This is Marcell's pre-season.....It will take him around in the 4th or 5th game to be in game shape.

Once Manning went down they set their sights on Andrew Luck. I would be shocked if they don't have the number one pick.
To them its worth it to get their next franchise QB by tanking there season.

I agree, they weren't going to let us win no matter what. Im still steaming over that non-catch. But no excuse for that defense.
We played better defense under Perry Fewell with worse players. Its time to can George Edwards and make Dave Wannstedt defensive coordinator .

I'll believe it when they resign the players they drafted. That may be awhile before last years rookies contracts run out.

Why are we always drafting guys to replace our free agents because we don't want to pay them. Whitner and Florence are good enough. We would be better off signing and adding depth at other positions of need. Like Oline , LB , DE and TE. How can we ever get better this way ? It can't always be about saving money or is this the way a small market team has to operate.

Searcy is an effective safety in coverage, but he is not aggressive enough in run support to contribute at the next level. He has enough range to be a center fielder and shows the ability make plays when the ball is in the air. He also has experience as a nickel back over the slot, but he lacks the hip fluidity to stick with NFL receivers in man coverage. He will never be a factor in run support as he shies away from contact and struggles to shed blocks.

I always hated paying full price for the preseason. i didn't mind losing a game to Toronto, as long as they had a preseason game to.
It really ticks me off having to pay for two preseasons with only 7 home games. And this 16% charge (twice) if you use the payment plan. On top of that, they hold your money for 6 months...Anyone else sick of this NFL (Ralph) power grab ?
