With today's "fantasy football and madden are all that matter" generation of fans, good defense = bad football in their minds.

Do I think the Bills are in the elite category? Absolutely. Do I act like an overconfident trash talking douche (like Patriots fans acted for 20 years) because Buffalo is good? No.
Any given Sunday is a saying for a reason.

My former work supervisor (filthy NE Patriots fan) was telling us about his man cave filled with NE memorabilia. Not just the superbowl championship stuff, but even lame things like his shrine loaded with afc champions hats. Room painted in team colors. Matching carpet. Etc.
When he finished we (I live in Seahawks country, though this was mainly a Raiders fan and me) began roasting him.
I asked if he beat off to a Tom Brady fat head on the ceiling above his bed. Raiders guy assumed it was a portrait of Brady in a smoking jacket, like Hugh Hefner. We figured he probably slept in a bed shaped like a Lamborghini too.
Don't get me wrong. I would not have been impressed by his decor if it was a team Iike.

My childhood friend is a Chiefs fan. We both liked our teams back in the 80s and have stayed loyal. Tbh we are happy for each other finally having our teams be at the top.
