  1. Hold off on the conspiracy theories Jasovon, at least until the regular season.

Not blaming anyone but our team, we need to start winning to catch breaks from the refs. But stupid things like the unnecessary roughness after a fair catch was called for is the type of play we see from Bills every single year, is it just a discipline thing we seem to lack that makes players accountable for stupid stuff like that?

Not entirely different coaching ----> Crossman.

Is Crossman still here? Fair enough that answers my question.

  2. Last night was encouraging in many ways but I was left with the same feeling I had last year which is whenever we have a big play expect a flag, special teams are a flag fest putting us in bad situations and helping our opponents.

What do you think is causing us to get so many penalties seemingly even with different players and different coaching staff?

  3. Because I like Tyrod, stats, and the Bills I ran some more numbers, this time with the Bills, the Saints, the Colts, the Ravens, and the Chargers.

Average Points Scored and Allowed in Wins:

    Bills: 27.1 - 14.5

    Saints: 34.9 - 26.6

    Colts: 27.8 - 19.3

    Ravens: 23.9 - 16.5

    Chargers: 31.1 - 22.1

Average Points Scored and Allowed in Losses:

    Bills: 21.9 - 30.5

    Saints: 21.6 - 30.9

    Colts: 18.7 - 30.7

    Ravens: 18.9 - 26.7

    Chargers: 19.6 - 27.0

Offensive and Defensive Swing between Wins and Losses:

    Bills: O: 5.2 D: -16.0 (Consistent Offensive production, Jekyll & Hyde Defense)

    Saints: O: 13.2 D: -4.3 (Jekyll & Hyde Offense, Consistently Bad Defense)

Colts: O: 9.1 D: -11.4 (Only 1 side of the ball shows up on any given week)

Ravens: O: 5.0 D: -10.3 (Consistent, but low Offensive Production, Inconsistent, but solid Defense)

Chargers: O: 11.5 D: -4.9 (Inconsistent Offensive Production, Consistently below average Defense)

24+ Allowed Win %; 23 or less Allowed Win %:

    Bills: 0.00%; 83.33%

    Saints: 28.57%; 72.73%

    Colts: 27.78%; 78.57%

    Ravens: 16.67%; 71.43%

    Chargers: 22.73%; 40.00%

Sorry this turned into a book...

We score more on average than Brees, Luck, Flacco or Rivers. Guess that puts Tyrod into perspective doesn't it.

I've always said the biggest problem is that we watch every play of every game for the Bills and most posters only watch the highlights of other teams, of course we look worse in those circumstances.

  4.

    You said :

Then you shamelessly agreed with me by saying:

    But here's the crux:

Bills D was ranked 19th overall.... Miserable by Schwartz standards, but not exactly horrendous by NFL standards.. 6th against the pass (GOOD  ) but 29th against the run (BAD, VERY BAD! )

ATL went to the Superbowl with the 25th ranked overall D... 17th against the run, 28th against the pass... They also weren't that much better than us in passing Attempts (27th)

    -So where did they excel???

Despite being 27th in pass attempts, ATL was #2 in passing yards (Bills were 30th) and #2 in passing TD's (Bills were 27th) TRANSLATION: -Ryan didn't throw that much, but when he did, he SURE made it count!

ATL's rushing attack was then able to COMPLIMENT Ryan's cannon by being #5 in Rushing yards, and #3 in rushing TD's!

I DID NOT invent these numbers people... And they don't tell a story that I particularly like... Still, the facts are clear.... As good as our ground attack was, the sorry passing game held us back.... Accept it, and we can all move on..

Falcons were 2nd in YAC, Bills were 32nd. Our receivers were beyond awful last year, come away from Ryan's so called Canon because it's pure fiction. He has the likes of Jones, Gabriel and Coleman taking short passes and just going to the house. We have Walter Powell as our number one for alot of games, where is he right now?
