Damn poor Watt. That'd be our luck though getting a once in a lifetime player like him, Kuechly or Gronk and then their careers get ended crazy early by injuries.
-
-
Kuechly was never available to us, unless you're talking trade up. But if you're talking trade up then literally every player in the NFL was available to us...
2 spots before us would've secured him
-
Luke Kuechly, JJ Watt and Gronk. Shame we could've found a way to get all 3 on this roster

Carr is out with a transverse fracture - out 2 - 4 eeks probably
What a puss right? Like Carr a lot sucks for him.

I would add two things make that hit look worse than most: the mouthpiece flying out, and the almost immediately reaction from other players waving in help from the sidelines, the latter of which twists my stomach the most.
I mean the mouthpiece really was the last straw, not the tooth, that won't give you nightmares, but that mouthpiece...

Wasn't watching the game, just saw the horrifying slo-mo of it on Twitter. Holy sh**, how was that not a penalty?
Somebody with better link-fu than me can probably embed the tweet: https://twitter.com/nickveronica/status/913606481924231168
Edit: Not to belabor the awfulness of that video clip, but if you watch close, it looks like a tooth goes flying along with the mouth guard.
That was a tooth fffffff

Obviously...

Who let the dogs out. Woof Woof woof

Miss Sammy but Gaines is a great consolation. Also Tre White is looking like Darby all over again, this time with some ball skills and hopefully no second year slump in the forecast.
-
Terrible call CB stopped his progress almost as badly as Gaines did in the endzone. Also looked like he hooked Holmes' arms and he was ripping them away. Plus the terrible noncall on the Shady facemask definitely burned my a$$

id love to see a video of what happened to the ref. what a baby that he left the game. he just wanted the day off and some kind of injury settlement i'm guessing
Lol looked like a fat a$$ baby biatch who bumbled over himself and wanted to throw a flag on us. Was waiting for him to stick that thumb in his mouth on the way to the locker room.
I, for one, am ok with this.
Love it lol
-
But he's still on the sidelines
Some guys just won't leave
Doesn't collect a paycheck, just walks around asking where Jauron is.
-
Last year definitely, this year hopefully not. Love McCaffrey though!

Phrasing dude; phrasing
I have my moments. I actually tend to scout LBs better than any other position; for some reason I have a really good feel for them. I can regularly identify Day 3 LBs that end up starting as rookies; for example: I was all over DeVondre Campbell and Elandon Roberts).
So yeah, even a blind squirrel, ya know?
That pun was fully intended, as my BBMB brethren are fully aware lol.
As far as the blind squirrel, even a group full of those running the front office the past 20 years would have had more success evaluating talent.
Heck you and I would've probably been handed the key to Buffalo if they let us loose in there.
-
Don't get me wrong, nobody was in here pounding the table for the guy, but a few folks were convinced that he was the best down lineman in that class, and was worthy of the #3 overall pick.
Geez...apparently I had a good feel for the 2011 class:
Better celebrate; that **** doesn't happen often
There have been two guys I have pounded as hard as I can for. Watt and Kuechly lol. Looks like you also have a keen eye for talent sir.
-
There were 2 posters on this board that advocated for Watt at 3
I was on BBMB doing the same lol
-
I was exaggerating with my "20 games" comment. But common man, he's only played 5 seasons - two of which were abbreviated.
One more hit to the head and his destiny is Randle McMurphy walking back from his lobotomy.
I fear for his safety, however, thankfully he is a poster child of the NFL. If you do right by the NFL then most likely you'll be seeing a jacket in your future. Watt is also on that path.
-
Kuechly??
Has he even played in 20 games?
Gugs, I know a Hall of famer when I see one... my eyes don't lie. I was calling his destiny before he was drafted, I had a huge meltdown on BBMB when Carolina robbed us of our destiny and now that Beane and McD are here hopefully they will find a way to right that wrong.
-
I'm OK with them getting a plaque on a wall in Cooperstown, but not a bust.
Same thing with Urhlacher next year and Watt. Nothing for Clay M or Kuechly, and certainly nothing for Cushing.
???? How can you say no HOF for Kuechly or Watt? Innocent until proven guilty and I know Kuechly isn't roiding.

I can't believe Giselle was a man.
C'mon he knew...

Who put glue in my hair?
That's no glue!!!!

In other news water is wet... surprised Matthews hasnt popped dirty yet either. Gained 37 lbs of muscle in 12 months at USC.
Love clay but this I can see...

Was supposed to be the best ever... still is in my heart. We should definitely trade for him now while his stock is low.
