People just seem so terrified that Allen playing with this line will get him hurt and psychologically scar him preventing him from becoming a great quarterback. But his record indicates the exact opposite. In the very first game Allen started at Wyoming he broke his collar bone in multiple places and was done for the season. This is after no one recruited him and he had to fight to get one college to give him a shot. Then the season he comes back he does so well that a quarter back from Wyoming gets mentioned as a potential number 1 pick.

So what you're saying is, we really need to protect this Kid,especially in light of his previous injury.

    I agree!

Injuries can happen at any point regardless of who is blocking for you. Start the guy that gives us the best chance to win and that’s it. Should we not play shady either? Can’t risk him getting injured either behind this line.

I sure Shady has complete confidence in the OL!

If drastic changes aren't made soon,he's next to join AJ in triage.

These are Nate Peterman's stats in the 30 minutes (two quarters) of playing time he had last year:

    • 24/49 = 49% completion rate
    • 252 yards, for an average of 5.1 per attempt
    • TD to Interception Ratio: 2/5
    • Overall QB Rating: 38.4

And people want to make a serious argument he should start?

What's his stats for his two preseason games?

Look,Josh is going to be the Man,but a lot of problems need to be fix on the OLbefore we end up having him in sickbay with AJ.

I trust the coaches decision either way!

Not very funny to you.  You don't speak for everyone my friend.  I'm probably a little older than you and guys my generation and older will be more prone to laughing at something like this.  Thanks for your input though.  Yes, we are all a bit childish as guys - the absolute truth.  Sorry for knocking your opinion man.  I'm just defensive about my little joke as you can tell.  No hard feelings.

Apologies nucci and everyone.  I don't know why I'm so defensive this morning.  I'll shut up now.

    Don't apologize,for what?

I thought it showed the Bills have a real coach and a great insight to who McDermott is, but it lacked the production  value and story telling features that HBO and NFL Films brings to Hard Knocks.

I prefer reality vs production staging.

I am just glad I grew up in a time where social media wasn't a thing. Sure Zay's antics were on the extreme side but I am very glad none of the stupid **** I did in the military in my early twenties ever got caught on video.  I hope he can bounce back and be a solid contributor to the team this year.

    Ditto!

I dont think Zay Jones will be a featured WR at all, what has he shown in the NFL to warrant that, nothing. How was his off season, borderline disaster.  He was great in Tier II level college ball and was a high pick, ignoring that he is nothing special.

    I'm not on your Grass!

Yes.  Cam passively aggressively sought the handshake as a PR stunt and a way to make everything about him since he has the emotional maturity and the perceptional intelligence of a 7 year old.

Pressuring someone to speak up with your hands behind your back in a no win situation is not alpha. It's B word. Benjamin's best move is to tell him, as I and many others would, to !@#$ off with his chidlike antics and I'd walk away.  An alpha never follows another for confrontation.  I learned this from my grandfather

If you have a situation you want resolved and the person disrespects you by showing their back you them around and get their attention. You don't put your hands behind your back in a microaggression while pushing yourself against the person to arouse a response. You strike first, you strike hard, you end it

In this case Cam did not think things thru on a level of maturity. Nor did he have any ability to follow up his actions with a response that worked. Benjamin's response dinged Newton. Benjamin doesn't care.  There was no win in this strategy by Newton.

And, I don't know who Baker is unless you mean Baker Mayfield and I don't know the incident you speak of as I don't waste my time with such dross as the major sports networks or any real networks to be honest. So, accuse me of bias but it is much more accurate to accuse me of ignorance with regard to Baker because I don't know or care anything about it having not seen it.  I care little about this incident, actually, and only know it because I saw it here.

No, clearly you don't know what you're talking about.  I loathe cam. This is not homer speak. And I'm just as quick on Bills players, too.

    I wasn't Talking I was Typing!

As a Homer,I was speaking for myself. If you thought I was talking about you, you're probably over estimating yourself!

I'm sorry but the Beta here was KB. From the start - Cam pulled out a page of the Carolina paper saying goodbye to Kelvin as a good friend of his. KB responds with an article trashing the organization and the player. Cam approaches him TO SHAKE HANDS, KB refuses and doesn't even want to speak. That is when Cam started pressuring him to speak up and KB walked away.

Do you understand what alpha v Beta is...at all?

The guy wanted to shake his hand and some of you are still finding a way to blame it on Cam. You guys are such homers its honestly a joke. Just a few months ago this conversation went the exact opposite way when those players refused to shake Baker's hand. Biased, character assassination experts...

Yep in Homer speak it's pretty simple.KB is a Buffalo Bill,Cam is not, therefore F Cam!

Our beloved QB LITERALLY refused to come here for a year forgoing his life long dream of playing in the NFL. Once again, drop the sensitivities and accept reality. Of course, when you actually give us a chance, you'll love us.

If we stop crying at every mention of the city maybe people will look at us differently...

    True!

I tell people that all the time.
