressions. But as to learning an NFL offense, he only has to play in a offense that shelters the QB more than any in the NFL. Hit some deep balls now and then. Hand off to Shady.

And unlike Tyrod, Mahomes can make every throw and the Bills can add the slant pattern to their offense.

Lost all credibility with this post alone. Mahomes has NEVER taken a snap in the NFL and he can make "every throw." Gosh i love the humor i find throughout these message boards I got a great laugh, you can't make this stuff up folks haha.

  4. It would be something at quarterback. The only way I see the Bills even making the playoffs next season is if their defense is a dominant #1 and doesn't choke away a big game or two, but actually wins that big game. I hope to eat my own words, but I'm afraid Taylor cannot win any game with his arm, and his legs will fail him soon enough. He will never be a game changing passer, if it hasn't happened already, and the Shades will be half a step slower each year from here on out.

They have to address quarterback this off season. Rolling with Taylor and allowing for Jones to develop is a plan, but not one that I think is going to produce a playoff spot this season or next. But, hey, what the hell do I know..

Tyrod is the QB for the Bills for the 2017 NFL Season and he is more than capable of leading an offense. Move on folks. We have WAY larger issues to currently focus on.

  5. I live in Charlotte and watched all 16 Panther games, couldn't have been a a worse pick up for our offense. They're 100% thinking he can replace goodwin as the deep threat as his Go Routes were always solid, but he had one of the highest drop rates in the league. There was a game where he dropped 2 wide open TD's, so get used to seeing some drops this year although i'm sure it'll be called Tyrod's fault on here.

  6. Im sure this has been said, but "New Bills Safety Jordan Poyer was Oregon's Player of the year on both offense and defense; also state POY in baseball and drafted by Marlins."

Personally, coming out of college I had him as a better fit at CB. With the recent departures of Gilmore and Robey-Coleman I would not be suprised to see Poyer back at CB. Intrigued to see how this plays out.

A running back with the 10th overall pick.

    No, not Fournette. Somebody else.

He justifies the pick saying that LeSean McCoy is an "awkward fit" for our new offense.

If this happens ... what will your reaction be?

The guys works at "RotoWorld", a terrible organization, and has no clue on the strengths and weaknesses of the Bills. Wouldn't read too much into it.

  8. Lack of weapons led the the decline in the 2016 season. In addition, the increase in the running game led to less QB play from Tyrod Taylor. 2017 is starting out with a severe lack of weapons at WR so we could see him struggle again this year if we don't get a legitimate WR early in the draft. Philly Brown certainly wont be any sort of addition, he was AWFUL in Carolina last year. One of league leaders in drops.

Get Tyrod help, win games. Simple Math.

I’m shocked at how many Bills fans are advocating taking a positional player over QB at #10. It’s as if the Bills franchise were a house with a cracked foundation, and fans are fine with putting in a brand new tricked out kitchen.
Are fans feeling really good with a bottom 20 QB like Taylor? If not, exactly where is the future Bills franchise QB coming from if not the draft? Do you not realize that YOU ARE NOTHING without a QB in the NFL?
In another thread I laid out how many teams with aging QBs will be jumping into the “drafting a QB” game both this year and next year. Bills fans should be frightened by the prospect of the Bills not taking a QB at #10. The QB landscape is going to get very ugly, very quickly in this league with about 12 teams looking for franchise QBs. It’s already started this year by how many of the aging QB teams are actively looking over this year’s QB prospects.
Forget the "big board" rankings, draft a QB.

According to my guy the Bills scouts are high on this kid out of Wyoming who fits the current coordinator's offense to a T, Josh Allen. Was questionable to come out this year and ended up staying in school for another year. Wouldn't have been surprised if he came out and the Bills pushed for him this year, but he went back to school.

  10. are you an insider?

I'm an outsider. Like Steve Christie.

No, just an aspiring member of the media who has developed relationships with the right people. On the old forum i broke that Tyrod deal was done a week before it was announced, and that it was a restructure instead of just a signing of the deal. My friend recently told me about this site so I enjoy my personal favorite team Bills.
