I don't think people thought that the Pro Bowl is why tyrod is worth $15M a year. They think that Tyrod is worth $15M a year in a world where Mike Glennon is in that neighborhood and Brock Osweiler makes more. Value in sports is complicated. You are worth what comparable players get paid. Someone sets the market and then the negotiation begins. It rarely deviates from the comparable players though.

Agreed we have great value in Tyrod's contract. To make it work for Zach too would be a benefit for the team and an upgrade

Absolutely I would. Great Ted zone target, played with Tyrod, overachieved here last year IMO, should be cheap, and we need all the help we can get at WR. Currently we have no one reliable. I am in favor of it. I would have been ok with it without the restructure, but very excited about the restructure. I like Tyrod, he protects the ball well, throws a great deep Ball and plays smart and gives us a chance to win. I feel he is the best we had since Kelly. I realize he is no Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. But he is a good mid tier starting qb that we have on a bargain deal. It was the right move, there is no one better we could have got, and probably could have spent more on someone worse.
