  1. AJ is younger and no one knows what he brings to the field. I would rather keep the picks if they cant get their guy and stick with AJ, Peterman and maybe a later round QB. They reached for Manuel, they cant do that again. Foles had a decent season and a good playoff run, I wouldn't make him out to be more than he is. This is a guy who was planning on retiring before going back to the Eagles, and who knows, if he gets traded to Buffalo he may pull the plug in a year. We really don't need another Kyle Orton situation? Speculation of course but I just don't feel like he's "the guy".

Rex Ryan also told us to "get ready, we're going" to the playoffs...

Notice the universal disdain for Rex present in this thread, and rightly so.

Yet when the Bills first signed Rex, Mike Francesa crucified Rex on his radio show, pointing out in detail why the hire was foolish on the part of the Bills, and why Rex would be a dismal failure.  Everything he said on his show was spot on...but when people pointed it out here, or dared to agreed with Francessa, the mob descended on them and all we heard was attacks on Francesa.

Rex was going to bring us into relevancy, things would be different, don't be negative, blah blah blah.

Funny how the passage of time changes opinion.

One of the rare times I completely agreed with Francesa

How about worrying about the person before the football player.

How abut these NFL Jackasses leave the pipe alone and learn how to be professionals. Guy needs to try "catching for Jesus" since he damn near drops everything

I don’t know if “the process” involves giving up an entire draft to grab a QB on a team with an inadequate WR and LB corps, and a questionable O line.

Agreed here, I hope they stay at 12 and use all of their picks to bolster the roster. They should be able to grab some quality starters with these picks instead of sending away all those picks they worked so hard to obtain.

His production has really dropped off hasn't it?  Just feel it's probably not worth the possible headaches.

He made one pro bowl and only had 6 1/2 sacks in his three years in Miami, I say he's way overpaid for what he produces. Plus he's one of the dirtiest players in the league, so I would pass on him in a second.

These are smart NFL men.  They are here for the LONG TERM!  Trading away two #1 picks and more isn't their style.  ESPECIALLY when there is NO standout Quarterback in this draft.  NO Manning, NO Luck and NO Newton.  It's a crap shoot and everybody knows that.

Get a CB, LB or DL in the first Round.  Grab a QB like Rudolph, Falk or Lauletta in the 2nd.  With the other 2nd rounder get a RB or WR.  I can't image what we can do with two 3's, a 4 and two 5's to fill-out our needs.

Then take a look at Glennon, Bradford or Bridgewater for $7-8 mil as a veteran presence at QB.  We'll have Free Agency for the O-Line.

We've become a SMART organization!  It's very nice!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they stay put, draft a QB and sign a veteran. They can fill a lot of needs with all of their picks, and they seem like the type of guys who really value draft picks. I could see them going either way really, it's going to be an interesting wait and see.
