  1. I am not a Tyrod hater.... I just think he is what he is average

he is doing good and I am happy that the bills are winning but I still think we need more from the qb position than what he is capable of

    Two things -

TT is the same as he always is, but is learning to use the middle of the field. He now has a defense and a kicker supporting him. This team probably makes the playoffs with this scheme the past two years. I like TT, but lets not pretend he made this giant leap forward. Hes played well before. Hes not Elite and thats partially on him and partially on scheme.

2nd, we are all Bills fans and want to win. Those who go after TT just want to win and look at Bradys who win with crap talent around him. Some people want the HOF QB solution, some want the complete team option. Both work, but the QB is quicker.

With that, find one of the million other TT threads about this is start something creative or that contributes. This is just a negative thread masked in positive intent

    good post!!! spot on

  2. I tune in early this morning for some Bills coverage to hear Jeremy say this, and I quote "This offense is exactly what we thought they probably might be". Wow, with insight and analytical capabilities like that, I'm shocked that ESPN hasn't gobbled him up!

please explain how they are wrong? Bills got rid of watkins who was the one wr that made tyrod look like a good passer.... Bills have a bunch of possession wrs that cannot get separation.

I am surprised your "insight and analytical" capabilities cannot see that

  3. I think Marrone is on to something. Granted, I'm an old fart and like football the way it was played back in the day. But if I were an NFL HC, I'd get the nastiest O line blockers I could find, put a couple big RBs behind them, and jam the ball down their throats. Plus a Sammy and go up top when they put ten in the box.

I agree it's a passing league based on the rules, but many teams don't have the QB to take advantage. With my plan if you average 4 yards a run you can mount long scoring drives and keep the other team's offense off the field. Think of our first Super Bowl.

so you would do exactly what the bills have been trying to do the past 17 years????? it is working really well for us

  4. No lead is safe in the NFL if you try your hardest to piss the game away when it's clearly already won as the Atlanta Falcons did.

That had a lot more to do with the Falcons giving the game away then the "way the passing rules are".

In fact if the Falcons did what Marrone just said he wants to do for the last 5 minutes of the game they'd be Super Bowl Champs.

but they built that lead passing the ball.... and patriots came back passing the ball

  5. He was roundly slammed as a me-first player on the radio yesterday by someone I forgot but in the know. Came to camp overweight every year, cost his team with stupid penalties and monumental drops. One of the worst hyped players in the drought. Wouldn't let him play for free, and I hope the team has the same feeling.

typical over dramatic bills fan response

  6. I don't think it's as simple as targets, that be nice if it was.

Hoping he is both available and consistent this year, it's now or never if he wants that check.

Too many vanishing acts by him over the past 2 years. Some of it is injury, some of it is scheme, but some of it is on him and his abilities.

When has he ever vanished from games because of his abilities? Does running wide open every play in the season opener against the Ravens but not being thrown too count as vanishing? Everytime he has been the focal point of the offense he dominates

You compared numbers. Not me. My only point is Andre was on the field most of the time. He was also a different player running far more routes over the middle than Watkins does. Apparently thats just too complex of a concept for you. Tough players play through pain and are productive. Soft players dont. Glass Watkins is the later. Andre is the former. Run along now. Take your ball and go home. Revel in 17 years of no playoffs. Its a streak right? Some people want to win. Your happy with below average and nobody will convince you otherwise.

dude just give it up... its obvious you have an emotional vendetta against watkins

  7. BS article - The patriot way is by having Tom Brady and Billy boy - 2 of the best maybe ever - Look at what happened last year when they did not have Tommy boy when the bills played them in Foxboro - The ****ty bills shut them out - I guess all that 'hard work' forgot to show up at home vs a ****ty team. It all comes back to Brady pure and simple no matter how you look at it

The patriots still went 3-1 without brady.... bills played there 3rd string qb

  8. _-----------------------

Even though he had the tools to be a top flight corner Gilmore just never embraced Buffalo. He did not want to be here and played with no heart at all. Just waited out his time for a payday. What makes me upset is when a FA goes for the jackpot he usually lands on a desperate team overpaying for players. Not only did he Rob us of quality years but now he gets rewarded with a monster contract on a monster team. Bums like him don't deserve that kind of good fortune. I've grown to dislike him very much.

wow.... he really hurt your feelings didn't he? Also the whole excuse of not wanting to be here every time a good player wants to get paid his value is getting old with bills fans

He put a value on himself that Bills FO did not agree with.... he got what he wanted in free agency....that does not make him a bad player or person

  9. taxes are wasted on so many things that we do not directly benefit from.... so why are people upset when some of the taxes go to something you truly enjoy?

public-private partnerships are not going anywhere and are much needed/beneficial

There are at least 4 ancient Roman Ampitheaters still being used today.

It is entirely reasonable to expect a well built building to last hundreds of years. Obviously it will need to be maintained to remain safe for public use, but a rebuild is certainly not necessary.

Totally agree. It is absolutely stupid for taxpayers to pay for a new stadium when there is already a perfectly functional (and quite nice) stadium that serves the needs of the community in Orchard Park right now. Building a new one would be a completely unnecessary waste of money.

If the Pegulas are dead set on building a new stadium in ten years or whatever, they should put systems in place right now to being raising the money from the private sector and fan base. There are many ways they could do so if they were creative enough. Then wait to build the stadium until they have raised all of the required money.

functional yes... nice not so much, go visit other stadiums, Bills Stadium is near the bottom in terms of aesthetics... The other NFL owners are going to push Pegulas to get a new stadium
